1. CAPACITY - We are able to host only a single campsite comprising a single tent or caravan for no more than two nights duration only. This will ensure compliance with NSW State Govt regulations that are policed heavily by Eurobodalla Shire Council. Please do not plan to erect a second tent – this may result in a fine that we will pass on to you. We apologise if this prohibits your larger family and small group from enjoying our property (which we strongly believe should be permitted.
2. SITE AMENITIES - The camp is best suited to adventurous campers with swags, tents, rooftops, light camping trailers and small popup caravans. There is a flushing toilet, a hot shower, running (dam) water, and firepits but no electricity or refrigeration. We have fire pits available for guests use, please ensure there are no restrictions in place before lighting a campfire in the designated firepit. FREE FIREWOOD is available on site.
3. ROAD ACCESS - The last couple of km of dirt track are undulating and dusty, but perfectly fine for all vehicles in dry conditions. Access and exit will become challenging for larger motorhomes and caravans, heavy camping trailers and 2WD vehicles (especially front-wheel-drive), after periods of heavy or prolonged rain. We will refund your booking fee if you choose to cancel, or we close the property, due to the weather (it will need to be bad for us to close the property, so you won’t want to be there anyway). Please message us in advance for advice if you are concerned about the weather or vehicle access.
4. PETS - Well behaved pets are welcome but must be controlled and cleaned up after.

It's only a 20 min drive from Batemans Bay. If you need supplies you can also travel by boat into Batemans Bay and tie up to many of its wharfs for that different experience.
The iconic Nelligen Pub only a 10-15 min drive away is a local favourite for hearty meals, pizzas and a great range of tap beers, with takeaway available if you prefer to enjoy dinner back at your campfire. Just nearby, Riverside Café is ideal for fresh coffee, breakfast or a casual lunch in a peaceful riverside setting.
The camping area is surrounded by walking tracks and over the Christmas period the renowned Clyde Berry Farm is open where you can pick your own fresh berries or relax on the grounds for a ice-cream.
You will find Shallow Crossing is also just a 10 min drive up the River Road for an exhilarating swim in fresh mountain water.
The traditional water side camp kitchen offers a BBQ and table to eat. Has power and lighting, fresh drinking water, toilet, hot and cold shower and plenty of cover. With a fire pit just outside for toasting of marshmallows this makes for the best camping spot in the region.
Please be mindful this is a camping and caravaning experience, there is for your convenience a flushing toilet (bring own toilet paper).
This site has its own concrete boat ramp making a heaven for all fisho's and skiers. The ramp is totally safe to launch any watercraft. With water onsite you can even flush motors at the end of the day.

If you love markets, you're in luck! There are plenty of local markets in the area, including the Moruya Country Markets which are held every Saturday. You can also visit the Moruya Farmers Market, held on Tuesday afternoons, or the nearby Tilba Market, held on Saturday mornings.
The tiny nearby town of Bodalla boasts a magnificent dairy with cheese tasting (try the lemon myrtle!) and interactive calf feeding daily at 10am and 4pm. If you want a few pints and great meal, the ribs at the Adelaide Hotel are magnificent (although only available seasonally) and a courtesy bus is available from the entrance to the property.
There are plenty of tourist attractions to explore in the area, including the stunning Eurobodalla National Park, the historic town of Mogo and the renowned Mogo Zoo. For those who love the outdoors, the Moruya river is perfect for fishing, kayaking and swimming.

