Great location. Customer service hosts. They were there to great us with bottled water and fresh home grown tomatoes. Perfect for an overnight.

This was our first stay with Hipcamp and we couldn’t have had a better experience with the entire process booking our stay, as well as our hosts. Neoma got back with us very quickly after booking their location and Gary met us when we arrived. After a walk to the river we spent time with Gary on their deck overlooking the river. Site is very easy to access and a short drive to the highway.

An urban camp spot right near the river! The hosts are so kind, I was greeted with fresh garden picked treats and a welcome hug! Excellent communication, helpful and just good people. I will definitely stay on my way through SD again. Thank you both.

Nice quiet spot above the river. Just stayed for the night but Neoma and Greg were very welcoming. We had refreshments on the deck and watched fireworks. There was a storm that rolled through overnight and the camp spot was in a protected spot.

Neoma was a generous host. Her and her husband made sure we had everything we needed and offered their yard for our kids to play. This was our first time using HipCamp and it was perfect. The view of the hills and river were beautiful.

Easy to find location just off Main Street of a very nice small town. Super hospitable hosts that even though they weren’t there did everything they could to make it a nice stay. Would stop in anytime.

Quiet spot with a fantastic view of the Missouri river! Walking distance to old town and along the river. Make sure to face west to see the sunset.

Campsite was pretty much as represented in previous reviews. Hosts were super friendly and met us with a little gift bag. They invited us to enjoy the sunset / river view from their deck that evening. A riverfront is within walking distance, and the main river is a great (downhill) bike ride away. I just felt a little misled by the previous reviews about the great views. Although the view from the deck was very nice, from the camping slab itself, the view is pretty industrial.

Neoma and Gary could not possibly have been more welcoming, more helpful or more fun to stay with. It was near 100 why I arrived and Gary ran right out to store to get a 50 amp extension cord so I could run both of my ac’s. Neoma guided me in with turn by turn instructions which was so helpful because google maps is not necessarily RV friendly. I was invited up to their deck for the sunset which has a majestic view of the Missouri River and the Chamberlain crossing and spent an easy sociable evening with them both. They were very concerned about my route planning given the high temps and the vastness that can be South Dakota and gave me valuable advice on how and where to head next. I even texted them the next day after I left for more advice and they were right there for me. I feel like I left Chamberlain with new friends, not just the people I stayed with for a night. Thanks so much Neoma and Gary! Can’t wait to get back!

The Perfect end to our long day of traveling. Not only did our hosts Neoma & Gary meet us with a smile, they both helped us park and invited us to their beautiful deck to watch the sunset. Our pad was clean, level, quiet and had electric hook ups. We enjoyed watching the sunset over the Missouri River and talking to them both. They had great suggestions on spots to see as we headed to Sturgis. Gary also let us borrow his ladder to check out our trailer roof. Again, by far the BEST place we’ve stayed!! Thank you Gary & Neoma!

What a great landing spot on our route home! Neoma & Gary have a gorgeous home and are the most hospitable hosts you could ever ask for! I highly recommend their spot for quick overnights or if you have touring to do in the area. Safe, beautiful, quiet, and the best people to reserve with! A+++

I wish we had more time to have stayed longer. This turned out to be an excellent little "hideout" spot very close to the river/beach and other wonderful sightseeing opportunities in Chamberlain. We arrived late in the evening and our hosts helped direct me back into the site and get set up. The patio/driveway is level and we stayed hooked up because we were just passing through and wanted electricity to run our trailer's AC. The hosts are very FRIENDLY and we felt welcomed. Neoma had a little welcome bag with treats my son enjoyed and bottled water along with some brochures about things to do in the area. They allowed my son to kick his soccer ball around in their yard and invited me up on their house deck to enjoy the AWESOME view and some friendly chit-chat. There is a nice table and chairs on the patio. It was cool in the shade and we enjoyed our dinner just steps outside our camper. The site is next to the National Guards facility, but I never even heard the workers coming to work; I suppose my AC drowned out any outside noise. It's a great location, the hosts are welcoming, and I would highly recommend this HipCamp. Actually, it's the first time I've used HipCamp and it exceeded my expectations

What a great place to stopover. A beautiful view and extremely kind hosts made our quick stay super enjoyable. I would stay here again any time. Or two Great Danes loved the river access as well.
