A natural, convenient location with on the West Kettle River! We have 300 acres w/ 1500 meters of river frontage & access to the surrounding crown land and KVR trail which runs through the property. NO REFUNDS within 48 hrs of reservations -thanks. Plan ahead!
Recommend arriving before dark so you don't complain in a review how hard sites are to find at night ;-) If you are looking for fully serviced campsites where the outhouse is closer than 250m, then please carry on!
The KVR trail is the access to the property from the northend. From HWY 33 South, take the turn (West) onto Tuzo Main Road (about 7km's south of Beaverdell), then cross the wooden bridge over the Kettle River and take the first left onto the KVR trail (a long, straight flat gravel road) and follow for 1900meters. Mostly wide enough for one way traffic only, so please be patient and mindful of trail users on bikes, quads and vehicles. Access on the KVR trail from the south can be variable, check ahead.
After driving down the KVR right of way about 1.2km, you will arrive at the farmhouse gates - there you will see a little sign for the campground on the tree, so keep going down the right away. Once you go another 600m or so, you will come to a homemade sign with an arrow pointing you left. Turn there and then make a quick right turn then follow the road. You will come to the large tree with a picnic table and two blue barrels marking site #10. Sites 1, 2, 3 ,4 are over at the river, the other RV sites 5, 6, 7, 8, can be any where around site 10 or in the loop.
I can always bring the lawner mower over to cut the grass and weeds down just get a hold of me.
We currently have 5 tent only sites on the river and 25 RV/Tent sites currently about 100m from the river. There are currently picnic tables with blue umbrellas for sites 1, 3, 4, 10. There is a small white table and chairs for site 2.
RV's sites include sites #4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10 - I can add many more RV sites. Just need to cut the grass/weeds.
Fishing, hiking, exploring, bring your quads, dirt bikes. There's plenty of roads and trails ... Even a secret honey hole fishing spot not far away but that's hush hush only locals know about this gem. A camper told me recently he saw a massive fish (16+ inches), likely a rainbow in the Kettle.

Our lake belongs to the beavers and ducks more than the humans. It’s an amazing place to watch, while swimming is best done at the river, a 5min drive away or half hour walk.
A hike through the woods affords many opportunities to discover secret spots carved out of the wilderness with private views of the lake and surrounding properties.
The rare wildlife around includes bobcats, bears, cougars, deer, elk and the occasional wolf. Ermine, rabbits and grouse are also common sightings.
We have 2 dogs and appreciate a chance to introduce them to your dogs so they understand you’re authorized visitors, once you’ve settled in and your animals are comfortable. Thank you for your understanding!
While there is a fire ban on it is ok to bring a propane stove or a propane fire pit, but we ask you let us know about it so we can help you site it safely and we can bring you watering cans to have on hand. Forest fires are a thing out here.. We thank you in advance for your cooperation on this.

Come camp on a 40-acre parcel backing onto crown land mountains and wake up in front of 10 acres of vineyard and a view of Okanagan Lake!
There is a small cabin and two camp sites to choose from.
Site 1 is best suited for tents and small campervans, less than 18' or so (though people with small trailers like tear drop campers have been fine).
Site 2 has a much larger flat area that can hold RVs up to 30'.

Outhouse on the property, which is just a pit toilet. It is a working farm so will likely have various equipment around at times as well as workers at certain times of the year. You’ll likely meet our very friendly and very energetic Bernedoodle, Bernie. If you prefer to keep him out of your campsite just let us know and we can keep him closer. Otherwise, he thinks he has the run of the place! Please check to see if campfires are allowed (live in a high-risk fire zone) and firewood is available with an extra charge. If you need anything to better enjoy your stay, just let us know!
Our property is located in Peachland, BC. Positioned midway between Kelowna and Pentiction, it is the perfect location to draw from both population centres and is well-positioned to act as a hub for popular wine and other agri-tourism activities. Disconnect from the hustle and bustle of life and reconnect with nature in this peaceful dome located in Kaleden, BC. The dome is on 10 acres and borders 350 acres of crownland to explore. Includes a hangout area with a fire pit, patio table and chairs, solar lights, and an outdoor cooking area. There are lights and a charging station in the dome.
We also have a Spot for RV's and camper vans to park for the night.
**This is a rustic off-grid glamping experience with access by 1 km of gravel road. It only has an outhouse, outdoor heated shower, and no cell or wifi service.
Outhouse and Shower: The outhouse is conveniently located just a couple of meters behind the dome. The shower is across from the outhouse and has heated water.
Work in Progress: This is our first year open, and we're still in the process of developing the retreat. As a result, you may notice some piles of sticks and dirt.
Off-Grid Living: Please note there is no cell service or Wifi at the dome. However, you can get cell service just a short 5-minute drive down the road. Sometimes you can get spotty cell service at the dome if you stand in the right spot.

