This campsite offers a mixed experience for travelers. Many appreciate the stunning scenery, clean facilities, and welcoming host, Toni, as highlights of their stay. However, some visitors have faced difficulties with unclear directions and unexpected activities, like shooting, that may not suit everyone's preferences. Overall, while the peaceful setting and amenities are praised, potential visitors should prepare for some logistical challenges.

Toni is a gem and we will continue to be regular guests on our travels west.

Doesn't recommend
Communication , instructions on where and how to check in, and the fact that’s it’s a few miles out on gravel roads ( fairly dicey on a motorcycle and would not have booked had I known) then had to go back the same route to get food. So I forwent my $50 and went to American Creek in Chamberlain - only $25. Much nicer and beautiful right on the river.

This is a great place to get away, especially for a road trip. Having access to a bathroom and shower makes such a difference, and the facilities were so clean and so much was provided! We had a wide open space to camp, and went to explore the front area of the lodge in the morning before taking off. The lodge has a lot of information available to guest about the lodge and activities in the area. I would absolutely camp here again, and would look into the lodge rooms as well. Thank you Toni!
