Weekend Trip to La Fiumara Olive Farm

Nice camp spot on the banks of a dam. Some great areas on the farm to explore. Very dog friendly. Hosts were amazing and super accomodating to kids. The firewood collection rides and feeding the lambs were absolute highlights to a 6 year old.

4 nights at Shukuru Farm, Wellington Forest WA

We ended up staying at Site A and it was absolutely perfect. Personal gate to get in and out without worrying if we are going to come back late or such. Beautiful and quiet with the perfect sunrises over the forest in the mornings. Fiona and Pete were so accommodating and easy to communicate, going above and beyond with updates about the weather and any movement on the property. We can't wait to come back!

Thanks Greg and Andrea for sharing that great spot at Peppermint Tree site and your property in general I highly recommend this site if you like privacy, stunning, and I mean stunning views out to the ocean Had 3 nights there it will be at least 5 next time and there will be a next time The hosts were awesome ( thanks Greg for the drill) communication and directions A+ - good sight for tent and campers - big caravans maybe not There are a few sites for camping however you’d think you were alone and very private and sheltered - this will be a regular spot for us in both winter and summer months - Plenty of firewood to collect no need to bring any - great bird life right next to the dam 15 minutes from Harvey - and those views ! This is a five star hip camp for those who go off grid, just look after it

Weekend Trip to Lewana Campsites

Absolutely stunning place with the friendliest hosts !! We stayed at Running Brook for two nights and enjoyed every moment of it - from check in, where we arrived a little later than we had informed the hosts due to traffic, and the hosts were getting concerned about us, to the friendly nature of everyone we met, including the two dogs !! The facilities are functioning and well maintained, and we loved walking around and seeing all the farm animals and things to do on the site. Not a single bad thing to say, we loved our time and will definitely be coming back 🥰❤️ Thank you !!

We had a perfect stay at Jarvis Estate. The location was ideal to sit in the tranquility of the vineyards and close enough to visit all of them the attractions the region has to offer. Matt is a perfect host and the wines he produces are amazing!! Definitely going to be a regular go to Hipcamp

Weekend Trip to Jarvis Estate Winery & Camping

Lovely spot for camping overnight amongst the vines. I would recommend spots 3-6 as these are away from the main house. It would be good if the sites were cleaned up after people have checked out as the site next to us left quite a bit of rubbish behind. We also arrived back one night to find someone had parked in our site which was frustrating as we had chosen that site when booking but this can happen as again no one seems to be checking the sites (at least not daily). There is complementary wine tasting for guests but just be aware it’s only at 3.30pm daily. We unfortunately arrived back at 4pm as we didn’t see this mentioned anywhere and were informed we had missed it.

3 nights at Amber Ridge Estate

The views were beautiful and it was so nice that we didn’t have to worry about our dog in the enclosed paddock. Nice and peaceful too.

3 nights at Valley views

Make sure you look out for the sign Seniors Farm, this is the turn off to the drive way. There is no designated sites but a big space to find a spot. You can hear road noise quite a bit but it’s not an issue. Fairly level site with some rubble (metal, glass) but ok. Walk trail to the left of the dam which was a lovely walk. Quite private. Lovely to have power and wifi and excellent response from the host. Bin on site but no toilet dump. We had a very relaxing time and so did our pets.

A perfect spot for a quiet retreat. We loved how much open space we had and that it was only us there - the dogs had an absolute ball. Plenty of wildlife around making for a peaceful surround. Rebekah was lovely and very responsive. We will absolutely be back.

Butterflies and dragonfly swarms during are frequent here aswell as Kangaroos and Emus. We are a working vineyard and farm, so there may be some activity and noise during the days. Peaceful Pastures

Peaceful Pastures is set over 9.3 acres. The back 5 acres has a watercourse running through with wild ducks. The neighbours cows visit at times. The front 4 acres has a shed in the centre and 3 caravan campsites. We welcome quiet and considerate campers, who are self-contained with their own facilities. A self-contained fire pit is provided at each of the 3 campsites, for use outside the state fire ban that extends from Nov 1st to May 10th. Firewood may be available, but bringing your own is recommended. There is a small water tank, with rainwater available at the tap. This is to be used minimally at times of no rain and not to be used for car or van washing. We have the odd kangaroo visit the front 4 acres and the ducks like to come through early in the morning and late in the afternoon. There are a number of wild emus in the area, which can often be encountered when driving along the road. There have been 2 snakes (dugites) sighted at the back paddock over the past several years. As the perimeter is mowed regularly, it is most unlikely there will be any at the property. However, if you wish to walk around the back paddock, gumboots are recommended, as a precaution. The front paddock containing the campsites is completely mowed and none have been seen there. The property is located 2.2 km off the South-Western Highway along a quiet, sealed road. Close by is the Kirup Tavern which has well-priced meals, pool tables and dartboards. It's a 15-minute drive from Donnybrook, with shops, restaurants, weekend markets and the Apple Fun Park, and 11 minutes from the tourist town of Balingup.

