Sylva Lagoons is a 570 acre beef cattle and native timber producing farm, which we, Pete and Elaine bought seven years ago, for somewhere beautiful and peaceful for our retirement. It is so beautiful living here we thought we should share it. If you are booking to join us, please give a rough eta so we can be at the campground to welcome you The lagoon at the campground is over 10 acres of water, with native forest on three sides. It is great for canoeing or bushwalking and our bird life is spectacular. No phone or internet since 3G was removed. Sorry! Dog friendly - with limitations. Flushing disabled toilet available. Good access for 2WD. Campfires permitted in a designated area and firewood available for a donation to cut it all. CRITICAL! As we are farmers we need to know your ETA. Please advise us your ETA before arrival so we can be there to greet you.

Sylva Lagoons Camp
We had a fabulous 2 nights at Sylva Lagoons. The grounds and amenities are kept beautifully by Peter and Elaine, it’s a credit to them. The lake itself is brimming with birdlife, so lovely to watch over our campfire in the evening. Situated quite close to Casino and also drives to surrounding areas. We would thoroughly recommend to others and hopefully return ourselves.

Sylva Lagoons Camp
The hosts, Peter and Elaine, are simply great people. And as a solo traveller, they made me feel very welcome. The place was beautiful (February) and quiet, so it was a peaceful experience altogether for me, with rainwater shower and a walk through their forest to learn about the trees... I would return again without a doubt. Highly recommend to solo travelers for peace of mind and a peaceful camp!
