The property is situated in an elevated spot, 5km north of the popular federation town of Tenterfield. We have 3 camp sites to choose from depending on your needs, with plenty of space in between to allow you to have a peaceful and relaxing stay. One booking per site allowed so you have the entire area to yourself (and your camp pals) and you are not tripping over the next campers tent pegs. Branch Creek forms the southern boundary of the property while Tenterfield Creek is the western boundary. The property has a number of granite ridges. There are many popular wineries in the region, while Tenterfield has some great cafes and pubs, excellent shopping and is home to the Tenterfield saddler. For nature lovers and bushwalkers, Boonoo Boonoo and Bald Rock National Parks are a short drive up Mt Lindesay Road. Camping areas are accessible by a normal sedan type vehicle. We want our property to provide a peaceful retreat for those using it: - no hunting, motorbikes or 4WDing permitted. We are an off grid location so campers will need to bring their own shower/toilet/water and take all rubbish out when leaving. Camping is available during Queensland School Holidays and other times as indicated in calendar. What a gorgeous property! Alyson is a wonderful host and we loved our stay. Five minutes from town and the view is stunning. Highly recommend.

Great spot. Excellent views. Easy access to water from creek 2 kms down the road and fire wood is accessible 10 mins from the bush up the road. Close to town. Can get a bit windy at the top but can’t beat the views. Only drawback, if you can call it that, is that it is close to the hosts accommodation but they were lovely and no bother. Really reasonably priced too. Thanks, we had a great stay hope to visit again.

We had a lovely stay at this campsite: although it took us a little while to find the gate, the hosts were lovely and brought us to a well-maintained, private site (closest campers were hundreds of meters away, secluded by trees and hills). If they would like to allow campfires, would recommend established spots/fire pits. All in all, a 10/10 experience.

Absolutely loved this site. We stayed down by the creek it was very private and secluded . The owner Alyson was super lovely and very accomodating . Will 100% be coming back :)

Perfect for off grid camping. Stunning views, gorgeous sunsets amazing stars at night, quiet. We had the whole place to ourselves. A great place to escape the summer heat with beautiful days and cool night time temperatures. No cows, livestock or flies. A short drive to Tenterfield and National Parks which are great for hiking. Well definitely be back!

Alyson and her husband Robin made us feel right at home from the moment we drove through the gate. The sites were level and mowed and very easy to set up on with our 16 foot van. The campsite is but a 5 minute drive to Tenterfield which makes this off grid camp very convenient indeed. We had a lovely three day stay thanks to our hosts. I recommend this camp site and it’s lovely hosts to other campers.
