Weekend Trip to "Elysium Heritage Farm"

My wife and two dogs stayed one night at the farm camp. Had a great experience with this tent/rv site. Very quiet and private and had some unexpected amenities like a bathroom and grill for our use. A beautiful piece of property with trails and animals to interact with. Thanks for a great stay!

Loved this place. Clam and pleasant. Felt like healing , its very peaceful. Spacious enough, you wont be disturbed at all. Will surely visit again.

The property was beautiful had great views a great place just to get away plenty of trails two adventure the host chip was very friendly and made my family and myself feel like we belong there definitely can't wait to go again.

The farm is a nice peaceful place to stay. Very nice compost bathrooms and plenty of firewood for 20 dollars. Easy directions would recommend for sure.

Kevin and Lori were gracious hosts! It's a beautiful property, and we were grateful to be able to stay there for a few days in late April before the camping season begins in earnest. I would highly recommend!

1 night at Riverside Retreat

Camping on Jason’s land went super smooth! Instructions were clear and the land was gorgeous! How can you beat camping on a river?? Jason gave me my choice of sites since I was the only one there and it was so hard to decide they were all so pretty! They’re was plenty of fire wood and lots of room for my dog to run around, wildlife was minimal and I came at the right time of year! Fishing was plentiful in the river and nearby lake. The outhouse was an exceptionally wonderful treat from what I’m used to, besides the fact that I didn’t have any service, which didn’t really bother me, I rather enjoyed being able to fully unplug for a day and reconnect with nature. This area is the perfect get away! I will be back!! Thanks Jason for such a wonderful experience:))

Weekend Trip to CUT RIVER CABIN AT HIGGINS LAKE

The cabin is very cute and cozy, and nice to be disconnected. I took my dog for her first ever canoe ride, we did some hiking, enjoyed the sauna, looked at the stars, saw a bald eagle. Truly a little slice of heaven and a very special space. Looking forward to returning in the future

3 nights at Sherman City Acres

Megan was quick to respond to any questions! We stayed at Whispering Waters campsite over Easter weekend. This campsite can accommodate two travel trailers and there's lots of room. The area down by the river is spectacular! We definitely want to come back again to enjoy the site during warmer weather. This place is a gem!

1 night at "Elysium Heritage Farm"

I’’ve stayed at few hip camps and it always surprises me at how hospitable the hosts are and all of the extras an amenities that they offer. There is quite a bit of expense and time and effort that goes into creating a great place to stay, maintaining an on going camp and providing a camp that is coarse and set up to go when you arrive. The level of preparation and provision certainly exceeded my expectations. From the amount of and quality of hardwood wood provided, including kindling, was a great value. The prep area, trashcan, take, table cloth on the picnic table, and a clean outhouse and general tradition meds of the drive and area were all greatly appreciated. The place is a work in progress and I lol forward to what it becomes. I stayed in the vines sight because h a a camper of sorts. The cabin on the little pond looks very cool and would be a great place to hang out with friends and family.. Very interesting place to explore. The little pond with canal that connects the big pond is a pretty cool feature, along with the covered bridge. The animals an the farm were also pretty cool. The farm site is very inventive and also seems like a great spot to hang out with F&F. Definitely one of the hippest hip camps and worth a visit!

13 nights at Chippewa Henge Camp

Excellent place to camp, I tent camp when I travel and it was peaceful and primitive. Close to town, great host, nice lake. I loved it and, would camp there again.

2 nights at Sherman City Acres

The site was perfect! Lots of room for hanging out and the river is only a short walk away. We weren’t planning on a snow storm as we were arriving at the site but the host was super helpful and brought us some dry firewood so we could get our fire started and warm up. If you are looking for a nice quiet campsite with lots of room and plenty of wilderness, this is a great spot. The host was also super responsive to any questions I had prior to our trip. We look forward to checking out some of their other sites this summer.

4 nights at "Elysium Heritage Farm"

We had an absolute blast, even though the weather wasn't exactly perfect! Honestly, I can't complain at all – our spot was simply stunning, and Kim, our host, was incredibly accommodating. We spent our days wandering through the woods while the kids joyfully played with the goats. The campground was set up beautifully and offered a nice private retreat for us to unwind. Evenings were magical as we roasted marshmallows around the campfire, sharing laughs and stories. One morning, I was thrilled to spot a family of deer gracefully moving through the trees during my walk. It was such a serene experience, and we all agreed that we would love to return for another adventure!

Weekend Trip to Riverside Retreat

We loved camping out at Jason's cabin! After 70° weather, we were surprised with some snow for the majority of our stay. The cabin kept us very warm and there was plenty of fire wood pre-stacked for our use. The Chippewa River was gorgeous and the cut-trails were easy and fun to explore. It truly feels like a safe haven, an oasis out in nature. Jason responded quickly to any questions we asked him during our stay. Highly recommend!!

Another fantastic time at Elysium! We love this property, so peaceful and expansive. So many places to fish and hike. Also they just had baby goats!! So cute!! Highly recommended.

Wanderers Hideaway was a cute and cozy place with the most fitting name! My boyfriend and I both thought it was the perfect place for a simple weekend stay with a taste of the outdoors. The electric fireplace maintained the cozy and comforting vibe especially during the winter, and having a small kitchenette was very useful for making our meals! Cindy and Travis have a very well thought out little place, with a cute guestbook everyone should make sure they sign!!

I loved staying here it was great to step away from the modern world and into all manual water and wood burning stove. I only stayed one night though so staying another night might be too much work nonetheless was a very pleasant experience. I should have taken a brighter lantern for more lighting. Definitely having headlamps helps for walking to the outhouse at night. Overall loved it and would like to come back in the summer I didn’t stay long enough to get a chance to try out the sauna.
