Just 1 hour from Perth, Harmony Retreat is a conscious camping space and wellness event venue, situated on 25 acres at the foothills of the Darling Range Escarpment just 10-15 minutes from Pinjarra and Dwellingup, 7 minutes from the southwest highway, and 3 minutes from Pinjarra-Williams Road. It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region.
There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and family dogs on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite.
THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY.
The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site.
CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past).
Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property.
Our communal BBQ area is now open with a gas BBQ, picnic table and sink. We suggest bringing your own cooker, kettle, esky, etc, Bringing your own drinking water is a must, as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam.
We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open cooking flames during fire bans.
All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa pig and our goats will always appreciate your veggie scraps.
Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives).

We have a lovely paddock across the creek for camping with Waroona 3 km away. We have access to water and the train goes past, along with the sheep and alpaca in the paddock next door. We had a great four day stay on a large site amongst the olive trees far enough away from other campers… well laid out campsites with the bonus of the dump point… Helen is such a nice person and so very helpful … we will definitely come back and stay again on Helen’s Olive Hill Farm campground . Highly recommended.

We loved our stay at the olive farm. The blue wrens greeted us first thing in the morning, bird life abundant. The olive trees provided shade when needed, we would definitely come back. Cheers to Peter, very helpful. Close to margaret river and all the sights.

The host was very helpful and accommodating and the site was private, sheep were lovely and friendly. The only issue was access to the property with our caravan. Our 16 foot hard top caravan didn't like the hard corner entrance to the paddock and the gravel hills. It could be our set up though. The eggs were amazing and so appreciated. Would stay again 🙂

Harmony Retreat is a lovely, relaxing camp spot and perfect if you're looking for peace and seclusion. The site is very quiet with a natural setting. Although the dam was low during our stay, it was still nice to have a dip and cool off. The amenities were clean and well maintained, with nice showers and toilets, which made the stay very comfortable.
The host were extremely friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated.
Unfortunately, we were unaware of the very strong easterly winds in the area until we had set up camp. The winds were intense every night and rocked our camper, causing some damage, which did impact our experience.
Overall, a lovely retreat with great facilities and hosts, but something future campers with vans or campers should be mindful of, particularly in windy conditions.

The paddock site is well cleared and is easy to find a level spot for a van. We were able to cook our dinner over the fire pit.
Toilets and showers are very clean and communications are very prompt and friendly.
