But if your dog is not friendly or is likely to venture into someone else camping area, than will have to be on a leash. If travelling in a 2wd please contact us before booking, some of the campgrounds have to be reached by crossing the creeks, Girard camp is one of them where the office and the showers are, at times this crossing is under water and is only accessible by 4wd. Other campgrounds are available near the entry gate that don't require a creek crossing for access and toilets are available on some of them. One side of the property is bound by Emu Creek and the other by Girard Creek, both creeks have enough water with some permanent deep water holes for all year activities. Sightseeing inside the property we have Girard Falls, a 50m high waterfall, nature at it's best. In the vicinity you have the Clarence river at Paddy's Flat Road and Hootons Road within minutes drive from the property. The only entry into the property is by Emu Creek Rd a gravel road. Emu Creek Retreat is located in the far north-east of New South Wales. We are approximately 200 km from Brisbane, Toowoomba and Gold Coast, 150km from Byron Bay. Tabulam is the nearest town 12km away. Fuel and groceries are available at Tabulam along with a post office, pub and police station. Casino is 68km away and Tenterfield 78km. Once a working cattle property, in 1993 was converted into a camping and 4WD park. Since 2017 has been a family own and operated property, pet friendly, we are using the existing large camping grounds to convert it into a camping paradise. Two properties combined with close to 2800 acres, fronting Paddy’s Flat Rd for 2km and extends 7km to the back fence bordering a 22000 acre cattle property. The front section is undulating with plantation forest (spotted gum) and bushland, towards the back it has mountains, steep terrain and millions of trees with spectacular views and great hiking tracks.

Having 3-bedrooms and 3 bathrooms it is an ideal place for a relaxing weekend. The cabin has flat ground on 2 sides which allows for additional campers (up to 20 people). In wet weather, 2WD and AWD may need to park a short distance downhill from the cabin. In addition we offer 3 creek-side camp sites which have plenty of room for large groups; they are all situated on well drained, grassy open spaces beside the creek. In wet conditions you will need a 4WD to access these sites. Also in wet conditions they are not suitable for large caravans (in excess of 21 feet) unless you have some serious towing power (Landrover or RAM, for example). Figtree Farm has an abundance of bird and animal life. Here, tranquillity reigns, save for the occasional call of our friendly neighbourhood donkeys and the odd rooster. If you wish to wander further afield, Wiangaree is 15 minutes away and Kyogle is a 30 minute drive south. For those who enjoy a game of tennis there is an all weather tennis court (with lights) nearby at Bundgeam Hall. Amorata Eco Farm is a working sustainable farm with basic camping facilities located in Barkers Vale. We are within easy reach of a number of walking tracks. We are a 40 minute drive from Mebbin National Park, 25 minutes to the town of Nimbin and just over an hour from Byron Bay and plenty of beaches. Enjoy relaxing relaxing around the campfire in our spacious campsites or enjoy a splash or paddle in the small creek. There is drinking water, a hot shower and a compost toilet available for campers. The swimming dam is not chlorinated and acts as habitat for numerous frog species. Please don't expect clear blue water as some algae is a natural part of the ecosystem. A wood fired sauna can be used with assistance from the owner and a fee to cover time and wood to get it going. There are a range of campsites available from the edge of the forest down to creek front sites (4WD only) and in the Pecan orchard. Please check by prior email during the wet season for specific access requirements. Campfires are permitted in the fire pit provided, pending there are no fire restrictions. We can supply seasoned firewood at competitive rates. Friendly pets are welcome, we also have dogs on the property.

Located roughly a half-hour drive outside the township of Beaudesert, the property features four cottages. Camping from $50p/n and our cottages from from $385p/n. Our sunrise campground has 15 large sites, and Ironbark has 9 sites (for group bookings). The property is fully fenced, with spectacular views of Lost World and Lamington National Park. Please note: we DO NOT have $50 rooms! Please note we do not have restaurant on site, so please bring all your food and water with you. If you are camping please ensure you bring all your equipment. We can do up a BBQ packs, cheeseboards, Breakfast - please ask us for pricing. The site is semi-off-grid, with two toilets and two showers. It’s a short walk to the Albert River for swimming, fishing, or searching for crystals. There is a tennis court and playground for children. From our sites, you can see and hear a variety of animals: mini cows, mini donkeys, mini goats, lots of sheep, as well as our camels and alpacas — all very friendly and waiting for a feed and a pat. We have a walking track to the top of the property with breathtaking views of the valley. At night, enjoy stargazing and see the Milky Way like never before. There is a small shop on-site in case you need firewood, drinks, sweet treats or a barista coffee. We can also supply cheese boards and picnic lunches. (Notice of one week must be given)

