This beautiful spot was re-forested with pine a number of years ago, and was sectioned off from the surrounding farmland, which is now maintained by the mennonite community. It is 8 1/2 acres of wetland and forest, with a mown perimeter, and cool places to tuck into the forest for the night. The current owner was a special educator, and now is slowly turning the land into her homestead. There is a beautiful, spa quality outdoor shower next to a tidy and 'fancier than most' outhouse, a strawberry patch as well as wild alpine strawberries all over the property, a big dog and a small indoor cat keep her company. Here is what the land offers: -Bunkie in the Forest: A sweet 8x8 ft. space with new bunk and mattresses as of April 2023 -Strawberry Fields bunkie: an 10x12 space with a loft with a queen memory foam mattress and a main floor with a full futon and a small table -Campsites: Meadow, Forest and River spots. Close to each other, but you'd never know it! All three are chill and serene places. The property backs onto a ten-foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the Saugeen River. -RV Spot: With electric hook up ideal for RVs 30 feet and under -a connection to the organization, 'Black Folks Camp Too'! Welcoming to all!!!!! So much to see and do in the area!

This sweet space is 8x8 ft. There is a queen futon with a single bunk above. It has electricity and a safe space heater for when it's really chilly! You will feel that you are deep in the forest, but your car and all the other amenities are steps away!

This is a beautiful, very private bunkie with a loft. A queen sized mattress is made with care up a secure ladder, with a double futon and a small table on the main floor. It is insulated, and has a dyson heater to keep you warm on those chilly nights. It is currently powered with solar panels, and will be adding a small windmill for those non sunny days! Your own fire pit with a fancy grate that also has supports for hanging pots and a rotisserie that would hold two full chickens to roast! A nice walk through the forest to all amenities. Come give it a try!

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place to stay. This cozy two bedroom lower level suite offers newly renovated space to unwind after a day of hiking, swimming, or canoe/kayaking. Though you have a terrific bathroom with a huge tub/shower for soaking the day, you also have access to an outdoor shower! There is a firepit to sit by to roast your marshmallows or pop some corn. A couple of big friendly dogs live in the log cabin above your apartment with your host. Come visit!

This is a special opportunity to bring your RV and spend a night in the forest! The hookup is connected to my own log cabin. You'll be close to the main fire pit and outhouse. You will have a quiet and peaceful place to enjoy what nature provides. There is a swimming hole on the back of the property, and wonderful hiking trails in the area.

This is a very chill and serene place run by a Mom type. It is re-forested pine that backs on to the Saugeen River. There is a ten foot swimming hole in an otherwise shallow part of the river. Winter is brilliant with snow shoeing, cross country skiing (bring your own) and a short drive to funky and fun places to eat. In the Spring you can find fiddleheads if you’re adventuresome! Stars and fireflies await you here, as well as smiles and kindness.

Coziest Outdoor Weekend Getaway!!

Pine the Sky bunkie in the forest!

We had an amazing time here for a cozy little getaway. The property was beautiful, the hosts were great. The little cabin was cozy comfortable. It was all great to go visit Hoggs Falls and Eugenenia Falls which was super fun. Thank you for an amazing weekend. We really hope to return soon.

Pine the Sky Campsites

We tent camped at river site. The site was a great a walk from parking. We had ample spots to pitch, and a great angle for watching the sunsets, and to have a mellow rise in the morning. The fit pit is great and the cooking rack matched perfectly. The Host was a gem, Perfect, very easy and and fun to boot. Will be booking again. We booked this site as it seamed the closest To Devils Glen Provincial Park, and closer to to rock climbing parking spot at Devils Glen. It allowed for a direct route through Fllesherton that has a couple great coffee and take away breakfast options.

Pine the sky is hands down one of the best campsites l've ever stayed at. From the moment we arrived, our host Joan, made us feel completely comfortable and at home. She's super friendly and puts a lot of care into making the campsite special. The site itself is stunning- nestled in nature with a trail that leads to a breathtaking view of the river. The space was clean, peaceful and perfectly set up for a relaxing escape or an adventure packed weekend. We highly recommend Pine the Sky!!

I loved the cabin and its rustic vibe! Joan was a great host and was always there helping us with anything we needed. We stayed in the bunkie but even the campsites are far very secluded and gives a lot if privacy!

We stayed at the Strawberry Fields Bunkie during Easter weekend and we had a great time despite the chilly weather. Joan was very gracious host. The property is big and very private; will definitely come back.
