Hi, my name is Dave. My family and I would like to welcome you to Nile Point, a secluded campsite located on 20 acres of privately owned, oceanfront property on Nelson Island, BC. I consider it the closest thing to paradise. The first you'll need to know about this property is that it's only accessible by boat. This is what makes the campsite so secluded and peaceful. Transportation to and from the island is included with your stay. The stunning 15 minute boat ride to and from Nile Point is one of the many things that makes this a truly unique experience. The second thing you'll need to know is that we offer TWO SITES on the property, a 10x16 TENT PLATFORM and a OCEANFRONT CANVAS TENT WITH ENSUITE (NEW!) with king size bed, in-tent ensuite bathroom and fully stocked outdoor kitchen with potable water, bar fridge and BBQ We have one canoe, one one-person kayak, a two-person kayak, and some paddleboards. Bring your own water exploring devices if you wish. Our beach is rocky (it ain't a sandy beach!), so bring your good water/rock shoes! This is a great place to stay and explore if you love the wild. It's off the grid, so if you want to unplug from devices and do nothing but relax or play in the ocean and explore the forest, it's perfect. That said, there is cell reception should you need it and a solar charger if you need to charge your devices. Egmont offers a pub, a fancy restaurant, and a charming convenience store with wi-fi. We can take you in to town during your stay for an additional charge of 50$ per direction. We've secured exclusive moorage at a private dock in Egmont. This is where you will park. This private parking includes secure gated access, closer proximity to our accommodations, and stunning waterfront surroundings New Dock Location: 6156 Maple Road Gate Code: 7051 (if broken, just open and close by hand) Do not park at the government wharf in Egmont. Everything went well! We enjoyed our stay at Jennifer’s. This is a new build that has ongoing work. The RV campsites and Tiny homes are great. The continuing construction had no impact to our stay. If you are looking for quiet well spaced sites that is located near Powell River and beaches this is a place to put a pin in.

We had the most incredible glamping experience at this absolute gem of a place! From the moment we arrived, our host was incredibly kind and courteous, making us feel welcome right away. It is clear that a tremendous amount of care went into designing this space. Every single detail—from the bathroom setup,kitchen placement, the firepit to the games( inside and out)—was perfectly placed and highly usable. Everything felt intentional and carefully thought out. We enjoyed plenty of privacy during our stay, which made the experience even more relaxing. As a wonderful bonus, we had beach access and were even visited by some deer in the morning. We truly loved every minute here and cannot recommend it enough! My kids said " We love Mishels place"

We had such a great time staying in Serge and Brigitte’s cabins! Serge was very welcoming and accommodating and shared lots of great local advice. We also borrowed paddle boards for the lakes which was super special! I recommend anyone who wants Earls Cove as a base!

Super cute little home. It's a 2 bedroom, 1 bath with a fully stocked kitchen and a small living room. Had everything we needed for a few days. About 15 mins drive into Powell River so very conveniently located. Jen was very communicative and went above and beyond reaching out to the community when she found out we were visiting to try out discgolf courses! Highly recommend staying here!

We loved the tiny home, especially the outdoor deck, which made our stay so spacious and enjoyable. The kitchen was well organized and a pleasure to use, with a brand new gas stove, working oven, & deep sink. The fridge and freezer were a nice size too. We loved the sauna, with the outdoor shower, and fire pit. The composting toilet was really clean and smelled good! The layout of the space was well designed with thoughtful details like hooks and lights in key places, beautiful artful pendant light and various sculptures made the space feel very curated and upscale. The bed was very hot however and even with the window open, the duvet off, and the vent fan on, we struggled to get a good night sleep all three nights we were there. We removed the duvet and slept just with sheets, but that didn’t seem to help much. Also the cell service was almost non existent for Rogers and when we arrived there was no WiFi code provided in the book, so we had a moment of stress trying to get connected. Yeomi got my text thankfully and once we received the code, the WiFi was only half decent. It went in and out a lot, and was stronger outside the tiny house than inside. We had some work to do and I made a couple calls and it all worked out! But it would hang up just listening to a podcast or trying to google the Savary island water taxi schedule. We loved our day trip to Savary island, and the Hurtado point hike blessed us with a gorgeous sunset and whale spotting! Overall lovely stay!

The platform tent was wonderful. Everything was thought of, bedding and furniture, cooking setup, bathroom and heated shower. We sat on the deck with the gas fire pit watching bunnies run around the field at night. The bed was comfortable. Made steaks on the bbq. There’s a grocery store 5 min drive away. It was the end of a week long camping trip and a great way to relax.

I had a great stay, and it really is a private and peaceful escape! The bed was super comfy, and the big windows look out onto Katie’s beautiful garden. The kitchen is well-equipped with all kinds of gadgets: an Instant Pot, air fryer, toaster oven, hot plate, microwave, coffee maker, and kettle 😄. The electric fireplace adds a cozy vibe when you’re relaxing on the couch at night. It was lovely meeting Katie and her absolutely adorable toy poodle, Rico. The suite is a perfect base for exploring the area, and I would definitely stay here again!
