Wollemi Ridge Retreats is a secluded bush property in Bilpin, on the edge of Wollemi National Park in the Blue Mountains. Surrounded by native forest and ridgeline views, it offers a quiet, off-grid escape for those looking to slow down, reconnect with nature, and spend time outdoors. Guests stay in separate, thoughtfully spaced glamping setups, including safari tents and tipis, each positioned for privacy while still being part of the wider retreat environment. Inside, you’ll find comfortable beds with quality linen, simple furnishings, and soft lighting. Designed for a grounded, comfortable stay. We also offer our unique outdoor bunk setup for groups of up to six, evoking a sense of shared experience and the simplicity of an open-air sleepover. At the centre of the property is a communal area with a fully equip kitchen, dining space, and lounge where guests can cook, eat, and gather. There is a shared fire pit, along with communal bathroom facilities including hot showers and toilets. The surrounding bushland invites you to explore, walk, or rest at your own pace. We also offer optional day experiences, including bush walks and seasonal nature-based activities. Wollemi Ridge can be experienced in different ways. Our Grounded Getaway is a flexible, self-guided stay, while our hosted bush retreats offer fully catered stays with meals and guided experiences included. Designed exclusively for couples, this cabin-style tent provides the perfect balance of comfort and outdoor adventure, allowing you to unwind in nature without sacrificing luxury. The spacious king-size bed sits at the heart of the tent, inviting you to sink into high-quality bedding for a restful night’s sleep. This can be separated into two single bed, please just let us know ahead of time. With mosquito netting and canvas doors on both sides, you can enjoy a cool, natural breeze on warm summer nights while listening to the gentle sounds of the bush. Inside, the tent is thoughtfully outfitted with a plush mattress, oversized bath sheets, head torches, and soft ambient lighting and fairy lights for the added touch of magic, creating a cozy and inviting retreat. In the cooler months, the Kookaburra camp is equip with a small fireplace to keep you toasty. Perched on a raised platform, the tipi features a window overlooking the escarpment and creek and an adjacent window for a through breeze. Inside, you’ll find luxury bedding in either a king size or 2 single bed layout, along with a solar powered battery to power ambient lights and a fan on those balmy nights and a wood burner for the colder evenings. Guests have access to shared facilities, including a communal kitchen, dining and lounge area, hot showers, compostable toilets, and a fire pit for evenings under the stars. We’ve thought of all the little things you need while glamping, so you can simply arrive, unwind, and enjoy the calm simplicity of life in the bush.
