We had a quick one-night escape to Laura’s place and it really was an oasis. Lots of privacy, huge site, great fire pit and comfy chairs/picnic table. Composting toilet in a real building (not a porta-potty) was a bonus. Would highly recommend!

Weekend Trip to Shiloh Barn Glamping

I proposed to my girlfriend (now fiancé) here at Siloh Barn and it was absolutely perfect. The upstairs rooftop barn is very romantic, that’s where I did it. The host Jessica was an absolute delight to talk to and helped everywhere she could to help make the proposal, and our overall stay, very comfortable. The yurt tent is very cozy and roomy and the queen sized bed was very comfy. I would honestly recommend this place to everyone, whether you’re proposing or just want a a serene, country get away.

I really enjoyed my stay.i met Andrea in the farm store.Sourced with local product from meat to cheeses.Even local gourmet icecreams.She was helpful about the area and about my stay.i originally had Heart of the forest booked but fir myself as solo car camping I felt a little too open.would be great spot for families.so I switched to the Fringe set into the woods a bit and overlooking pasture and neighboring farmland.i was encouraged by Carl and Andrea to wander the farm.it was perfect time of year for lambs.i was always accompanied by their 2 beautiful dogs and had a few visits with the pups at my site.i brought some carrots to feed the horse.this is a very serine space.so if you like birds chirping,roosters crowing,lambs baking and a crackling fire then this is the place for you.

Leila and Andrew have a lovely property with a pond, barns, stone buildings, and horses to boot! They were very accommodating in my selection of sites and I very much enjoyed my solo stay!

1 night at Kubasseks Water Front Retreat

This was one of our best camping experience. The host David is a true gentleman who is extremely warm and friendly. Best campsite location not far from GTA. The highlight is the free firewood and farm eggs. Also the host is really flexible incase there is no booking the subsequent day then you are allowed to check out late. This will definitely be my go to for camping when i dnt want to travel a lot.

Weekend Trip to Monarch Meadows Tree Farm

Monarch meadows is the best place to camp and to unwind. The perfect place its very peaceful, birds flying and tweeting, heard turkeys from a distance, the sound of a rushing river so soothing, whoosing sounds of wind from the trees, luscious green trees and grasses, crackling sounds of fire from the fire pit its a natural world. It was raining dint care dint last long still we had a great time, we walked in the trail to explore, my hubby fish for fun, barbecued in the firepit, read my book relax and had a cup of tea. David, hes extremely helpful helped us carry our stuff and offered helped the day we left. I definitely recommend Monarch Meadows tree farm. I assure, you will have a good time and refresh. Definitely going back.

Sweet Pond Camping

Secluded Starry Nights

Located in the hamlet of Mosborough on 113 acres, this is a working farm with open fields, an old orchard, and 27 acres of forest. We are a short drive to Guelph Lake, the Elora Gorge, Guelph to Goderich rail trail, and a 25-minute drive to St Jacob's farmers market. And a 1.4 km walk to a small country market and bakery. A great site for families that you can call home and plan day trips around the area, or hang out at the campsite. Firewood is available for purchase on-site. We have 3 campsites that are spread out on 4 acres of grass. 1 site is used for temporary summer trailers, 2 are for camping. Pets are welcome, but keep them on a leash. Please remember to remove all garbage and recycling from campsites, a compost bin is available on site by the garden. A portable toilet is available from May 15 to the end of thanksgiving weekend in October. A 2 night stay is required for summer weekends. We look forward to hosting you!
