Panoramic sea views greet every patch of our working farm while CAMPFIRES and DOGS are actively encouraged. If the views bring you, it's the inclusive facilities that'll keep you. Two blocks contain 10 toilets, 7 unlimited hot showers (try these!), laundry, washing sinks, fridge/freezer & a microwave. There are also freshwater standpipes in each field and a chemical disposal point. However, sometimes a shower doesn't hack it. That's where our converted stone Barn Café comes in-complete with Wi-Fi & charging points. Open all day every day, 'The Barn' provides an oasis away from the elements, where you can enjoy everything from breakfast in the garden to dinner by the woodburner. If DIY campfire cooking is more your style, we also have a fully-stocked farm shop onsite providing all the essentials & much more too! Drinks? There's only one choice... a pint o' Caffyns cider. Homegrown on our 3000-tree strong orchard, located next to the campfields, our apples go from picking to pinting without leaving the farm. From sweet to scrumpy varieties there is no better way to try this land's fabled beverage than in our cider bar. For the adrenaline junkies, onsite horse riding allows you to sample Exmoor's scenery from the saddle. Catering to all experience levels, from beginner to advanced, our range of rides (1hr-3hrs) gives everyone the chance to explore with a discount given to those staying with us! Wandering through Caffyns acreage will introduce you to some of the other friendly farmyard 'locals'. Goats (Hint: Goat Cafe?!), alpacas, chickens, turkeys & sheep are all dotted throughout the farm on the way down to the South West Coast Path on our farm's perimeter. The nearest beach is a 20min walk away (Lee Bay) while Lynton & Lynmouth are 45mins.

I had a fantastic stay with my dog at this lovely campsite. The pitches are spacious and the views are absolutely stunning. The staff are welcoming, friendly and relaxed, which makes for a really enjoyable atmosphere. The facilities are clean and plentiful, with lovely hot showers and great water pressure. There are also two large fridges and a chest freezer, which are really useful. The little shop is well stocked with all the essentials, too. The cider bar is a real highlight, offering tasty food and their own cider. The apple crumble was absolutely excellent! There are also plenty of footpaths straight from the farm, including routes to the coast path and Lee Bay. If you’re feeling brave, you can even walk towards Lynton and Lynmouth. A beautiful, peaceful site with everything you need for a great stay. I’d definitely come back!

This is the most beautiful campsite I’ve been too. The views are stunning and it’s really peaceful. It’s very basic which is part of the charm and the owls and bats add to the magic. This was our third year and I’m sure we will go next year too.

We had a lovely few days here, despite choosing the wettest weekend of the whole summer. It's a great space with only a few plots spread out over several fields. The facilities were all we needed, clean with hot showers, and most of the time it felt like we were the only people there. Julian was a good host and you should definitely try some of the farm's apple juice, honey or cider... We hope to return when the flowers are in bloom.

Such lovely hosts and fantastic place to camp. Facilities were great and clean - having the little hut with a fridge and kettle is super handy! The views are unreal and the coastal path is right there which is great for walks or trail runs. The field is quite exposed to wind as you could imagine but helps to camp in the corners of the field or up against the back wall/hedge which is what we did. Would love to come back soon! We had such a wonderful time at Goren farm. We had a whole field to ourselves which was very peaceful and the kids could run wild. The cafe serves delicious cream teas, and juice and cider made on the farm. We even were lucky enough to see the apple press in action! Julian was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I picked a special plot, tucked in the corner of a field with far reaching view across the valley! So pleased to have spent anothet night under canvas in this gorgeous part of the Blackdown Hills. Julian is very approachable, making me a lovely cafetiere of coffee in the morning. The plumbed in Shower and WC's are tucked into the corner of the barn, very tidy in a rustic way, and much appreciated. I hope to return again in a couple of weeks .... Thank You Goren Farm!

Absolutely amazing. Views are incredible and everyone on the site is so friendly. Facilities are basic but so good and clean. The showers are great it’s literally a proper shower no button pressing to use them. So much space the kids and dogs loved it. You can use fire pits and wood at a cost and Paul delivers them to your tent.

Such a peaceful and beautiful campsite! Pitching up right among the wildflowers in the Blackdown Hills was absolute bliss. The site strikes the perfect balance between wild camping and thoughtful facilities, great warm showers in the converted horsebox, clean compost toilets, and private pitches well spaced apart. The cafe on-site is fantastic, too, make sure to grab a fresh cream tea before you leave! Highly recommended for families or anyone looking to properly switch off. Will definitely be back.