Welcome to our sprawling, secluded farm. To access this private retreat we offer to transport you and your supplies with our ATV, although some prefer the peaceful 1/4 mile hike. Explore the historic staging grounds for a Wild West cattle auction, where the cowboys drove the herds onto trains at the end of the KVR line! Please respect nature as wildlife, flora, and dangerous terrain are part of our environment; explore at your own risk. There are hot showers and flush toilets for guest comfort but require a short walk to access. Campfires are banned but we provide propane cooking and living utensils. Embrace off-grid with minimal cell service and no wifi; instead allow nature to fill you. Although Okanagan nights cool down effectively, we have used science and shade in designing these rooms to dissipate heat. We provide fans and evaporative coolers when needed and offer our guests plenty of ice (provided in an insulated picnic chest) for those delicious summer drinks and storing food during your stay.
Our country style welcome has guests coming back. Ask us about interacting with animals, our farm produce, gold panning and sluice box in Lucky Strike Creek, hammock rentals, E-bike rentals (Grandfondo runs right by our property), endless hiking, and more! Also, ask us for an update on when our pool will open (with wifi access)! Some guests want nothing to do and need all day to get it done.
Within 10-15 minutes drive you will find dozens of wineries, District Wine Village, Tickleberrries ice cream parlor, golf, shopping, restaurants, Area 27 racing, lakes, etc.

This was a wonderful stay at Bent Acres. We had lots of room in our truck and camper. The outhouses are spotless and cute! The beach by the river is steps away and we swam and relaxed watching birds and ducks. We walked the path around the property after dinner. Very peaceful. There is hwy noise from the other side of the river, but this didn’t affect our experience negatively. Will keep this place on file. 😊

The host was fantastic! She was very accommodating and took time to get to know what would make our stay fun and relaxing. The beach and amenities were wonderful and the space was very clean and well-kept. We ended up booking an extra night in the site after we arrived. We have added B.E.N.T. Acres to our list for future trips to Princeton. Thanks again for a wonderful stay!

What an amazing and unexpected gem! B.E.N.T felt like visiting family while spending sunny days on a fabulous beach on the river! You can feel the love and care in every detail here from the comfy beach chairs to the wimsy decorations adorning the property 😀 not to mention the outhouses that felt like an indoor affair- tiled and immaculate! A definite treat to sleep under the blowing poplar trees and laze the days away! See you again soon Treena and family!

BENT Acres is a fantastic gem of a camp. Treena was welcoming, kind and accommodating. The camping area has lots of shade with big mature trees. We loved the birdsong! The beach is especially amazing for hanging out at with a variety of chairs, shade, and games.

Treena is absolutely amazing and the site is so awesome with tons of space per site and my family and my sister family had fun, especially the river area kids enjoyed playing by the sand we took lots of photos and videos and our group of 7 enjoyed the large fire pit with kids marshmallows and we have a morning short trailing around the site and the view is stunning 💁🏻♀️we would recommend.

Fruit Haven is a wonderful place to take a break. Nice hot shower and great toilet facilities. Great private sites with a good vibe. Daniel was a great host, very welcoming. Cawston was a nice town, farm shops, wineries and a couple of restaurants. Awesome semi desert scenery to top it off.

I had a great night at B.E.N.T. The weather was cooler than I would’ve liked, and I’m grateful it didn’t rain. Checked out the paths to the Duck Pond and back to the River Beach. The outhouses are the best I’ve ever encountered. Maybe an odd thing to review; they were impeccably clean.
Thought I was going to be the only camper, but someone came in late. Next morning the new campers accidentally locked themselves out of their vehicle. I drove her to Princeton to get strong cell service to call BCAA.
I would love to come back next year. Except I want it to be hot then I’d be willing to do a dip in the river. Site was large to me. Car and a tent. Solo camper and I felt safe. Highly recommend visiting.
