Hwy. 3 is not busy during the day, and evenings traffic drops off to almost nothing. Very rural farming/ranching area. No agricultural, ranching or spraying nearby, though.
There's lots of blue-green Serpentine stone here, hence the name "Rock Farm."
We are an organic farm so we take care to use non toxic agriculture.
Fresh spring water provided, we offer primitive camping and are developing some more luxurious sites. Call me at 541-301-3331 for details, we don't always post right away the improvements we're making. Bathroom available, haul water to flush toilet. Dark nights with no light pollution gives great sky watching. Mountain views in daytime. Very quiet at night, and safe. Near beautiful Kangaroo Lake and Mount Shasta. Quiet and peaceful, pristine. Formerly Munson Mill, which closed in the 70''s.

Private, wooded area available for primitive camping or RV for $25 per night. Improved sites with bathroom , tables; chairs, firepit. We have 35 acres so you can choose the site you like best when you arrive. Mountain Views are amazing. Swimming hole nearby. Right off Highway 3 between Etna and Callahan, California. Or, camp across the street with an old wooden mill building for company. Small wetland nearby brings lots of birds to sing you awake in the morning. Open, level space great for nighttime stargazing. Property has a gate you can close at night. One hour drive to Mt. Shasta or Ashland, Oregon. Groceries, massage, hardware store, laundry, bakery, showers, restaurants in Etna 8 miles away. Farmer's market in Etna Saturday morning. Not far from PCT trailhead outside of Callahan CA. If you need a ride from there, call and we'll pick you up if possible for $20. Firewood available too, $1. a stick. Near Kangaroo lake for fishing, swimming, hiking, boating. Bicycle groups and motorcycle groups going by every summer. We're at 3000 feet elevation, so nights are cool even in the summer. Bright stars; We even have our own UFO. Air fresh and clean. Minimal mosquitos due to dry climate. Fresh Spring water available for free. We call it "RockFarm" because there's lots of Serpentine rock here and you're welcome to collect some. Even pan for gold in the Scott River nearby.

Welcome to Juniper Spur Ranch! Directions: GPS Juniper Valley Spur....this is a short culdesac road with a road sign at the entrance off Juniper Valley Drive. There is a green pipe rail gate at the end. This gate has a combination lock. You will receive the current combination code 2 days before your arrival. If you are turning onto a dirt road without a sign....you are on the wrong road. Juniper Valley Spur is my short culdesac road with a green pipe rail gate at the end.
We have 3 RV sites available for campers to book. Please note that we do not have RV hookups for any of the sites. You will be parking on loose gravel and the sites are flat. We can accommodate most RVs/trailers, if you are uncertain about the size just send me a message.
There is a portapotty in the hay barn cleaned regularly and a water spigot for non-potable water uses or for a quick outdoor shower with a handheld spritzer. It is not enclosed so you will need to be discreet.
Pets are allowed at campsites #2 and #3 only. These campsites are farthest from the horses and dogs. Please keep dogs on leash at all times.
Our property offers a beautiful view of Mount Shasta. Nature lovers, extreme sports enthusiasts, family vacationers and retirees, can all enjoy the vast recreational opportunities this area has to offer.
Lake Siskiyou is about 20 miles south and offers a wonderful 7-mile hiking trail around the entire lake. Bring your horses too. I have a couple of electric-fenced paddocks for visitors.

This camp is ideal for those that want to be off the beaten path ... on the road less traveled yet conveniently located less than 10 minutes from Mt Shasta and 5 minutes to Weed. The Camp is on 10 pristine acres in the Hammond Ranch area with a beautiful view of Mt Shasta to the East.
25' RVs with tow car OK/ Sprinter Vans/ Class C with tow car OK/Class B/ Trailer 25' with tow OK. If you are a bit longer just text us and we can see if it can work. All campers must be self contained with holding tanks. NO TENT CAMPING. This camp is for self contained RVs.
The camp is by a beautiful Zinnia garden which blooms in the summer and a small orchard which is all fenced in. The property is wooded and has a view of Mt Shasta from the camp.
The camp has a picnic table, two outdoor chairs and a Solo wood campfire stove with spark arrester that can be used as long as there are no fire restrictions. We can update you on all fire restrictions upon arrival.
There is a cool soaking tub available to beat the heat during the summer months!
There are several walks right from the Camp to a beautiful pond and hill walks for panoramic views. All dirt roads so great mountain bike exploring!
You will be surrounded by beautiful large Ponderosa Pines, wild flowers and White Fir trees. There is open sky for star gazing and no lights to obstruct your sky views. This is a very quiet area that is visited by deer, fawns, many species of birds, eagles, owls, rabbits, fox, hawks and more.

