On a ridgetop site at Glory Ridge, I had a fantastic view over the ocean. Steve and Ann were helpful and welcoming hosts and provided a handout with useful information about wifi, the outdoor shower, trash and recycling. I would stay at Glory Ridge again.

Hi there, We only needed an overnight stay to keep moving toward our destination, but wow — this place was great! The sea view was amazing, everything was spotless, and we really enjoyed our short stay. Funny story though… at 6:30 AM I accidentally opened the door to the shed beside us, thinking it was the bathroom. Pretty sure I scared the daylights out a poor lady who was sleeping in there — oops! Maybe a sign at eye level would save future guests (and sleepers) from a surprise wake-up call. 😅 Thanks again for such a wonderful spot — we’ll definitely remember this stay!

Steve greeted us and was helpful and friendly. Easy to follow directions. This was a super special tenting spot for us. No other tenters on the two nights we were there. Private, it looked like two other sites near ours, and spacious. Picnic table. Flat, grassy, shade and sun, nestled in spruce trees. Near a well thought out outhouse with a lantern and a few solar lights for nighttime use. Neat, easy to use, private outside shower. Clean, quiet, good for star gazing. We would love to stay here again. Close to Arisaig and the Provincial Park and Antigonish. Grateful for this sweet spot.

The Lobster Boat has been one of our highlight of our trip around Nova Scotia! David took great care welcoming us in his unique place he built and we had a great time exploring the space. It is a peaceful place, yet pretty close to Antigonish city with all the amenities. Bonus point for being pet friendly!

Very easy to book. The site was nice and level, tucked away on their side yard. Adjacent to a pond. We were only there for a brief time but it was the perfect location on our travels going west. I would avoid the restaurant down the street. Nice folks but vibe, food and drinks left a lot to be desired. Also, bring bug spray in the summer.

What a beautiful campground and in an excellent location! The view is stunning and the campground is beautifully designed. Wonderfully rustic with an outhouse and outdoor shower. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful. A place where you can relax and enjoy yourself. A place you'll gladly return to. I'm glad I found this place; it's a hidden gem.

This camp ground was so cute and just what we needed! It had beautiful, spacious views and the host were absolutely awesome! The sites were close to the ferry to go across to PEI and downtown Pictou but still managed to feel like we were secluded for peace and quite! We were able to go on day adventures and come back to relax at our site to unwind and relax. Will definitely be coming back again!

The Lobster Boat Inn is located on a hill in the woods in Antigonish, Nova Scotia. It sits high and dry with no water in sight! You get the entire property to yourself. No barking dogs, loud music or annoying neighbours. No crowded RV or tent city here. Contact your host to adjust min. nights required. (standard 2 - 1 possible for a specific requested date.) Contact host David in advance. We provide visitors with a rustic, unique, "glamping" experience. The Boat is filled with lobster-themed items that will send you on an imaginary lobster pot-pulling adventure. Cook on the back deck as you drink in nature, then eat in an original ship's wheelhouse or outside at the picnic table by the fire pit. Our amenities also include: fishing rods, comfy beds, fresh drinking-water, refrigerator, 2 bathroom facilities, a hot outdoor shower, walking trails, microwave, and AC. The boat can sleep 5 guests, but a private raised glamping tent is provided for overflow if required. Day passes are sold at the university. Of course ocean swimming at one of the 19, nearby, beautiful area beaches is totally free for all, so get wet and splash in the sea! Sure, you can sit inside and watch one of our many DVD movies, but instead why not : explore nature, take a walk through the woods, talk to your wife, or friend, play with the kids, or throw a ball for your dog? If you want to relax, visit the golf course in town or just chill on the comfy deck. Do you want to ride, your bike on mountain trails, fish, visit a lighthouse or a petting farm? We are located 25 minutes from the causeway connecting mainland Nova Scotia to our beautiful Cape Breton Island home. We have 2 properties, at our home site we are on hill overlooking Upper MacMillin Lake in the village of Kemp Road. Our 2nd property which is still being developed but available is a lot located on River Inhabitants near Cleveland. If you kayak/canoe this river will take you out to the ocean to explore the islands. we recently installed electricity and an outhouse and will have running water coming in September 2025. The amazing Cabot Trail is a day trip from our locations. Enjoy great kayaking/canoeing from our locations! **Nova Scotia does have a website to view for indication of fires to be allowed for the present day. Please check every day as fines are up to $25000.

This property is located on River Inhabitants which is a tidal river going in and out from the North Atlantic 2x a day. We are not set up for tents yet but welcome RV's. A porta- potti and electricity are in place and running water will be available in late August. Located near the village of Cleveland and off Evanston Road. (Not sure why HC states it is near Antigonish?) Great fishing and kayaking but be mindful of the tides. Located nearby is a ranger tower to view the area and the stars above. Best to get all your supplies in Port Hawkesbury if u are just arriving on Cape Breton. Strait Richmond Hospital. is 10 min. away if needed. Please be mindful of our garden and young fruit trees. Please pack out all of you garbage as we do not have local garbage pickup... garbage can be disposed of in local towns. The town of Louisdale offers free potable water and dump station (located next to Babins Yamaha).
