We had a lovely stay at Rickety Gate Estate! Russ was so welcoming and friendly, the property is beautiful and the wine was delicious! Will definitely be visiting again next time we’re in the area!

Great little park. Suit the grey nomads, beautifully maintained grassed site with lovely trees and plenty of room. Power and water hookup and use your own toilet and shower. Hosts are lovely and friendly and we enjoyed wine tasting with Russell and his knowledge. About a 20 minute drive into Denmark with other points of interest locally. Very enjoyable stay.

Only 4 sites …. So not busy. The sites are beautifully maintained with green grass. The scenery is beautiful and you will be greeted by curious cows! Russell is very friendly and you must pop in to his cellar door on the weekends as his wines are wonderful.

Even the drive to the property along Scotsdale Rd is breathtaking! The sites are lush, green and large, and so thought out with hard stand for the tyres which means you’re level without even trying. Plants used for screening between the sites, RAINWATER with great pressure into your caravan and power included. Do yourself a favour and head in for a wine tasting - you’ll learn more in one session with Russell than you have in your lifetime and since you have to be 50 to stay there - that’s really saying something!

We just spent 4 of the most peaceful and scenic nights ever at Rickety Gate. Amazing location and the hosts Linda and Russell were so welcoming you felt like you were visiting old friends. We are already looking at dates for a return trip.

We loved staying at Rickerty Gates. Sites are private with power and beautiful rain water. Plenty of grass and very peaceful. Would highly recommend.

What an absolute gem Rickety Gate is! The grounds are beautifully maintained, with lush, soft grass underfoot, and the caravan bays are spacious and immaculate. From the moment we booked, communication was seamless and highly professional. Linda and Russ are exceptional hosts—wonderful people who genuinely care about their guests—and their wine is fantastic. We cannot recommend this place highly enough and will definitely be returning!" Shawn and Kirsty

We loved our stay at Rickety Gate and would rate it as our most favourite ever. The sites are private, beautifully kept green grass and gorgeous views into the countryside. Russ is an excellent host and loves a chat. We did the wine tasting and learned so much from Russ, not to mention the delicious wines which we purchased. Highly recommended.

Spent 4 nights there and it is a great place right in amongst the tourist drive . Beautiful lawn sites shaded by large trees. Russell loves a chat and shares his knowledge of wine making and his wines. Highly recommend.

What a great place. Russ was very friendly and knowledgeable about the area. It was very quiet and the sites are well spaced to give the feeling of privacy. The grounds were excellent, well grassed, powered and rainwater feed sites. Our only complaint was that we couldn’t hear the cows from our van site🤣, but seriously it was excellent and wine was great as well! We have already booked to go back!

We would totally recommend staying at Rickety Gates Estate, the camp spots are spacious and only 4 sites so no crowds. Power and water to each site is an absolute bonus and complete luxury for a Hipcamp. Host - Russ, was very welcoming, came and introduced himself had a quick chat and left us to enjoy the stay. We will definitely visit again when in the area. Only 15mins into Denmark and surrounded by beautiful wineries!

We really enjoyed staying at Rickety Gates, lovely grassed sites, only 4 available so very quiet and feels like you have the place to yourself. Russ the host was super friendly. This is stunning property/winery, and would absolutely stay again and recommend it! Power and water is an extra added luxury bonus!

We enjoyed a lovely stay at this peaceful rural oasis. Thank you Russ for your friendly hospitality. We enjoyed the sparkling Shiraz at a lovely beach near Esperance and have saved that special bottle of fizz for Christmas in NZ. 😎. Your place hit the mark for us and we’ll definitely be back if we find ourselves in the Denmark area again.

Perfect location with lush green lawn and amazing surroundings. Russ and his family were so welcoming. The caravan area is well set up and such a bonus having water and power. Highly recommend this spot .
