We are right in the middle of an extensive trail network perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding. Both sites have plenty of space for RVs and trailers - we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. 30 amp Electrical and potable water hookups are available on both sites. WI-FI onsite as well. There is a flush toilet and sink available in our farm store that is available for guest use. No shower yet, but we are working on it! The property is private yet close to all amenities. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks! Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban and we have dry firewood for sale onsite. If you would like firewood send us a message before you arrive. Learn more about this land: Wild Coast has 2 nightly campsites for you to enjoy. Site one is a large, flat open gravel base. And Site 2 is a large, flat grass based site. Please note you must have your own trailer or tent. We’re a 5-10 minute drive to Rathtrevor beach/Parksville, Englishman River. We are right in the middle of an extensive trail network perfect for hiking, mountain biking, horseback riding. Both sites have plenty of space for RVs and trailers - we can accommodate vehicles up to 45ft in length. 30 amp Electrical and potable water hookups are available on both sites. WI-FI onsite as well. There is a flush toilet and sink available in our farm store that is available for guest use. No shower yet, but we are working on it! The property is private yet close to all amenities. Local favorite Rocking Horse Pub is a quick walk next door and a must-stop for dinner and drinks! Centrally located on Vancouver Island, it’s a perfect spot to set up the rig and day trip out to Rathtrevor, Little Qualicum, Parksville, Coombs, Port Alberni valley and Nanaimo, or go for an overnighter in Victoria, Tofino, Mount Washington and the Comox Valley. Campfires are permitted as long as there is no fire ban and we have dry firewood for sale onsite. If you would like firewood send us a message before you arrive. Pets are welcome, but please be responsible for them. There is a large open grass field for you to let them run and burn off that energy. PLEASE NOTE that this is a campsite and the trailers in the photos are not for rent.

Located just a 3 minute walk from Butchart Gardens and a short hike to Tod Inlet, we have 1.5 acres that is about half forested with fir and cedar trees. The rest of the property has many vegetable gardens, orchards, and our ducks. In the past we have hosted many bikepackers on their journeys and now welcome those hiking, bicycle touring, motorcycle touring, or car camping. Our tenting-only sites are all located in the forest and each site has room for up to four people. Water is provided directly at the sites and we provide good quality drinking water as well. Plugs are also available for charging phones and ebikes. A short walk away from the campsites there is a dishwashing/meal prep bench and sink. There is a day hammock to enjoy the forest near the tenting sites. We also have a flush toilet on site. Nearby attractions include Butchart Gardens (3 min walk), Butterfly Gardens (4 min drive), and greater Victoria (about 20-25 minutes away). Swartz Bay ferry terminal is about 20 minutes away (Vancouver, Gulf Islands), the Mill Bay ferry terminal is about 5 minutes away (connects to Mill bay and destinations north of Victoria), the Coho to Port Angeles is about 20-25 minutes away. The nearby village of Brentwood Bay is about a 5 minute drive away and offers a grocery store, pharmacies, various restaurants and cafes, a pub, and other conveniences for your stay.

Van camping in the Nook at Elwha was quiet and peaceful! The hosts were super accommodating of my last minute vehicle change and helped me find a place that would fit a large campervan. The bathroom was warm, which was perfect for showering after a week on the road, but also a bit far from my campsite (an oversight on my part). I’m not sure if this is normal, but both porta-jons near me were locked- didn’t have a chance to ask the hosts about it since I was mostly away during operating hours. Having WiFi was a nice surprise, which helped me stay in the loop about events planned at the fungi festival. Overall, Very nice amenities and hosts!

The property is directly on the shoreline of the Strait of Juan de Fuca….beautiful! Site 2 is spacious. Harrison gave us some fresh eggs from his coop…tasty. He also gave me sound advice to launch from the river channel with my sea kayak to get through the surf zone more easily. We saw seals and a sea otter from shore. A little piece of “heaven!”

Beautiful place……we walked the beach and nearby river. A curious harbor seal followed us off shore popping up and looking at us. Watched a cruise ship go by and the fog bank settle on the Canadian Vancouver shore across the strait.

Tent spot 1 was perfect for a rooftop tent! A couple of sandy places next to the beach would work for a standard. The host came up to us after a bit for the check in, and told us it was good to drive down on the sand. We will likely be back! The sound of the waves of the background knocked us out so good. Highly recommend.

100+ yards of private beach offering panoramic views of the strait and easy access to Tongue Point. A bunch of surfers utulize the day use parking while they catch waves just across the road. Sites are relatively small but each has a concrete pad and a long picnic table. We were there late September and the mosquitoes were crazy.
