We had a wonderful stay at Lakeview Beachmere and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The location was beautiful and peaceful, and it was such a lovely place to relax and unwind. Everything was comfortable and well looked after, and we really appreciated the welcoming atmosphere. We had an incredible time and would happily stay here again. What an absolutely fantastic hipcamp! We are a family of 4 with our doggo in our self contained 16ft caravan. There are no facilities at this camp, easy access, level. We stayed 3 nights and honestly would have stayed longer, the idea was to have it as a base and explore Brisbane and Bribie Island. We didn't leave the camp the entire 3 days! Fantastic activities on offer, slip n slide into the lake, provided canoes and kayaks, tree swings into the water, pump track for bicycles (although I think it's meant for motorbikes), extremely well kept grounds, beautiful spacious grassy sites, very relaxing and peaceful. This has by far been our favourite hip camp we have stayed at.

Camped on Area 2. Level big site which will accommodate at least 3 vans comfortably. Highly recommend Lakeview. The owners keep the grassed short and rubbish bins provided at the entry. Paddle boats scattered around the lake for guests use.

Lakeview is a wonderful spot for short or long stays. Area 4 was roomy enough for 4 vans with plenty of space to spread out. We all enjoyed the sunsets sitting around the fire pit and then watching the stars come out.. This was our second time staying at Lakeview and our friends have stayed multiple times. We will all be back again. Thank you Belinda and Shane for sharing your beautiful spot.

Camped at site #6. The area has been well look after. By the river, little bit of privacy behind trees. My first time here. So quiet, so peaceful.. needed the re set and after 2 days of camping in area #6, I am now definitely re set. I will 100% and already planning next trip. Belinda and Shane communicated well answering any questions I had about trip.. Will be returning and would highly recommend.

I loved tent camping at Lakeview. The sites are beautiful and big, giving you plenty of privacy. Birdlife is varied and plentiful. Watching the water while drinking a cold one was a highlight. Prepare for sandflies and you won't have a problem.

We will definitely be coming back. We camped in the corner on the lake in area 6. Nice grassy spot, fire pit and plenty of room between campers. Top location to explore Beachmere, Bribie Island and Sandstone Point from. Not sure how the mosquitos might be in warmer months.

Very relaxing place, peaceful and the location is fantastic. Close to shops and beach. You must be fully self contained as there are no amenities or water hook up, but there is a water filling station if needed. We have stayed at this place on numerous occasions and will go back. The hosts Shane and Belinda are welcoming, helpful and responsive to questions asked. All in all it's a Fantastic place.

This was my first time staying at a place in hipcamp, i would recommend lakeview, because it was easy access and directions to get to the camp. The campsite was left clean and there was many things to do in the area around it and things to do at camp. Had an amazing time and would reccomend.
