Set on 80 acres, secluded from the main road and neighbours, we have a boutique winery and we operate as a working farm, at Dunmovin estate farm we operate a cellar door on weekends and open on request during the week, we sell our farm meat products and pasture raised eggs through the cellar door, which is also available to our Hicamp guests. Our cows, sheep and pigs are all super friendly. On most days we have abundant bird life including red and white tailed cockatoos. Our creek runs for most of the year but there are 2 large dams and several springs with water all year round. It is very quiet, private and a great place to unwind. We provide fire pits and firewood for when fire restrictions aren’t in place. Some very tall jarrah and Marri trees on the property, we crop some paddocks for hay and graze our farm animals in other paddocks. There are peaceful walks through paddocks or bush around the property.

A nice quiet bush camp with plenty of room which was perfect for our caravan and a couple of swags. Around 20 minutes to Busselton and a bit more to Dunsborough which suited our plans. Lots of Kangaroos to view.

We stayed at Shikuru Site 1 and had an amazing experience. Fiona was incredibly kind and thoughtful — knowing we were travelling with a newborn, she left out a picnic rug and cushion for us, which we used throughout our stay. Such a simple gesture, but it made everything so much easier and more comfortable. The property itself was fantastic — large, peaceful and clearly well cared for, with many areas mowed by a ride-on at some stage. It’s those small touches that really show how much attention goes into the place. The whole family were extremely kind, generous and respectful, which made the experience even more enjoyable. And the homemade apple crumble and other goodies they we purchased as extras were absolutely delicious. Our dogs were allowed off-lead as long as they behaved, which we appreciated. One of ours got a bit too excited at times, but with a bit of common courtesy it was no issue at all. Overall, Shikuru Site 1 was a beautiful, well-kept spot with genuinely thoughtful hosting. We’d happily stay again.

Here’s a refined, polished version of your updated review, keeping your voice and enthusiasm: ⸻ A beautiful spot! The owners were incredibly friendly and accommodating, making sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay. The property is close to the dam. The weather was a bit too chilly for swimming, but that didn’t stop our furry friend from jumping in and having an absolute ball! There’s also a paddleboard and a rope swing available for use. Our furry friend loved having plenty of open space to explore. The National Forest is nearby, so it’s best to keep dogs on a lead in that area due to baiting — but there are no baits on Shukuru Farm itself. Being a farm, there were a few flies, but nothing a fly net couldn’t fix. The wind was strong during our stay, so most of them were blown away anyway. The fire pits were a lovely bonus, and the starry skies at night were absolutely stunning. Such a relaxing, peaceful stay — I would definitely recommend staying here!

We enjoyed our stay at Shukuru’s farm! There was only one other site in view which was only occupied on the second night of our stay so it was quite peaceful having the place to ourselves for the first night! A few trees between the two sites would be great to make the sites completely private as this is something I look for when choosing a hipcamp. Communication from the host was great! The fire pit was an awesome addition & I can see the dam would be lots of fun once it gets a bit warmer!!

This was one of the quietest places I have camped Great for our reactive and anxious Blue Heeler as we didn’t see any people or animals around our camp site Only as driving in did we see some Roos and bunnies She was able to paddle around in the dame to cool off and our view from top of the hill overlooking dam etc was lovely and peaceful

We stayed on Site 2. There was only us and Site 1 in the whole space which made it nice for some quiet family Time. Huge space to park where you want close to the fire pit provided. Son was a bit disappointed that he didnt catch a fish in the dam but there is Wellington Dam close by.