Killarney Glen Camping

Our 2.5 acre property in Dardanup West is a beautiful green space of mostly level grass with some lovely large shade trees. We are surrounded by other small holdings with farm animals including chickens (and roosters), sheep, horses and cows. We also have lots of wildlife including Kangaroo's, Ducks, Ibis, Black Cockatoos and many other birds frequenting or passing through. We back onto Gavins Gully which is an idyllic creek running through ex-farm land. The creek is a great place to spend time with your children making boats from sticks and leaves and watching them sail away. Or maybe enjoy a picnic by the creek and just relax in the tranquility. There's plenty of happy memories to be made! We get lovely sunsets and if you are up early enough, beautiful sunrises. The evenings are always stunning with dappled light coming through the trees! It is magical and our favourite time of the day when everything is cooling down in summer. Enjoy taking an evening walk by the creek and along the bridal trail or just sitting back and enjoying the sounds of nature with some nibbles and drinks. Make sure to look up at night and soak it all in. Listening to the wind rustling in the trees is one of our favourite sounds and the kookaburras calling in the morning and evenings. We also love to watch and listen to all the different bird callings - you may hear a Boobook owl calling to a mate! We are centrally located to loads of attractions! We provide running bore water by tap and an outdoor kitchen sink by our back fence where you will be camping (cold water only). The water is safe to drink and wash dishes in. There’s a rustic outdoor shower with 2 options. A "rain storm" cold shower (great in summer when the water isn't cold) or a nice gentle hot shower. :) PLEASE KEEP SHOWERS TO 10 MINUTES. Checkout our extras for power and firewood! Please note we live here too so you will see us around and our house can be seen from your campsite. Our kids are free spirited and love coming to say hello! Being ex-farm land, it's generally an open environment, but we don't have neighbours too close by (100m+). We ask that campers don't make lots of noise after sunset and please avoid shining torches towards our home or our neighbours. NOTE: The camp area is in full view of our home, but we try to respect your privacy. Please recommend us to your family and friends and leave us a review at the end of your stay, so we can keep reaching for our goals to make this place even better! Amber Ridge Estate

68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this small, isolated pocket. We have four sites available for self-contained campers, and one site that offers bathroom facilities. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. This site has no facilities, self-contained campers/vans only. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. This site has no facilities. We are only approved for self-contained campers/vans. You MUST bring a toilet with you. Shed Pad with bathroom Shed Pad is a powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed with bathroom facilities, including a flushing toilet. This site is relatively flat, perfect for a couple of tents or two medium/one large caravan. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. Please note, this site has a two-night minimum stay requirement. Base price covers two people.

Valley views

Beautiful valley views only 3 minutes drive from the heart of Dwellingup, set out on 24 acres with shaded areas , open areas, and the full bush surrounding area to choose from. With nearby watering holes and the Murray river only a short drive away this farm stay is one of a kind as it backs onto state Forrest where the Mundi biddi trail runs past. This farm is for the caravaners only no tents or swags, small pets allowed but must be kept close and not roaming free. There are 3 dams close to where you’ll be camping and are not fenced off, so if you’re bringing the kids please be aware of this. There is a strict - no driving around the property rule as there are other occupants on the property aswell as dry grass. And please by all means if you want to take a walk through the bush then that is absolutely allowed and encouraged, but please do so by using the fire break along the fence line for accessing the state forest and taking that Mundi biddi trail experience. If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option. These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available for an additional $10 a per/day There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered. There is also a small fire pit available but only for the cooler months. Contact the host prior to your stay if you wish to use power and wifi. We hope you enjoy your experience and return safely.

Herron Point Farm Stay

Located 5 minutes from the Forrest Highway and less than 10 minutes' drive to the beautiful and popular Herron Point. The farm offers the country lifestyle without travelling for hours. With 54 acres of native bush and pasture, a beautiful dam with an island combined with an abundance of natural wildlife. Come and enjoy the delights. The campsites are private with a fire pit provided and you are welcome to collect wood from around the property. Fires are prohibited between 1st Dec and 31st March inclusive. While the main entrance is on Old Bunbury Road, most campsites are accessed from Dutchman Road. We have invested monies earnt back into the sites by way of limestone all weather tracks, fire pits and irrigation for the warmer months which also helps to mitigate the risk and impact of bushfires. The Northern half of the property is a combination of pasture and native trees, while the Southern half is native bush. Guests are welcome to roam the entire property with the exception of the owner's residence and sheds.

Blackwood Ridge Nature Park

Blackwood Ridge Nature Park is situated on the Roebank property and as party of the first settlement in this area, both Roebank and the neighbouring Peninsula House have historical significance in Bridgetown. The Roebank Cottage was built in 1890 by the grand-daughter of John Septimus Roe who was a famous civil engineer contributing to the original town planning of Perth City and Roebourne. In the early days, Roebank was used for livestock grazing and had the largest shearing shed this side of Bridgetown used by the neighbouring farmers. Over the years the property has been used as a pear orchard, goat farm and other small farming activities. Today the property operates as a family hobby farm with short-stay accommodation along the river residences and nature park sites on the high points offering scenic views of the valley.

Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need.
