Our stay on this property was so peaceful. We saw lots of wildlife and it was an open, beautiful view. We were impressed by the sites and were appreciative of the extra amenities and suppliers provided if needed. We left refreshed and happy.

We enjoyed a quiet and peaceful weekend at The Point, just what we needed after a very busy week. Having a bit of snow just before pulling out was a bit concerning, but the road held together and the drive out was uneventful. In all a wonderful weekend!

Daryl was a great host. The campsite was peaceful and beautiful. I loved waking up to horses everyday. We met some new friends at the camp and had some great campfires. It is a ways out, but enjoyed the peace and quite.

Great convenient spot off the highway for the night. Wish we could have used the cute fire pit but it was raining hard. Quiet and electrical hookups for those that need it.

We absolutely loved this spot. The property was beautiful, the horses would come up right behind our camper and we would give them some carrots. It was peaceful and quiet. Definitely a perfect place to camp. Daryl was very accomodating. I hope that we can return someday. It was awesome!!!

Quiet place. We heard coyotes in the morning. Easy plug-in and level ground. 8 km gravel road to site, so go slow.

Superb small site. Really quiet. Views. Surrounded by nature. Delightful owner. Positioned between Calgary and Canmore, the last 15 minutes of the drive is up a gravel road. We are returning.

We enjoyed camping here. If you’re looking for off grid camping, this is a great place to be. My husband and I have a pickup camper and a dog. There is plenty of space to let dogs run on the trails. At night time, we were able to see the horses come up for water. We went to Banff, it’s about an hour and a half to get there. We stayed at this campsite for two nights.

Clear directions, beautiful site, convenient power and water hookups. My toddler loved the visits from the horses and chasing after grasshoppers. Stargazing here will be hard to beat!

Great site, with F/H. Position yourself so you can reach all hookups as the location is not ideal for each site, but the host provided extension cords for use in case needed. Beautiful views with horses visiting right behind the sites. Very quiet and dark skies with beautiful stars as there was no light pollution. Gravel road which in part is not maintained was a bit of a drive to get out to the highway, depending on how you drive it, otherwise the stay was great and would stay again. Host was welcoming and checked on each guest upon check in and very responsive.

We full time in our Class A motorhome (34 ft.) with a 4-door Jeep in tow. Do not be afraid of taking this dirt/gravel road to the Hipcamp site - just take it slow and you will be rewarded with the best campsite you will ever see! It was incredible and the views were nonstop! The horses even came by in the evening and we were able to talk to them and pet them. We drove to Lake Louise one day and Banff the next so it isn’t that far to drive to see some of the sights but then you get to come back and just chill without the crowds all around. It was hard leaving this beautiful place. I highly recommend camping here.

My husband and I, with our two fur babies, stayed at the Alborak for two weeks and absolutely loved it!! It is such a beautiful view to wake up to and we very much enjoyed watching our stunning neighbours on a daily basis (the horses)! They brought us so much peace that we could watch them forever.
Daryl and his wife were amazing hosts!! We felt right at home with them and his wife (sorry I forgot her name and don't want to risk saying the wrong name to avoid marital dispute LOL) makes the meanest banana bread with chocolate chips which didn't last a day for us! :) they also did a geo catch for the trails and it was such a great addition to the place and we found them all! We enjoyed everything about it and highly recommend! We will definitely be back!! Btw, talking to other rv’rs they felt exactly in the same way and also said they were going to leave a nice review cos they deserve it! Thanks Daryl and his beautiful wife for a great time we had! :))

The nicest Hipcamp I've stayed at to date. Level, gravel site. Lots of room between spots. Good electric and sewer, drinking water provided.
Plenty of deer on the drive in and we had a visit almost everyday by the horses. Hiking with geocaches.
Excellent communication.

Daryl was a perfect host…. He was so willing to help us with anything we may need. This will stay a special place in our hearts from now on. The location was wonderful and the views go on forever. You can’t go wrong with this camp site. We loved #4 site because our camp side of the camper was facing the fields and the horses. Great areas to take a hike as well. Great place to stay. Not far from Calgary but definitely away from everything. We enjoyed walking the trails and looking for wildlife. Horses came right up to the fense and we even spotted them in the dark playing. Daryl was helpful and friendly, providing water and responding to messages quickly.
