We had an amazing time.
Thanks to the surprise gift from Gregg and Kristin's, we were able to spend the cold night in warmth and comfort.
The incredibly kind hosts and the private camping site made it a perfect place for my wife and me to enjoy a peaceful and cozy time. Additionally, our dog had plenty of space to run around, which made us very happy.
We've visited many campgrounds, but this one is by far the best. I will definitely be coming back here again.

Perfect night under the stars.
Gregg's site was fantastic! I made a solo trip out for a night under the stars and everything was perfect. The site is tucked away away from the house and completely private. Plenty of fire wood was supplied and the outhouse was clean and close by. Will come out for another visit again in the future. Would be great for small family or groups even to enjoy the outdoors.

Friendsgiving was a BLAST
The place was beautiful and waaaay to good to be true, the pictures don't do it enough justice, with open few of all the stars at night, and amazing owners who were open to questions. My friends and I were expecting your typical campgrounds but boy we were wrong, with the extra gear and a shed for cover we were able to have plenty of coverage for the rain that hit us for a day, plenty of fire wood provided for us which was amazing, the trails to experience the back yard, for my friends second friendsgiving trip, we are definitely wanting to come back next year and explore and respect this place

really fantastic site! very private, lots of beautiful
space to explore and great access to the river through the Natural Area. Ample firewood and short distance to potable water were appreciated. The other site is closer to the outhouse, it is approx 5 minute walk from this site. Highly recommend for tenting!

Such a warm welcome from Gregg, Kristin and family. A very special place of peace and natural beauty with easy access to setting up our little trailer and the best nights sleep on our way down from Alaska. We were very self contained and so additional space with immediate access to walking trails with our dog was fabulous.

We came looking for a quiet, private wooded spot where the dog could be off leash and we got that in spades! Only 20 minute walk to the river and a network of trails make for a fun place to explore.

Camping West of Sundre
My family and I absolutely loved camping on Gregg & Kristin's land. They were so generous, so friendly & quick to meet our needs! I felt very blessed to be able to experience their beautiful property with my kids, friends & family.
Gregg shared with us the best way to get to the river - and it did not dissapoint! There isn't water access from the site, but a short drive & walk get you to pristine landscape with wonderful places for kids to play in the water.
I highly recommend checking this place out! My kids & I can't wait to go back!

First we did not realize the whole site was ours. Huge and very private, our reactive dog could be off leash and had the best time ever. The river close by on a 15 min walk for the dog and ourselves😀.
Lovely hosts and we got even warm delicious cinnamon rolls for coffee!
I will recommend this to any one who wants a large private site (with dogs to sniff around) and the river close by. And a plus point...the outhouse was decent and did not smell😀!

Hidden Gem
Gregg is a great host. What a beautiful private site to enjoy. Lots of room for our RV and a huge meadow for our dog Stevie to roam. Saw some wild like and took a nice walk to the Red Deer River. Ranks a 10 on of 10 on the smell O meter, the fresh pine trees and country air created a beautiful atmosphere.

Private Tent Camping
We had a fantastic weekend at Gregg & Kristin’s campsite (group of 9 and a toddler). It was completely private, quiet, clean and spacious. We had so much room for all of our tents/vehicles and a huge area to play sports, we felt like we were the only people here all weekend! Gregg was very accommodating and very generous, they provided us with clear directions, complimentary firewood, potable clean water, a picnic table and a permanent fire pit. The short walk to the outhouse (which was clean and NO smell) was beautiful, it made us feel like we were elsewhere. Lots of deers we spotted on the property which was a beautiful surprise. It’s close to Red Deer River about 15 minute walk from the property, it was a nice easy hike to get to. I highly recmd Gregg & Kristin’s campsite, we will be back annually.

We had a great time! Went with a group of friends and there was lots of space, really beautiful and lots of animals to say hi to. Only 5 min to a nice river! Highly recommend and hope to go back soon

AMAZING HOSTS!!
Gregg And Kristin were AMAZING HOSTS!! Their communication was always timely, clear, and so helpful. They were so accommodating with our arrival time, they helped us with all of our questions, and they welcomed us so we knew where we were going. They made all the arrangements for our stay to be remarkably easy, relaxing, simple, and straightforward. It was a very enjoyable process and I would be so happy to stay again! Top rating for the hosts!

Absolutely an amazing place to camp and the owners are beautiful people. Lota of animals around including some baby pigs :) .. beautiful river within a 10 minute walk and good fishing.. if you want privacy and a beautiful camp site .. book your spot now !!

The way camping should be
Fantastic sites! I'd come back in a heart beat. Lovely hosts too, just a great experience all around. This is what I picture when I go camping. It is a mix of front and backcountry camping. If you are tenting like a proper camper person, then be prepared for a bit of a hike to the outhouse depending on your site, but it's a lovely walk so I consider that a bonus. They have a very friendly filly who is an absolute joy to watch. We absolutely loved the meadow site and would explicitly choose that site again. Thank you for a great time!

Perfect Campsite for us
Site was very well maintained with a firepit with free wood, and a clean outhouse nearby. Far away from everyone else that we felt we had a private area but close enough to grab wood and water without hassle. Gregg and Kristin were super friendly and helped with anything we needed. The horses, pigs, and dogs also kept us well entertained.

Gregg and Kristin are one of a kind. The only reason I wouldn’t recommend is so we could keep this place a guarded secret! Hospitality is unmatched, beautiful piece of property and getting lost Is close by. The livestock are a great place for young families as well. Can’t wait to visit again! DESTINATION: nowhere! :)
It was exactly what we were looking for! A special little spot not very far (such a beautiful drive) home away from home! Gregg made us feel more than welcome and our 3 year old had the opportunity to experience life on the farm! Amazing!! we will most definitely be back! Thanks again!

Peaceful and private.
We loved the private, spacious spot for our motorhome. We were alone with our little dog who enjoyed running around safely. I love
that there are no major roads. It was very quiet and peaceful other than our rowdy neighbours the family of ravens lol. We would definitely book again some time. Horses and pregnant pigs were a bonus. Maybe next time there will be piglets.

Amazing and quiet place.
Hi Gregg and Kristin,
When I booked your camping site I was sure that everything will be ok for a long weekend. After we got there we were speechless about the wonderful site , quiet place and private that we choose to spend in nature. We don’t have enough words to say thank you for your hospitality , kindness and better place that you offered us and all the information you gave us about things to do in Sundre and surrounded area . 100% we will be back and we will recommend your amazing campsites.

Nice big spot with loads of privacy
Gregg and Kristin’s place was lovely. Nice and private with lots of space for kids a the dog to play. Gregg met us upon arrival and he and his daughter showed us to a beautiful spot that was perfect for what we needed. The firewood included was more than we could have ever use in a long weekend. The drinking water available was a great perk. Thank you for sharing your space with us We will definitely come again!
