-- What to do around the cabin?
Mosque Lake and Ompah offer many adventures and places to discover. Go out on a hike and explore the trails in the area. Go on a photographic adventure and try to capture the best wildlife shots around the lake. Take a SUP or a kayak -available for free for the guests- and explore the islands. And if you like to prepare fresh fish-based dishes, Mosque Lake has great trout and perch fishing.
If you like to follow the winds of winter, take a pair of snowshoes available at the cabin and go across the lake and have a winter picnic. Set up your fishing shack outside your door, open a hole and fish!
*Winter roads require an AWD or 4WD vehicle to access Juniper Cabin.
Parking is available on-site for all guests. If you bring your boat, there is parking for your trailer as well.
*Power outages due to storms are always a possibility in cottage country. Typically, power is restored within a few hours if this should happen. Cottages will be stocked with candles and flashlights for guest safety.
*Internet/WIFI access is available at the property- connect to our WIFI and work from the cabins.
* If you’d like to bring your own boat, there is a free boat launch on the lake, and we can support docking your boat.

Guest are welcome to bring their own firewood. The first crate of firewood is included with your stay, and each additional crate is $5. The firewood is self-serve and we ask you to simply let us know how much wood you have used during your stay, or leave the appropriate funds on your table at check out.
Guests are responsible for removing their garbage and recycling from the cabin and bringing it to the garbage shed. The township requires all waste to be sorted, and the containers in the shed are labelled accordingly. Please sort your garbage and do your part to help save our planet.
We do have neighbours on one side of our property and share the peninsula with our amazing cottage community. Please be courteous to our cottage neighbours. We ask that you respect them and the noise levels while staying with us.

I built this cabin to be a romantic, cozy off-grid getaway for humans , but if most of our guests are being honest, the dogs are the ones having the best time.
There’s a cozy queen bed with fresh linens and a down duvet. A covered deck with handcrafted rocking chairs for sunset views. A private fire area below for campfires and stargazing. LED lighting, a Bluetooth speaker, a Jackery battery bank, clean well water, lanterns, an outdoor shower, and a clean outhouse. I’ll even haul your gear in by ATV so you can settle in without the hassle.
And after all that work, most guests still seem to agree on the real highlight:
Watching their dogs absolutely lose their minds with happiness.
More than anything, this place has become a favourite for people who want to give their dogs the kind of freedom they rarely get anywhere else. Most of our guests tell us over and over, that their favourite part is watching their best friends make their own decisions, run the trails, sniff everything, chase chipmunks, explore the forest, and basically have the time of their lives.
Of course, the humans tend to enjoy themselves too.
The cabin sits on a west-facing cliff on our private 164-acre property. Once you arrive, you’ll have the feeling of having the whole place to yourselves. The trails, the forest, the quiet, the sunsets, it all feels wonderfully removed from the usual noise.

Weekend Trip to Agape Gardens | Nature Stays
We really enjoyed our time at Agape Gardens. Everything was super clean in the cabin. The House of Leo was super cute and extremly private. We choose Agape Gardens for the close proximity to the luskville trails and would absolutely stay again. We also chose the firewood bundle which I high recommend, there was plenty of wood, kindling and paper for a 3 hour large fire for one night and having it right there upon arrival was so convenient. We arrived late and left early for the trails but there were so many amenities that I am already looking forward to my next stay. Thank you Jennie!

We loved this place so much! The overlooking patio, dock and beautiful swimming lake were the best. All the amenities made camping that much more convenient. If felt very private and so nice for the dog to be free to roam off leash for our stay. I was concerned a bit about proximity to the road, but it really was not an issue for us. We hope we can come back next year!

We had a lovely time at Neal's hipcamp site! Conveniently close to many trail heads and also a very pretty spot to spend the day by the falls. 10/10

would definitely recommend and return to this camp site! We did the spa experience and enjoyed the cold plunge, sauna, and Jacuzzi. Outdoor kitchen was great and stocked with everything we needed. Beautiful space

It was a very cute spot, Elisabeth was a great host. Everything was easy to access, and she has the best and longest lasting firewood we've ever had. Campsite was well maintained and had everything we needed. Cozy and chic.

The lights at night we a nice added touch nice view perfect swimming and kayaking area. Chairs to use and a table and chair set was a nice added touch. Having a BBQ and picnic table plus the added stuff to use in the bin. Plus the washroom was not had to figure out at all over all great camping experience :) would book again

2 nights at New Frontiers Retreat
Third time back! Needless to say, we love it here! The beach is a favourite for the kids. Having kayaks, canoes and paddle boards available with life jackets right at the beach to use gives us lots to do.

1 night at White Wolf Acres
Cabin #1 at White Wolf is a beautiful setup. All the little touches well thought out. It was nice having power to charge devices. The steps and bed height worked well for my sister's minor mobility challenges. We would have liked to stay longer.

Beautiful setting, simple set up in the cabin, stunning forest and views, wonderful area to explore and lovely helpful hosts. I love a place where a few damp dogs aren't a problem AT ALL!

My two kids and I stayed in the Princeton, and it was absolutely perfect! Everything we needed was provided. It was very clean and comfortable and the forest setting was so beautiful and peaceful. We really enjoyed our evening camp fires, swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding, and cycling. They also have peddle cars which both of my boys (5 and 10) loved. Chris and Cathy were so kind and welcoming and very quick to respond to any questions or requests. Chris even took the time to show the boys how to catch and hold the chickens in their coop! We can’t wait to go back and spend more time there as a family.

3 nights at Hidden Gem on Lorwell Lake
Kayaked on a crystal clear lake populated by loons, common mergansers, eagles, around a predominantly natural shoreline where kingfishers and kingbirds flew among the cedar waxwings. Beautiful. Warning: Do not follow Google's directions to take Nolan Road. Follow Hwy 512 to Holly Lane.

2 nights at Lakefront Glamping Retreat
This was our first experience using Hipcamp and my boys and I had the best experience at Monique's property! Absolutely stunning views, and great amenities! Love the glamping experience! Monique was super fast in responding to all my questions and was very helpful. I would highly recommend this space to others and will definitely be back in the future. So close to home but yet felt like we were on a real holiday! Thank you Monique!
