This off grid warm, cozy, roomy and rustic cabin sleeps 6 people comfortably. It is located in Round Lake, Ontario with easy access off Renfrew County Road 58 (Round Lake Road). It is approximately a 25 minute drive to the Basin Lake Access Point of Algonquin Provincial Park and just minutes away from the Killaloe, Hagarty, Richards Township boat launch in the village of Round Lake Centre . Bonnechere Provincial Park, Foy Provincial Park and Cheryl Boyle Park are 2-4 kms away, where sandy beaches and excellent swimming can be enjoyed on pristine Round Lake. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets at these locations provide the perfect beginning and end to your days. Bring your camera!! Fall brings a whole new dimension to this picturesque community nestled in the Upper Ottawa Valley. The fall foliage, with all its splendor during September and October, offers many opportunities for the camera buff or hiker. The cabin is set on 100 plus acres of private, mostly forested land and has a beaver pond that creates habitat for many different species of birds and wildlife. The Bunk House cabin can sleep six guests, with 2 single bunk beds and one single bunk over double bed. The kitchen area is complete with dishes, drink ware, pots, pans, utensils, toaster and coffee pot. A propane BBQ is also made available to our guests. The kitchen comes equipped with a 4 burner propane stove with an oven. A two burner camping stove can also be made available. A wood fired, air tight fireplace for warmth on those cooler nights, provides both comfort and ambiance (wood is provided). Please note: guests must bring their own bedding/sleeping bag/pillow as we do not provide that. The cabin is solar powered with a back up gasoline generator. An outdoor fire pit with seating is close by, as well as an outhouse. Walking trails along the beaver pond and property are maintained for your hiking pleasure. This rental includes both available cabins on the property, you will never be sharing with another group. Danaview is larger and has the main living space, Kneehill has extra sleeping space and some overflow living space. Don't worry about packing sheets or towels, linens are included. Outdoors features a propane BBQ close to the house and fire pit in the backyard. Relax on the back deck with a beverage listening to the breeze in the trees and watching birds at the feeder. Just off Palmerston Lake, there is a boat launch space just a five minute walk down the road. Two public beaches on the lake are great for swimming. There's lots to do nearby - hiking, swimming, boating, ATV trails, art studios, and much more. This is not only a rental property, it is a place to gather with my own family and friends. You may find personal mementos spread around and some artwork from young family members adorning the walls. Make yourself at home, feel free to use a board game, borrow a book to read during your visit, and use any spices or other kitchen ingredients you find in the cabinets. I hope you will find the relaxation and coziness in this space that I do.

The hiking trails are well-marked and the walk to the lake is beautiful, even in the late fall with barely any leaves left on the trees. We spent a peaceful and restorative two nights, and look forward to doing so again.

Weekend Trip to Perth Boho Chic Vintage Caravan

Lisa is a wonderful host — calm, friendly, and with great communication throughout our stay. Her hospitality and attention to comfort were amazing. She kept checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. It was a bit cold during our visit since there’s no electricity in the caravan, but Lisa made sure we had enough warmers to stay cozy. The propane stove worked perfectly, and the kitchen was well-equipped for making coffee and tea. We probably chose the wrong season — early fall or summer would be ideal — but the cold was still manageable for us. Overall, it was a peaceful and memorable experience. We’ll definitely be back!

Neil has a great place 30 minutes away from Gatineau! U get plenty of privacy on his property. We've enjoyed the sound of the water crrek at night. There is a wood heater inside the tent so the temperature was not too cold in mid october. There is a grocery store 5 min from the camp.... Very convinient. Would recommend!

My family and I stayed in one of the bell tents at Agape Gardens. It was super clean and very well decorated. It was so inviting and cosy. Jennie smudged the tent prior to us arriving which is such an honour to have done. Jennie and her beautiful family welcomed us with a tour of the property, which we found to be extremely well looked after. From the brimming gardens, healthy live stock, well established hiking trail, to the multiple options of sites to camp at, we were very impressed. We felt at home immediately and wished we could’ve stayed longer. We also met her neighbours who were also very friendly people and jumped to help us fix some toys we had with us. We will most definitely visit this special place again. An easy 5 star review. Many thanks Jennie and Jeremy.

We had an absolutely lovely, relaxing time at Mike's cabin this weekend. The cabin is the perfect blend of rustic and cozy, with many thoughtful little amenities that made us feel at home right away and eliminated the stress of packing compared to traditional tent camping. We were lucky enough to book with fall colours in full force and were treated to stunning sunset views both nights. With enough hiking trails and wilderness to explore to your heart's content, there was plenty of opportunity to mix in some adventure. We are eagerly looking forward to coming back soon and experiencing what winter at the cabin has to offer!

Lovely spot- very relaxing, amazing view, friendly hosts. we loved the bell tent, although we were there on the first night of October, so it got a bit chilly in the evening- luckily there were extra blankets.
