I loved van-camping at Above the Clouds.
View from there is spectacular. Colleen & Phil are the best hosts, super nice & helpful. We were nicely greeted by their nephew Trevor who offered help if anything was needed. Next day, Colleen very nicely shared a glass of wine with us and made us feel very welcome.
I would go back there with no doubt.

This is a great place to stay with a trailer. The property is a few miles east of the 12 in Sonoma County, up in the hills above Glen Ellen. The views from the property are fantastic. Location wise, you're less than 20 minutes from the Sonoma square and in the heart of beautiful wine country.

We have a 25 ft trailer and while Trinity Road is definitely slow going with a trailer, certainly safe and doable. They have a nice level pad for the trailer which backs onto a nice pond. The back-in is a little tricky, but I'm no pro with backing and was able to get it without too much pain.

Their property is as great place for kids with the pond and various places to explore. Phil and Colleen were both very nice and accommodating.

Highly recommended!

Loved this private site on Colleen and Phil’s land. They met us on arriving and told us about the site. It really did feel like we were in the clouds, the view and sunset were amazing. We both felt so relaxed here and can’t wait to visit again on our next Campervan trip.

Colleen & Phil’s RV spot above the clouds is a lovely place with a fantastic view, really nice touches with solar lights, a BBQ, seating area, and a pond to relax next to. They are very welcoming and even helped us get our camper parked (our second time out 😺). We would definitely recommend to others and hope we can be back for a longer stint in the future!

We loved Above the clouds! The views were beautiful! My dog had the best playmate with Mini, Coleen and Phil’s dog! Our morning view was of the pond and wild turkeys. We biked, hiked and relaxed in the swimming pool. I cannot wait to go again. The best part was we were the only ones there. I loved how peaceful it was, no car noise just quiet.

It’s really a magical place. It’s so quiet we noticed all the noise we left behind. The pond was a great feature. It was a lovely view to wake up to every morning. Our dog really enjoyed it too. They also had a warm pool and gazebo that we enjoyed as well. Phil and Colleen are super nice people and warm hosts. They helped to make our trip so much more enjoyable.
