Nice hilly landscape with a maintained private road running across the lot. A windowless bunkie that can sleep 2 upstairs and 2 downstairs is also available for your comfort. A small trail leads you to a long dock off Coe Island Lake, with a red canoe (included). The lake is a limestone sparkling lake, and great for swimming and fishing Small/Largemouth Bass, Perch, and Splake.Please note: the stairway to the dock is assumed and has a steep slope.The town of Bancroft is just 15-20min away.

Tons to do all within a short drive. - Quarry Bay public beach 4 mins - Eels Creek Crownland Parking 3 mins (hike or paddle to High Falls) - Petroglyph Provincial Park 6 mins -There are several public boat launches onto Stoney Lake. - General Store, beer store, LCBO 6km Visit a few of local restaurants both on the lake or off or drive into Peterborough in the summer for the free Music fest concerts in the park on Weds & Saturday nights. Close to the road with cottage traffic during the day but quiet at night. We have security cameras at the entrances to our home however the area you set up in is up the hill and is private. Forested property so be alert for poison ivy & ticks.

CAMP SITE The campsite is located on a lot nestled in trees approximately 1 hour from Toronto. LAKE Canal Lake is a lake of Ontario, Canada, situated in the City of Kawartha Lakes. HISTORIC MONUMENTS The "Hole in the Wall" bridge was built in 1905 and is also known as the Canal Lake Concrete Arch Bridge. It was designed by the federal Department of Railways and Canals. It is located on Centennial Park Road on the southwest side of the Trent Severn Waterway bridge, northeast of Bolsover. The bridge was designated a National Historic Site of Canada in 1988. FISHING Canal Lake is a medium size lake with a large diversity of fishing spots. There is a variety of fish available including largemouth bass, pike and muskellunge (muskie) and an abundance of panfish. EATS AND TREATS • Bolsover is home to the Western Trent Golf Club • Check out Bexley Golf Centre just west of Coboconk & Balsam Lake Provincial Park. They are a Butter Tart Tour stop! •  And we all know how delicious Kawartha Dairy Ice Cream is in the summer sun!
