The southern Perth suburb of Rockingham is a spectacular place for RV campers looking for active adventures, offering the chance to partake in thrill sports ranging from jetpacking to skydiving. The beaches are fantastic too, with soft, powdery sands flanked by turquoise waters, and the Shoalwater Islands Marine Park is an exceptional place to view marine life and go birdwatching. A few caravan parks sit in and around town offering hookups, clubhouses, and dump station facilities, with more options at Woodman Point Recreation Reserve, a 20-minute drive north of Rockingham, and in Mandurah, a half-hour drive south. For a quieter stay, head inland, where you'll find numerous caravan-friendly Hipcamps to spend the night, many on private farms. Some have upwards of eight sites, ideal for groups, while a few only welcome one group of campers at a time for the ultimate private experience.

5 beautiful acres in the Swan Valley with horses, we run a horse rehoming charity from here where all proceeds from hipcamp go to support our facility. Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). Just amazing views :) Some locations are suitable for tents only, and some for caravans only. 4WD/AWDs are recommended as most sites are not easily accessible with a 2WD vehicle, especially during winter. If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option. These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available for an additional $10 a per/day There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Beautiful valley views only 3 minutes drive from the heart of Dwellingup, set out on 24 acres with shaded areas , open areas, and the full bush surrounding area to choose from. With nearby watering holes and the Murray river only a short drive away this farm stay is one of a kind as it backs onto state Forrest where the Mundi biddi trail runs past. This farm is for the caravaners only no tents or swags, small pets allowed but must be kept close and not roaming free. There are 3 dams close to where you’ll be camping and are not fenced off, so if you’re bringing the kids please be aware of this. There is a strict - no driving around the property rule as there are other occupants on the property aswell as dry grass. And please by all means if you want to take a walk through the bush then that is absolutely allowed and encouraged, but please do so by using the fire break along the fence line for accessing the state forest and taking that Mundi biddi trail experience. If the bush walk isn’t for you then laying back watching the kangaroos admiring the beautiful valley views and taking all the serenity of the Forrest in is another option. These sites require full self contained vans with dumping points available in town. Power and wifi is also available for an additional $10 a per/day There is bore water available at the camp site and although it’s clean and we use the same water- it is unfiltered. We stayed on lakeside camp 3. It is exactly as in the photo. We sat there with drinks both mornings to listen to the life on the lake. So many birds and a pair of Whistling kites living in one of the trees. Paul was a very friendly host. There are about a dozen free range chooks wandering about and they generally just hung out with us. We also wandered down to the wetland area to spot more birdlife. Was a lovely peaceful stay. The camp site is flat and large with a firepit provided during camp fire season. Would definitely recommend.

The Tampines site at 100 acre wood is awesome. Stunning view from the top of the scarp, north west facing... so you get a pretty good sunset. It is very private... far away enough from the other sites that you feel alone. Surrounded by beautiful bush. The concrete slab was great too, didnt habe to worry about levelling or putting a mat down. Highly recommended

It's an easily accessible and picturesque private property with approximately 7 acres of forest, flushing toilet, hot outdoor shower, a winter creek, a swimmable spring-fed dam, and an abundance of bird and wildlife, nestled between cattle farms in the heart of the Peel region. There are friendly free-ranging chickens and Guinea fowl, a mischievous mini pig, friendly goats, sheep, and a family dog on site. The owners Michelle, Troy, and Carolyne live and work onsite (this is a working farm). THIS IS NOT A PLACE TO BOOK IF YOU INTEND TO PARTY. The camping area is easily accessed by most vehicles. There is a hot water outdoor shower and toilet available to use and within walking distance of each site. CHILDREN - The dam on the property is currently unfenced and has steep sides when the water line is low, therefore this property is not recommended for those with small and wandering children. We also asked that older children are supervised, so as not to vandalise property, nature, gardens and fire-pits (this has been a problem in the past). Friendly dogs are welcome, however, must be kept on a leash at all times, due to free-ranging chickens, livestock and wildlife on the property. There are no cooking facilities available. Therefore, you will need to be completely self-sufficient including cooker, kettle, esky, etc, and also bringing your own drinking water as the water from the taps comes from our spring-fed dam. We do ask that you follow local fire regulations with no outdoor open flames during fire bans. All rubbish and waste needs to be taken with you. However, Peppa the Pig will always appreciate your veggie scraps. Fires are permitted in designated fire pits during fire season. Anyone found having a fire during FIRE BANS will be reported to authorities and asked to leave the property immediately (we need to use firm words around this, as bushfire destroys homes and endangers lives). We are a hobby farm set on 100-acres on the North Dandalup scarp, with a few sheep. You will find kangaroos, echidnas, sometimes emus visiting our property. You can enjoy the great views into the horizon towards the Indian Ocean amidst the tall jarrah and gum trees. Campsites are set in the woodlands, some with views. It’s perfect for people seeking 'quiet' time away, but still near to amenities in the towns around here. You can take walks to experience forest therapy, have a campfire or canoe in the dams during wintertime. There is no power, water or toilet facilities so campers must be completely self-contained. You are expected to clear up and take all rubbish with you. Leave no trace. The terrain is rather hilly, hence a few sites are accessible only by 4WD (Sembawang and Changi). There are some sites that are still accessible with regular cars (Opera 1, 2 or 3; Tampines, Bedok). RVs and small caravans are welcomed. All vehicles have to stay on the paths, and not to make any tracks. The gravel road leading to our property is shared with neighbours who run horses. As such, please drive really slowly here so as not to cause the horses to bolt. During the summer fire season, fires are strictly prohibited! Dogs welcome (on leash).

Along with plenty of horses, you'll also see kangaroos at certain times and our pet sheep Jamima who thinks she's a horse! A superb property with a winter creek and an open paddock where the horses live. It's very peaceful. There are only two camping sites available on this wonderful property at any time so privacy is assured. There is also a dam on the property so please mind any children with absent swimming abilities. Campfires are allowed during the season, and there is a toilet and shower available in the shed 100 meters from the camping area. Smaller groups booking the campsites will have full access to the toilet and shower. Please note, however, we offer a group camping option for larger groups but those booking this option must be fully self-contained as our facilities are not enough to support a large group. We have a strict Leave No Trace policy here, we kindly ask that you take all rubbish with you when you leave. We also ask that you please do not feed the horses. The property is well located to access many great wineries and cafes in the famous Swan Valley area, some within walking distance. Security here is taken care of by Mr security guard "aka" Smoky our pet dog. He's very safe and timid. If you get a pat from this boy I know you're good, so beware! We are dog friendly here, so you're welcome to bring mans best friend and we also have a secure yard to house any pets if you need a break, so long as they don't hassle the horses. We may also be able to accommodate your horse - please discuss this with us prior to booking.
