Left in peace for many years there's been no modern chemicals or poisons on the land, meaning we've got bluebells, dormice, Red Admirals and shy woodland Jays for you to spot.
It’s a place set apart from the rush and clutter of the modern holiday experience, with an atmosphere that makes you forget the world outside, and just lounge, ramble, or potter about in a boat.

We want to offer our guests a sustainable holiday. A return to real camping means the lowest possible impact on the land and environment - our tipi poles don’t even break the surface of the earth. Your footprint while here could only be bettered by a survival expert. We loved our stay at smugglers cove! The pitch is very well maintained with stunning views. It’s so peaceful and the fire pit was great in the evening. I loved the Boy John. There was so much attention to detail in everything on board. Very comfortable bed and plenty of lighting. Also clear instructions around the site, regarding water, showers, toilets etc. All facilities very clean. Nothing compares to having your own little bit of coastline !!

My family and I loved the campsite. We were 10 people: 7 adults and 3 5-year-old children. We chose one of the private sites and brought 4 tents. The site was large and private. We enjoyed 3 nights there and plan to return sometime soon. We cooked over a lovely campfire, which the kids loved.
They also went canoeing one morning, completing a fascinating trip.

What a gem! Had such a lovely time at this little campsite - so much so that we extended our stay twice. Beautiful bit of land, quiet and calm, within easy driving distance to the best of Brecon Beacons. Lots of site options in the field and in the woods so that everyone can get their pick of a great spot with a fire pit. The creek is crystal clear and was lush to swim in during the hot days we were there. About as close to wild camping as you can get, with a very well maintained compost toilet but no other amenities. No complaints here though, we love a true outdoors experience! David was a welcoming host and came around to make sure everything was well. Will definitely come again the next time we are in the area.

Super relaxing and flexible with checking out so we were able to leave the tent to dry in the sun before packing away. Set along the the Daugleddau estuary, flanked on all sides by woodland and farmland, the local area is awash with good campsites and offers both spectacular countryside as well as easy access to the coast.
