All we ask of our visitors is: that whatever you bring in you take home with you, that you leave your campsite and the property the way you found it, and the only thing you take from here are pictures and happy memories.
All of our campsites are off-grid, un-serviced, drive-in camping. Campfire wood and recycling facilities are available on site. Maintained outhouses are available throughout the property. There is no potable water on the property so please bring your own drinking and cooking water.
Children under 12 can camp for free. When booking a campsite please only include any guests over 12 years of age in your guest count. Children under 12 do not need to be included in your booking.
Contact us to inquire about large group and event rates. We host LARPing weekends twice a month. We also have a limited number of seasonal sites available from June to September.
I love this property and all the people who visit us, many have become extended family and for this I am grateful. There is nothing nicer than to have people drop by and spend a couple of hours, a day or a weekend, sometime when I get real lucky it's for a longer period of time :-)

It's an ideal spot for swimming and launching canoes, kayaks, or paddle-board river excursions, thanks to its shallow entry and rocky bottom. For a more strenuous workout, consider paddling up the canal to the Grenville lighthouse and then drifting all the way back to camp with the river's current. There’s a cozy queen bed with fresh linens and a down duvet. A covered deck with handcrafted rocking chairs for sunset views. A private fire area below for campfires and stargazing. More than anything, this place has become a favourite for people who want to give their dogs the kind of freedom they rarely get anywhere else. Most of our guests tell us over and over, that their favourite part is watching their best friends make their own decisions, run the trails, sniff everything, chase chipmunks, explore the forest, and basically have the time of their lives.
Of course, the humans tend to enjoy themselves too.
The cabin sits on a west-facing cliff on our private 164-acre property. Once you arrive, you’ll have the feeling of having the whole place to yourselves. The trails, the forest, the quiet, the sunsets, it all feels wonderfully removed from the usual noise.
In summer, the forest is lush, green, and full of life. The days are warm, the trails are shaded, and evenings at the cliff often bring a breeze and a beautiful sunset. The site is spacious, with a lovely view of the forest and a very convenient location close to the bathrooms without feeling too close. The composting toilets were always kept very clean, with no unpleasant smell, and plenty of hand sanitizer was provided.
It’s also just a short walk to the shore. Even though this particular site isn’t directly on the water, we really appreciated having easy access to the common waterfront area, whether to get out on the water or simply relax in one of the Adirondack chairs or hammocks available for everyone to enjoy.
Brian is an exceptional host—genuinely kind, attentive, and always making sure we had what we needed to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable.
A beautiful, peaceful place to camp, and we’d happily come back!

I stayed at Agape Garden Camp ground with my mother and we loves it it's very beautiful. Jennie also received us with open arms and was very friendly. She prepared our Sauna and hot tube and cold plunge with care. I never thought I could take a cold plunge but I did and it felt so good afterwards. Thank you Jennie for this incredible experience!

He ensures you get familiar with the surroundings and proposes multiple activities around , including extensive historical facts. So, you’re in good hands, either in person or a phone call away. A good base for kayakers wishing to explore the Ottawa river up to Montebello, including la Rivière Rouge entrance.

I loved camping in the trailer with my girlfriend for the last couple of days. The short walk down to the water was amazing, and we really enjoyed being able to have campfires right beside the water. It was also very generous of them to let us use their paddleboard; we had a great time exploring the river. I would definitely recommend this camping spot!

Beautiful and peaceful campsite with plenty of spots to choose from! Eileen was incredibly kind, responsible, and communicative throughout my stay. She was very helpful and suggested a great spot for me to stay.
I especially loved being close to the pond—it created such a calm and serene atmosphere. It was also wonderful for my dog, who absolutely loved exploring and walking through the forest. I felt very safe and comfortable throughout my stay, even as a solo female traveler.
One night, the campers at a nearby site were quite loud until around 2 a.m. This was not the host’s fault at all, as I had chosen a spot close to other campers, and thankfully, earplugs did the trick!
Overall, I had a wonderful and relaxing stay and would absolutely come back. I highly recommend this campsite to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway surrounded by nature!

Can't beat this view! Very rustic and secluded. Everything provided was in great working order. Mike the host was super helpful and a pleasure to chat with. Made everything super easy and comfortable. Would recommend to anyone who can handle walking up a couple hills. Only thing we wish we did different was book a couple more days!

We got there and Gerry was so helpful and kind! Once we got to our spot, it felt like a little slice of heaven. The sound of the rapids were so calming and we could hear the occasional fish jumping. We even saw a turtle swimming down the river, it was awesome!
Firewood was perfect, tent spot was perfect, the are even little twinkle lights for when the sun goes down!
We brought our elderly dog and it was great to have her off leash to relax with us by the fire. Definitely recommend this place if your dog is calm and not territorial as others may bring their dogs too, maybe they can make friends!
Highly recommend this location, Gerry is awesome and will go above and beyond to ensure you have an amazing stay.
Heads up, no phone service. You can get a bit if you walk up the road though so no biggie!

Lac-Simon welcomes campers to visit for springtime blooms and fall foliage with cooler seasonal temperatures—average highs around 12°C and potential below zero drops overnight. When winter hits, expect consistent temperatures below zero, and it’s recommended to have cold weather camping experience before making the trip.