We even have raised bed designs with high tunnels for year-round gardening, and we teach cloning methods for healthier plants, composting, and making custom soil designed to your specific needs.
If you're interested in Permaculture, Hugelkultur, or Aquaponics, we've got you covered. We are certified. We'll teach you everything you need to know about properly using chainsaws (non-operating), including instruction on using an Alaskan Mill, maintenance and repair, wood splitting, and stacking. For those interested in firearms (without ammunition) or crossbows, we'll teach you cleaning, maintenance, and safety. If you have no clue about mechanics, “You should” out there doing all this traveling. We even offer a workshop on small engines to big engines maintenance and repair, as well as the use of diagnostics and the necessary tools.
For those who want to take things to the next level, we offer a 1-hour crash course on the maintenance, safety, and operation of a Bobcat E45 excavator. Friday night is movie night at our outdoor projection screen

Our ranch, Alpaca on the Rocks, is 5 acres, located near the small town of Weed in northernmost California. We have 10 alpaca along with mini-donkeys and horses, a mini-mule, assorted cats and dogs, Icelandic sheep, and Kune Kune pigs.
This is quite a place: There are the sounds - the odd mutterings of the alpaca, the constant hooting of doves, the off and on braying of donkeys. There are the sights of the country life that surrounds us, the cattle and sheep of the ranch behind us, and the horses grazing in the meadow across the road. And a final and impossible to miss addition to the sights and sounds for you to take home - the solitary 14,179 foot Mount Shasta presiding calmly over its domain.

The Salmon River watershed is among the cleanest in the world. There are plenty of hiking trails and beautiful places to experience. Osprey’s Perch is set up well for serving as a base camp for local activities like hunting, fishing, kayaking, rafting, day hiking, or just spending time on the river at one of the few private access points in existence. Camp is set up in a way that enables you to roast some brussel sprouts, or bake a pie if you so desire. I mean, how many camps offer that! Osprey’s perch is a small campsite perched above the Salmon River. We recently installed a pit toilet just downhill from the camp and opened up to tent camping. There is private access to secluded swimming and fishing holes on the lower Salmon River. A bridge provides shelter from rain if needed. The area is known for its world class steelhead fishing and is unparalleled in its natural beauty. The elk even stop by occasionally on a late winter/early spring morning if you are lucky enough to get the timing right…

Beautiful land in the stunning Scott Valley just 35 minutes West of I-5. This is an 1850s homestead with an RV park constructed in 1964. We took ownership in Spring 2022 and are bringing the homestead and campground/RV park back to life. The East Fork of the Scott River runs through the land and we offer riverside dry camping as well as full RV hookups 500' from the river. Hiking, skiing, climbing, fishing, hunting and boating opportunities abound in the immediate vicinity. Ask us about ranch tours, goat hikes, catered picnics and meals grown and cooked onsite.

Sis-Q Ranch is a small working ranch that is 9 miles from our nearest town of Fort Jones (Population 660). We have limited tent space that is shaded most of the day with access to tiled bathrooms and hot showers. It is filled with wild birds surrounded by hundreds of agricultural acreage. Wildlife of cougar, bear, coyote, bobcat, raccoon, skunk, etc are our local neighbors. We are quiet, secluded, and off the beaten path. We are family & pet friendly. Our night sky has been rated as the darkest possible providing an absolutely clear view of our universe! Come watch the Space Station on some evenings!!!! We even offer free firewood for a campfire, though there is no grate for cooking!
Sis-Q Ranch is located in the mythical State of Jefferson. If you love the outdoors, you can hike the beautiful Marble Mountain Wilderness, explore forest trails on your mountain bike, or cycle the historic roads and byways of Scott Valley. Swimming is offered on the Scott River a few miles from the Ranch or at smaller streams nearby.
If you love history, Scott Valley has opportunities to learn more about the Old West. Our Valley was formerly known as Beaver Valley, and played an important role during the settlement of the West. Fort Jones was a military establishment, and the entire area was very active during the Gold Rush. Many historic sites are found in and around the local communities of Fort Jones, Greenview, Etna, and Callahan. The Fort Jones Museum holds a lot of information about our two local native American tribes: the Shasta and Karuk. It is also famous for its fabulous collection of rocks and minerals.