68-acre peaceful retreat nestled within State Forest, a short drive from Donnybrook. We are one of only two properties in this small, isolated pocket. We have five sites available for self-contained campers. We do not offer any facilities. Self-contained campers/vans only, you MUST bring everything with you including a toilet. Stay here and enjoy the peace and tranquillity of your surroundings over a glass of wine from one of the local wineries or head out and explore the beautiful Geographe Wine Region. Redgum Hill Nestled in amongst the red gums on an elevated position near the edge of the property, you will be camping next to the old hay shed. The birdlife here is amazing, with red tailed cockatoos and honeyeaters amongst others frequently visiting. Please take care whilst exploring around this area, there are some deep rabbit warrens around the hay shed, which can be hidden in the grass in winter. Valley Vista Valley Vista is a private and secluded haven, on an elevated spot backed onto state forest looking down over the valley, with arguably the best views of the farm. Creek Junction Creek Junction is a peaceful area by the creek line nestled in amongst the trees, where the gully running down the hill meets the creek. One of our three dams is hidden in amongst the tea tree bushes nearby. You can see the house from this campsite, but it is far enough away that privacy is not an issue. Please be aware, all of our dams are seasonal and will be very low in the summer months. We also recommend that you do not swim in them. Hidden Corner Hidden Corner is situated at the back corner of the property. It is the most isolated of the three campsites with views of the open paddock and across the valley in front of you and state forest behind. Shed Pad (No longer has bathroom facilities) Shed Pad is our only powered site (15 amp) situated next to the main shed. It has a patio area with a table and 4 chairs (an extra 2 can be provided if required). WIFI is also available for an additional fee. It is an intimate site, perfect for one large caravan or two small caravans and a couple of swags/tents. It overlooks neighbouring paddocks and state forest. it is at the entrance to the property next to the main shed and in close proximity to the house.

Beautiful valley views only 3 minutes drive from the heart of Dwellingup, set out on 24 acres with shaded areas , open areas, and the full bush surrounding area to choose from. With nearby watering holes and the Murray river only a short drive away this farm stay is one of a kind as it backs onto state Forrest where the Mundi biddi trail runs past. This farm is for the caravaners only no tents or swags, small pets allowed but must be kept close and not roaming free. There are 3 dams close to where you’ll be camping and are not fenced off, so if you’re bringing the kids please be aware of this. There is a strict - no driving around the property rule as there are other occupants on the property aswell as dry grass. And please by all means if you want to take a walk through the bush then that is absolutely allowed and encouraged, but please do so by using the fire break along the fence line for accessing the state forest and taking that Mundi biddi trail experience. If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option. These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available for an additional $10 a per/day There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered. There is also a small fire pit available but only for the cooler months. Contact the host prior to your stay if you wish to use power and wifi. We hope you enjoy your experience and return safely.

Set on 80 acres, secluded from the main road and neighbours, we have a boutique winery and we operate as a working farm, at Dunmovin estate farm we operate a cellar door on weekends and open on request during the week, we sell our farm meat products and pasture raised eggs through the cellar door, which is also available to our Hicamp guests. Our cows, sheep and pigs are all super friendly. On most days we have abundant bird life including red and white tailed cockatoos. Our creek runs for most of the year but there are 2 large dams and several springs with water all year round. It is very quiet, private and a great place to unwind. We provide fire pits and firewood for when fire restrictions aren’t in place. Some very tall jarrah and Marri trees on the property, we crop some paddocks for hay and graze our farm animals in other paddocks. Peaceful Pastures is set over 9.3 acres. The back 5 acres has a watercourse running through which wild ducks frequent. The front 4 acres has a shed in the centre and 3 caravan campsites. We welcome quiet and considerate campers, who are self-contained with their own facilities. A self-contained fire pit is provided at each of the 3 campsites, for use outside the state fire ban that extends from Nov 1st to May 10th. Firewood may be available, but bringing your own is recommended. There is a small water tank, with rainwater available at the tap. This is to be used minimally at times of no rain and not to be used for car or van washing. There are a number of wild kangaroos and emus in the area, which can often be seen when driving along the road. The property is located 2.2 km off the South-Western Highway along a quiet, sealed road. Close by is the Kirup Tavern which has well-priced meals, pool tables and dartboards. It's a 15-minute drive from Donnybrook, with shops, restaurants, weekend markets and the Apple Fun Park, and 11 minutes from the tourist town of Balingup. Guests are welcome to use the trampoline, but children must be supervised, as there is no safety enclosure fitted.
