We had a fantastic stay at Hipcamp and would happily return. The property is beautiful, with spacious sites that are thoughtfully spread out, so you never feel crowded. The lake was a real highlight. I even enjoyed a swim, and there was plenty of space for walking, running, and getting some exercise in a stunning natural setting. It’s also a wonderful spot for families. While we visited outside the peak summer season, we could easily see how much fun kids would have with the lake activities and open spaces available during the warmer months. What impressed us most was the customer service. We had an issue with our power inverter not working, and the team couldn’t have been more helpful. They quickly moved us to a powered site and didn’t charge us any extra. That level of service was greatly appreciated and made our stay completely stress free. Incredibly spacious sites. Huge fire pit. Beautifully maintained grass area and giant lake for kayaking etc. Slip and slide and water trampoline for the kids as well as a great playground. We were on site 8 and still have a water view. We will be back again!

We loved Lagoon Lane. Although it was on the road leading to the big lake it was beautiful and quiet. The view was really lovely and relaxing. We will definitely be back.

We really loved this hip camp. The owners have done a fantastic job at keeping it tidy and maintained. Very relaxing stay. The lake is beautiful, we would love to go back in summer. The owners drop off firewood making it very convenient.

I loved the space, no one is camping on top of each other. U dont hear other people talking. Plenty of fires for winter. Fully grassed area so no need for ground cover sheets. Water options with dogs allowed.

Our stay at Lakeview was most enjoyable so much so that we wanted to extend but unfortunately for us there was a wedding booked on the area beside where we were setup. Our two Jack Russell dogs enjoyed their long walks around the lake and a roll on the mostly grassed area. Each morning we were visited by the local magpies followed by a pair of kookaburra and again each evening. We enjoyed sitting around our camp fire each night watching the beautiful sunsets. Thank you Belinda & Shane. We will be back when next up from Victoria.

We have stayed at Lakeview several times over the years and it's still one of our favourite local camping spots. Always clean and tidy plenty to do and dog friendly too. Such a great spot for a relaxing weekend away - we'll definitely keep coming back.

It was great being able to camp so close to the beautiful lake and watch the many waterbirds. Our Jack Russell dog loves the water and could swim as much as he wanted. The lawns are well maintained and were great for a soccer game with our JR.

Great spot and property well maintained. You camp right on the lake so very peaceful. Lots of water activities although we didn't swim due to the weather so we had a nice little fire and when the rain came in spent about 2hrs playing pool so was the perfect night getaway for us.

We loved our week spent at Lakeview. Despite rain nearly every day the area is well grassed and kept immaculate. We did get to enjoy our campfire watching the stars. Giving way to tortoises and geese was a great laugh. The areas provided are massive and it is so peaceful and quiet. It is very family orientated and has a wonderful playground for children with kayaks and row boats to use. There are also water slides which would be awesome in summer. We are elderly so loved the serenity of bird life on the lakes. We will be back for sure.

Had such a peaceful little stay at Area 5A. The spot felt really calm and private, tucked right by the water with beautiful natural surroundings. We loved how simple and relaxed it was, just being out there with nature, listening to the birds and enjoying a quiet campfire. It’s a great spot if you’re after a slow, easy escape not too far from Brisbane. The site is unpowered and best suited to being self-sufficient, but everything was as described and easy to settle into. Stayed with my two dogs (on lead) and they had the best time exploring and soaking it all in 🐶🐶 Such a lovely, laid-back place to unwind, we’d definitely come back 🤍🐾
