Sandbox Campsites

We are located right in the heart of the Slocan Valley just north of Winlaw. Our property is nestled between highway 6, the rail trail & the Slocan River, allowing easy access to all this beautiful valley has to offer. 

Our campsites are easy to access with parking close by. All 6 sites are available for tents, 3 spaces can accommodate small trailers (depending on size & vehicle) and there's 1 spot for an RV. There is a composting toilet/outhouse available, a communal fire pit (firewood not included), and wifi available on the property. 

The camp area is mixed forested/open with more private forested sites available with a very short walk (30-40 meters from parking, tents only). The beautiful rail-trail that runs the entire length of the Slocan Valley can be accessed from the bottom of our property. 

The trail provides easy access to walking, biking, fishing, floating, & swimming along the Slocan River. Downtown Winlaw and the Winlaw Nature Park are a 10-12 minute bike ride south down the rail trail with stunning views and swimming opportunities along the way.

Pets are welcome, but please keep a close eye on them as we are close to the highway and there are animals that frequent the property. We require all pet owners to clean up after their animals.

There is NO garbage collection so please be prepared to pack out what you bring in.
