We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Please note; this is a very small property where our house and windows face the front patio. We are very quiet and respectful and give you the space as much as possible, but if you want company then let us know. We enjoy chatting, hearing about your travels, playing board games and telling you about nice spots to visit (best free dolphin viewing). The idea is to give travellers a place to pull up, power up, refill, shower, and view the surrounding sights on a budget, rather than a tranquil property to get away too (if you are wanting a solitary, isolated location this is NOT for you as your only privacy is in your vehicle. CCTV in operation). We have travelled extensively and would have liked something simple like this to shower, power, sleep and go (and relax at in-between). Those needing to stay for longer pls chat. NOTE: * CAMPING IS ON DRIVEWAY AT FRONT OF OUR HOUSE. * VERY CLOSE PROXIMITY TO OUR HOUSE. * No children or pets. * No annexes or pegging anything. * Swags and one/two man tents can go under front patio (no pegging). * RV needs to be under 5.5m from tow ball to back or from bull bar to back * No shade over your RV until late afternoon, but patio is lovely and shaded. * No emptying of portable toilets in our toilet. * No charging electric cars, bikes or scooters. * Please collect own waste water. * Free power for charging devices. Power to RV (extra $5 pn) pls provide a 15A adapter and power cord. 25 acres of bushland 130 km's south of Perth, surrounded by state forest with a crystal clear creek running through it 12 months of the year. Secluded and very quiet with abundant birdlife and the occasional kangaroo, emu and echidna's passing through. Pet kookaburras - will eat out of your hand and steal from the BBQ. Located at the base of Logue Brook dam wall, where a short walk makes all water facilities available, plus trout and marron when in season. Adjacent to the Munda Bidi trail, with cycle paths running in every direction. Not to defray the natural environment, only lovers of wild life and serenity are welcome, so no Ghetto blasters or party animals. Laughing, singing, dancing and joking, actively encouraged! Tents, camper vans, small caravans with good drivers and trailers only. PLEASE NOTE: Weeknights require a minimum of 3 nights stay. Weekends 2 nights minimum. We offer a quiet retreat with a rambling Brook,shady trees and peaceful meadows on a country farm set in the beautiful Brookhampton Valley 9kms from Donnybrook and close to many local attractions and wineries with the towns of Bunbury ,Donnybrook,Balingup,Bridgetown and Collie within a pleasant afternoons drive plus the Bibbulum trails are easily accessed from Donnybrook. It’s peaceful and relaxing with plenty of space for winding down and enjoying the remote tranquility The Hipcamp is located well away from the main house so is private. There is a working studio with kilns on the property with the main woodfired salt glazing kiln being fired once or twice a year. We welcome visitors to the studio so if you would like a visit or to do a clay workshop just ask us :) We often have our own eggs and honey available for sale. There are also brochures in the studio for anyone wanting more information on the local attractions. We do have some rules to follow : NO DOGS OR OTHER PETS permitted NO CHILDREN FENCES are live so no ropes to be attached to them There is a dump site for portable toilets at 20 Reserve Street Donnybrook. Greywater can be released onto the paddock. We have an eco toilet available so please do not put any foreign matter down it PLEASE do not feed the animals or enter other areas on the farm without permission All camping must be undertaken in the designated camping area There is a 10pm curfew and no arrivals to the Camp will be allowed after dark so if you cannot arrive before dark please book for the next day. Entry to the property is via a gate code which is given on booking a site-do not come after dark we are on a country road there is no street lighting and its hard to locate us in darkness Exit is automatic- pull square up to the gate and it will sense the vehicle and open the gate. For Entry : Drive all the way to the end of the gravel drive -put the code given into the pinpad go through gate within 40secs then lineup straight to the bridge and drive straight across through the gate into the camp We have camping available during the music festival at Newlands in the New Year and at Easter for the Donnybrook Apple Festival and the TOMR bike race at the end of October as well as throughout the year

Something Different is a large machinery shed that has been converted into a comfortable holiday house with three bedrooms and one bathroom (extra toilet outside) and huge living spaces. You can really kick back here and relax! The walls and ceilings have been extensively insulated. There is a wood heater in the kitchen and another one in the main part of the Shed so it can be kept nice and cosy despite its size! You can drive your car/van inside the shed if you wish or park it under any of the many surrounding trees. The Shed sleeps 10 in total (base price covers all 10), with 1 queen and 1 single bed in one room, 1 dbl bed and 2 single beds in another room, and 1 queen bed and 1 single bed in a third room. All linen, towels, etc. are provided. If you have more people, they are welcome to pitch a tent or park their caravan on the grounds around the shed. For a large group (say 10 plus) we charge an extra $20 (total) to cover the extra power you will need. Set on 80 acres, secluded from the main road and neighbours, we have a boutique vineyard and we operate as a working farm, at Dunmovin estate we operate a cellar door on weekends and open on request during the week, we sell our farm meat products and pasture raised eggs through the cellar door, which is also available to our Hicamp guests. Our cows, sheep and pigs are all super friendly. On most days we have abundant bird life including red and white tailed cockatoos. Our creek runs for most of the year but there are 2 large dams and several springs with water all year round. It is very quiet, private and a great place to unwind. We provide fire pits and firewood for when fire restrictions aren’t in place. Some very tall jarrah and Marri trees on the property, we crop some paddocks for hay and graze our farm animals in other paddocks. There are peaceful walks through paddocks or bush around the property.

It’s surrounded by nature in every direction, birdsong in the mornings, peaceful bush walks just steps away, and a real sense of calm throughout the whole property. A well maintained and laid out caravan park. Easily accessible parking bays with plenty of shade. Clean and tidy amenities with friendly staff. The fur babies were also welcomed which was a big bonus for us.

Helps getting out when the bank is wet, dont forget to chuck it in the water before you jump in. We suggest you have a look where the logs and branches are under water before you get in and the water gets muddied.

A lovely area to sit, kitchen area , shower and bathroom on the side. Michelle and her son were very welcoming too. Storm was expected and she offered us a room if it would get too bad.