THE IMPORTANT STUFF:
ACCESS: As you enter the property, you'll find yourself driving down an unsealed dirt road, before embarking on approx 100 meters of fairly flat to gently sloping paddocks. We recommend 4WD or AWD vehicles to access, however will leave this to your discretion.
PETS: We are a working farm with horses and cows that are easily spooked and we only allow dogs under very (very) special circumstances. Please send an enquiry if you wish to bring a furbaby along, but as a rule, we do not allow dogs on the property.
AMENITIES: There are no drinking water or electricity provisions on site.
There is a toilet provided with walking distance to all sites. Our future campers and native wildlife request that you keep your business contained to onboard toilets, porta potties or the toilet provided. Under NO circumstances are toilet cassettes to be emptied in or around the river or campsites.
RIVER ACCESS: Our large sites offer sweeping views and great fishing however the banks are raised and will require some tenacity if you wish to swim or pop a kayak in. You can however moore small watercraft including boats & jetskis after putting them in at the boat ramp a short drive up the river.
FENCING: We have farm fencing in place between the camp sites and the river bank, however we advise small children be monitored as there are several open access points along the riverbank. As mentioned, we are a working farm using gates and fences to contain our livestock. As a rule, leave all gates as you find them (eg: if you open a gate, close it after you. If its already open, leave it open)
WILDLIFE: You'll see huge wombat holes all along the river bank - although tempting for the kids, please refrain from digging these out further as our wombats still use them as houses and they contribute to riverbank erosion. You may be lucky enough to catch a glimpse of our fabled red stag in the evenings and will see an array of beautiful birds and other native animals that share our property. Please note: Any form of animal cruelty will not be tolerated and there is no hunting allowed on the property.
*FIRES: Govt / weather restrictions permitting.
Mabe lit in designated firepit areas only - BYO Firewood.
A small wood pile is provided to each camp on arrival to get you started and provide a modest fire for the night, however chopped firewood is available by the bag or wheelbarrow on a cash basis. $25 for a large bag - $50 for a barrow.

A flat paddock in the Mogo township beside a seasonal creek and surrounded by mostly bush. We have a small farm with chooks, ducks, bees and pigs plus a variety of wildlife such as birds, lizards and kangaroos. A great place to base yourself to explore the Batemans Bay region.
Ask us about extras available including seasonal produce, fresh honey, fires and firewood availability and farm tours - these will need to be booked in person pending availability.

Dog friendly. You'll need to have your own amenities and leave no trace.
Campfires permitted in a designated area only. Wood supplied for a fee. No collecting of wood on property without consent.
Plenty of birds and native wildlife and very close to state forest for activities such as bush walking, mountain biking, bird watching, or gold panning. Check out the recently opened mountain bike tracks - https://www.trailforks.com/region/mogo-trails/

Moruya caravan park is amazing. Start from communication regarding your location. Always respond with one hour and happy to help you out. Second- water front side- amazing, quiet and clean. Whole caravan park is very clean including amenities. Laundry- so easy to use using your card to pay. No hustle with coin.
We were there in winter- so if you want to have an amazing glass of wine next to fire 🔥, you can get a pit with bag of wood in the reception. Enjoy yourself

Lisa & Ross have a stunning property, it’s perfect for all to stay- families, individuals and groups of friend’s! I was there on a girls trip and my friend could bring her doggies along too. Ross provided us with heaps of firewood for only $15 per night and the communal area/ amenities were all very clean and easy to find. Would highly recommend and will hopefully be back there sometime 🔥🏕️

A wonderful spot run by really nice people. Ross and Lisa have a great spot on the river. Power and water are provided and there is easy access to the water for boats and swimming. The perfect getaway and only a few minutes on a well graded dirt road from Batemans Bay

This is our second time staying at the Clyde River Campgrounds. It's the most stunning, tranquil camp area we've ever found. The sites are well dispersed, dead level and absolutely river front. The entire area is lush, well kept grass with not a prickle to be seen. There are some sites with power and water and also unpowered sites. The facilities are basic but well kept. It's also dog friendly 🐕 and camp fires are allowed (fire restrictions permitting) 🔥. There's even a concrete boat ramp for those wanting to launch straight onto the river.
Ross and Lisa are super friendly hosts and great for a chat about local attractions in Batemans Bay and surrounds
This is our all time favourite spot since getting our first camper about 9 years ago and travelling in SA, VIC and NSW.

This camping spot is just beautiful, we just relaxed in the sun and shade. Took the SUP for a splash, water was just right, the facilities were good, and not many other campers close by unlike the big parks. We will definitely be back with our boat next trip

The powered site I rented was nice and peaceful, the camp kitchen was nice, clean and fully stocked with appliances. The amenities were clean and accessible. The walk to the beach was incredible and felt like it was a private beach once I got there.
