This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.

Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.

This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.

A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.

Gorgeous scenery, huge sites well spread apart. Very clean and the toilets/shower are great. We had a swim/float in the lake, a roaring fire and a swing in the hammock. Great bit of land to walk around and explore. Absolutely will be coming back.

Victoria is the best host and this beautiful perfect spot has now become our favourite place where to camp in Victoria with the comforts of a toilet, shower, hot water and pizza oven!

Lancefield Lake is truly a breath of fresh air for anyone looking to escape into nature. It provides a stunning backdrop for a weekend getaway, especially if you manage to snag a spot right on the water's edge.
The swimming experience here is top-notch. The water is refreshing and clean, making it the highlight of the trip for both kids and adults. Whether you are wading in for a quick dip or spending the afternoon floating under the sun, the lake offers a peaceful and safe environment for all kinds of water activities.
One of the most impressive aspects of this location is the thoughtful layout of the camping grounds. The areas are exceptionally well-planned, allowing different families and groups to have their own dedicated space. You never feel like you are on top of your neighbors, which adds a layer of privacy and relaxation that is often hard to find at popular lakeside spots. This separation makes it ideal for families who want their own little "base" while still enjoying the communal atmosphere of the great outdoors.
Between the scenic views, the perfect swimming conditions, and the organized layout, this is a place that clearly values the camper's experience. We had a fantastic time and will definitely be back for another visit soon. Thanks

This Hipcamp is amazing, with beautiful lakeside camp sites well spaced apart. The bathroom facilities are excellent and we kept clean throughout our stay despite 6 or so other groups staying on the property. Some may find the trip to the bathroom too far but many campers drove up. We ordered firewood with our booking and thought the amount supplied was good value. Highly recommended and hope to return.

Great site and lovely hosts! Very nice spot under some eucalypts. Felt completely private. Apparently every camp site on the property was booked but I would have had no idea, the site is completely private. Loved it!

A lovely peaceful spot with an outlook over the Dam. 2 very friendly dogs and plenty of birds and some lovely horses.

From the moment you pull into the driveway you can see the love and effort that Amanda puts into the property. We were greeted with a very warm welcome, the camping area is spacious with lots of different areas and corners to explore. Close to all the amazing vineyards and we just loved exploring the area. Very highly recommended!! We will definitely be back!

Quiet and peaceful in the middle of a large garden. Outside shower was fab - reminded me of being on safari in South Africa (without the giraffes!). Amanda was an excellent host, made us feel completely welcome.

Lancefield lake is the perfect place to relax, disconnect from the busy city life, and enjoy time outdoors.
The campsite was clean and quiet, and the night sky was absolutely stunning with so many stars. Waking up to the sounds of birds and nature was one of the best parts of the trip. It’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys camping, hiking, or just spending time in nature.
Overall, it was a wonderful short getaway and I would definitely recommend Lancefield for a relaxing camping trip.

Weekend Trip to Sommerleigh
I had a lovely little stay amongst the marshes. Accommodation had everything I needed and was only a short drive to the surf beach. I'd love to come back in winter and make use of the fireplace.

Convenient location for Torquay - walking distance to most things and the beach. Unpowered sites are a little slim - long but very narrow and a lot of the caravan sites looked the same. All the amenities were clean and working well.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Puddleduck Farm property. The camp is surrounded by plenty of trees and feels very private. The amenities are fantastic. Amanda is such a kind and welcoming host. Probably the best camp on the Peninsula, ideal for people who enjoy tranquil environments and an immersive nature retreat. We would definitely come back!
