With your own spacious camping spot, enjoy the panoramic views of the rolling hills of Lyme Regis. We provide generous grass only pitches for tents and camper-vans. These are unpowered sites. Unfortunately we cannot accommodate for caravans. Nearby attractions include the Jurrasic Coast, quaint market towns and local pubs serving farm fresh food and local seafood. Enjoy River Cottage HQ for a cookery course and get a taste of local cuisine. Also near by is Lyme Regis driving range, golf course and foot-golf. If you fancy exploring Lyme Regis, take the park and ride which is within a short walking distance South of the farm. If walking is more your thing, there is an abundance of local footpaths including the south west coastal path, with Lyme Regis just 1 mile away. Our amenities include flushing toilets and hot water shower blocks. A designated space is avaliable for washing dirty dishes. Be advised that only cold water is provided. BBQ's are permitted; however, they must raised off the ground to prevent damage to the grass. Bricks will be provided for this purpose. Please note that campfires are now allowed at this time. A very warm welcome to our guests at Little Eden, a restful and relaxing, riverside campsite for tents and campervans with grass pitches. We’re in a great spot if you love fishing, kayaking, gorge walking, cycling, seasides, fossil hunting, wild swimming, fell running, bird watching, archaeology or even Viking history! We are 9 miles from the mystical Glastonbury Abbey and Tor and directly on a Sustrans 33 cycle path route. The River Brue runs alongside the campsite with damsel flies fluttering by and kingfishers darting back and forth. We are on the Somerset levels so the sunsets are amazing as well as night time stargazing. We have a private, wooden jetty where you can launch your own paddle board. It’s a perfect get away for campers and nature lovers. Bring your own raised BBQs and logs or buy firewood on site. A family run campsite around 30 miles south of Bristol on the banks of the River Brue, it has a relaxed vibe and we try to keep things simple and straight forward. It’s ideal for doing some day trips nearby, then lighting the BBQ and playing Frisbee (games box you are most welcome to use). Our big sister site is just 4 miles away, and the café bar at 'Wall Eden Farm' serves fantastic coffee, cake, and family-made Somerset cider. This peaceful, sheltered site has a special character. The site is the ideal place to unwind with plenty of safe space, a meandering river and friendly atmosphere. It offers 4 acres with facilities, 7 acres of wilderness, shower block, level pitches, picturesque river, children’s playground and has been rated AA 4 star gold pennant. Becky and John both love Cornwall and fell in love with the site as soon as they saw it and it provided the perfect opportunity for a new challenge. Having only recently taken over at Willow Valley in the Summer of 2024, there are always ongoing improvements being made so make sure you keep in touch. Any returning campers will be glad to know we aren’t changing the campsite itself though. Why would we when it is already so perfect!

As you'd expect from a site with such a name, there's a whole lot of space in which to relax and explore at 5 Acres, a large grassy site in the Somerset Levels. Kids and dogs are both welcome on site here, and there's plenty of scope for them to run about and play games safely away from barbecues and campfires (which are also permitted to keep you warm and fed in the evenings). Facilities on site include firepits, a toilet and shower block and outdoor sinks with mains water. We no longer sell logs. Nearest supplier is Knight Bros Garage. Dogs must be kept on leads at all time. We class ourselves as a quite site so no amplified music. The premier pitch is fully enclosed so dogs can be let off the lead. There is a maximum of six people allowed on this pitch at any one time. Visitors are allowed as long as the total number of people doesn't exceed six and they are chargeable at the overnight rate and must leave by 18:00 - Sorry, had the envelope pushed a bit! Mains hook ups are 6Amp max rated. Pitches are approximately 16m x 16m. The flag, firepit and pitch number line up in the centre of your pitch. The surrounding Somerset Levels aren’t just out in the sticks – they also produce them. Willow cane has been cultivated the traditional way in this part of the county for hundreds of years and can be seen growing within a mile of 5 Acres. The Levels are also a wildlife haven, making them an all-round top choice for country walks along the many trails nearby. And while this may be a rural retreat, it's also one that's easy to get to as it's just off the A378 (no winding country lanes to negotiate for this one…) Taunton town centre, with its wide range of shops and supermarkets, is a 15-minute drive away. The closest pub and coffee shop are five minutes away by road.

Weekend Trip to Bush Farm Campsite

We weren't sure what to expect. We arrived on Saturday afternoon so was quite busy in the lower fields near the river. We were pleasantly surprised by the pizza truck, Polish food truck, and live music by a local singer which was very fun considering free entertainment, we met a lot of people just hanging out at picnic tables with our dog, friendly crowd. Glad to have our bikes to get around. We took our tall campervan into the orchard and found a lovely spot just a few minutes walk away from the river swimming hole, but nestled in the trees. Picked blackberries and apples for breakfast! My son enjoyed meeting other kids and playing on the hay bales dotted around the fields. Our dog loved the river to cool off in and we all loved the Polish food! If we were travelling without kids, we would have followed advice from reception to drive up to one of the top fields to enjoy the solitude and views. There was also an "no mans land" which was for adults only near the river. Showers were surprisingly hot! Washing up stations and toilets as well as port'a' loos throughout campsite. Owners were laid back and welcoming. Not a fussy place. *There were several large electricity pylons running through the fields, but easy to avoid. Lots of well-behaved dogs off lead and other well-managed by owners. Saturday was a bit raucous, but from Sunday it went quiet and more what we were expecting. Great that this family choses to share their asset with the public so openly. Thank you again!

We had such a wonderful time at Goren farm. We had a whole field to ourselves which was very peaceful and the kids could run wild. The cafe serves delicious cream teas, and juice and cider made on the farm. We even were lucky enough to see the apple press in action! Julian was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. I picked a special plot, tucked in the corner of a field with far reaching view across the valley! So pleased to have spent anothet night under canvas in this gorgeous part of the Blackdown Hills. Julian is very approachable, making me a lovely cafetiere of coffee in the morning. The plumbed in Shower and WC's are tucked into the corner of the barn, very tidy in a rustic way, and much appreciated. I hope to return again in a couple of weeks .... Thank You Goren Farm!

We had low expectations, but this surpassed them by far! The lake was cleaner, bigger, more picturesque than imagined from photos online. We brought our camper van and moved spots after first night when more preferrable spot next to the river opened up. Definitely bring a SUP or other float to enjoy the lake. Great location for cycling on the Granite Way to Okehampton or Lydford with no need to drive! Public toilets about 15mins walk to Meldon Reservoir carpark. Nice supply of firewood. Bring your own water, not reliable source of drinking water available close by. Phil and his brother were friendly and happy to offer advice/ info, and often passing through the bridleway on horseback, quad bike or on foot with cattle dogs. Cows got herded through one day! So fun to see, and they stuck to the bridleway and didn't impact our campsite at all. Curious ponies roaming free as well, but only came into our site once while packing up. This is a public bridleway with passers by and their dogs, but still very quiet and peaceful. If anything we felt special for being able to camp in such a beautiful place. We wish we had booked longer! We do see how the experience heavily relies on good neighbours, though. For camper vans there are 4 spaces quite close together and we got lucky with one other really nice on each night, there are other more private spots available for smaller cars/vans and tents. Highly recommend this spot.

Lovley shop with farm produce, imaginative products like blackberry balsamic vinegar. Very kind farmer.

We loved the campingsite by Jonathan. We were the only ones there so if you like peace and quiet this is the place to be. We had a lovely spot with a lot of sun and a view on the river. We could not always swim with the low tides but when it was high it was great. Our host Jonathan helped us with recommandations for things to do in the neighbourhood. We did nice walks and went to a castle. We would come back here in the future.