Soulhaven is set on 50 stunning acres with lovely valley views and bush walks. Lots of grazing cows, abundant bird life, a cute dog and fireside jams 🎶 A short 15 minute drive takes you to Lismore, Kyogle and Casino where you can find shops and grocery stores for all your supply needs. We are professional musicians and love to meeting people. Elphie used to own the iconic Nimbin Rox backpacker hostel, and although Soulhaven is only in its infancy, it still has a relaxed atmosphere. Our favourite part of living at Soulhaven is the daily orchestra of birds! Although you will feel like you’re completely secluded from busy town-life, we are only 15 minutes from the nearest shops. Enjoy a toasty campfire in the evenings where you can sit back and gaze at the stars. There are trail bikes tracks nearby and the iconic Border Ranges is just past Kyogle. This campsite is 2WD friendly and caravans are welcome. You may need to level your caravan for a good night's rest. Your pet, on a lead, is welcome to camp with you. We love animals, but one of the reasons we left suburbia was to get away from barking dogs. If your dog barks at night, or is not we’ll socialised, you’re best to leave pooch at home! Our place is family friendly and we ask that you keep music and noise to a minimum after 10pm.

Located 19 km due east of the famous historical village of Tenterfield the working, cattle breeding, property "Mindoo" has recently opened its gates to campers. Framed by the rugged border range National Parks "Mindoo" is 1100 acres of rolling green hills dissected by the pure, cascading, waters of the Cataract River which provide a number of private riverside campsites. Campers are encouraged to meander along the continually changing River and explore its many secluded swimming holes and enjoy the abundant wildlife that cohabitates with the Angus/Wagyu cow herd. Direct access to the neighbouring National Parks and State Forests offers an array of day trips to hikers, mountain bikers, or horse riders where they can discover the natural treasures of Basket Swamp and Boonoo Boonoo Falls, Woolool Woolooni, among others. For those who require a little more comfort, and lets face it we all do at times, the Mindoo Cabin is available. Featuring three bedrooms, open plan living/dining/kitchen,and a shady deck overlooking the River the cabin sleeps eight and still allows visitors to partake in all the adventures that "Mindoo" offers with the benefit of a comfortable rest when the day is done. Unfortunately horse riding is no longer covered by our insurance policy. You are able to bring your horses, however evidence of your own insurance policy must be provided. Be as adventurous or as restful as you please as both options are freely available. Mountain Biking, Hiking, or just riding your hammock and relaxing we are sure you will enjoy your time at "Mindoo". All of our river sites are designated and are space apart. As most of our sites are on the river and have farm tracks to access, if it is wet we may have to move you to a different site. 4wds are recommended for all sites and are required for some site. Please read the listing for the campsite you are wanting to book. Some of our sites do not suit caravans. All roads require high clearance vans. If you do not like dogs or your own dogs are not very sociable Mindoo may not be the place for you. Daisy the Doodle (Golden Retriever/Poodle) and Paul the Pig Dog (a very gentle Bull Mastif/Catahoula) like to come and say hello to campers at The Park & The Junction. Excellent !!! The tiny home was fantastic. Neat and tidy. The property is absolutely beautiful. Most relaxing 4 days. We did a family camping trip with family who don’t like camping, they stayed in the tiny home while the rest of us camped next to it. Highly recommend. Would be even better if the tiny home had some sort of awning as it rained and we all huddled inside.

We stayed at the Sweet water cabin and it was amazing. The cabin is nested at the end of the valley on top of a hill with amazing views and only wildlife to keep you company. Extremely peaceful area and well thought out cabin with spacious common area and large rooms. We loved every minute of it anf will be looking to return. The owners are very responsive via the app and easy to communicate. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at Undercliffe Farm. The cottage was cozy and had all the necessities - plus a nice warm shower. The fenced backyard was perfect for our pooch to stretch his legs, and the kids loved feeding the goats. There was also plenty of room for the kids to run around and play, and the walk down to the little waterfalls and lookout was very pleasant. However, if you find a mobile phone on a future swim, be sure to let us know 🤣

Incredible views of the river, access to kayaks and canoes and wildlife in abundance. We saw Greater Gliders, Bilbies, Wild Boar (babies! Super cute), Pademelons, Kangaroos, Platypus and Turtles. The bell tents were beautiful with comfy beds. Spectacular stay.
