Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad (No longer has bathroom facilities) Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. Blackwood Ridge Nature Park is situated on the Roebank property and as party of the first settlement in this area, both Roebank and the neighbouring Peninsula House have historical significance in Bridgetown. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. In the early days, Roebank was used for livestock grazing and had the largest shearing shed this side of Bridgetown used by the neighbouring farmers. Over the years the property has been used as a pear orchard, goat farm and other small farming activities. Today the property operates as a family hobby farm with short-stay accommodation along the river residences and nature park sites on the high points offering scenic views of the valley.

After searching for a quiet spot away from other people for us and the dogs, hubby and I found the absolute perfect spot for a chill getaway. Extremely private with the just sounds of nature to calm the soul. Only a short walk to the dam for the dogs to have a good swim too. We loved it. Graeme was the perfect host and even brought us the paper in the morning. Thank you for letting us stay, you might just see us again xx

Camping under tall trees overlooking vineyards with only a few other well spaced sites made for a lovely place to stay and base ourselves for the Margaret River region. Great wine tasting offered to guests at 3:30 every afternoon and our dog was welcome. Very friendly staff. Also a great brewery next door with a short course golf driving range complete with barrels in a dam to aim for on the edge of the beer garden.

Great that a wineyard offers something like this for campers! I think more should do that. But what was the best about the stay was the complementary wine tasting with Ulf. He is a real character and makes the tasting extra special!

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.

What a magic property - surrounded by State Forrest and only 15 minutes away from Donnybrook which has everything you’d need or forgotten to bring. We look for privacy for our Hipcamp getaways and this camp delivered. Our Border Collie ran off lead all weekend. Woke up to the sound of birds and a beautiful view. We definitely will be back - next time with our Mtn. bikes to explore the many tracks around Thank you Dawn allowing us to stay at your oasis in the bush.

Fantastic spot very handy for the hustle and bustle of Margaret River and Cowaramup but quiet and peaceful. As well as tastings on site (and the wine is fantastic) it's only a short ride or walk to two other wineries and CBCO brewery and a easy drive to many more. The camping itself is peaceful and our hosts were extremely helpful in moving us with no fuss or drama at all when we found someone else incorrectly set up in our spot.

We spent 2 nights here and used it as a base to explore the Collie region. The lake is the best quality water in the Region and access to the water for activities is very good. We had a large Expedition Truck and the sites accommodated this well. All sites had water views and flat surfaces Good shelter and BBQ and fire pit facilites right on the water Host was amazing and given that it is a working farm, security is good.

We had a wonderful stay at Dave’s campsite! The site sits above a beautiful lake, and Dave kindly offered the large shelter area for campers to gather and relax—it was such a welcoming touch. During our stay, we unfortunately lost our son’s glasses in the lake, and Dave went above and beyond by diving in to help search for them. His kindness and generosity made our overnight camping experience truly memorable. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a friendly and scenic camping getaway!
