Bring a fishing rod to try your luck catching silver perch, or nets for yabbies — there are plenty!

A wood-fired pizza oven, located in a separate undercover area, is available for use.
Lovely bushwalks, motorbike, and horse tracks are located close to the property.
World-class surf breaks are within a half-hour drive, with Bells Beach being the most iconic.
Torquay is home to surf shops and eateries — Rip Curl, Billabong, Roxy, and Rojo are all within walking distance of each other. You’ll also find great local breweries such as Four Pines and Bells Beach Brewery.
Torquay and Anglesea both have vibrant arts scenes — the Ashmore Arts hub is located in Torquay, and Anglesea is home to the Arts Shed. The Eagles Nest Gallery in Aireys Inlet also hosts exhibitions by local artists.

Aireys inlet is a unique tiny town with so much to do. The local beach is iconic for surfing and swimming, the local creek is a favourite at the inlet for young kids to swim or for canoeists to have somewhere quiet to paddle. Mountain biking is a must in the area, with thousands of tracks available right outside the back door.
If you have your own horse you can bring it along on holiday with you, we have paddocks available and there are so many gorgeous tracks around to ride on and beach riding at low tide and the right times is a bucket list item!
The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, or just laze on the beach, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land.
The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne.

Aireys inlet is a unique tiny town with so much to do. The location itself is 17 acres and is next to the Painkallac creek in a peaceful bush setting. This location used to be a horse riding school which is now not running but has been converted to offer camping, caravan and RV parking. It’s only 1.5 km from the beach and the Otway national park is right on your doorstep. If you have bikes, horses or love to hike or run, or just laze on the beach, it’s a perfect location, be ready to be spoilt as there are so many tracks on offer in our stunning local beach and bush land.
The local town of aireys inlet has plenty to offer, a general store for all your essentials, loads of places to eat out for breakfast, lunch or dinner and only 1 3/4hrs from Melbourne.
No need to stress if you don’t want to be near anyone else, this is a small setting so it’s very private and its only got one space to rent so that you have peace and quiet. If you do have friends and want to book a double space please just message me and I can open up another space for you.
I also have an option to add a pottery class for you, the cost is $50 a person for a two hour session.

Gorgeous scenery, huge sites well spread apart. Very clean and the toilets/shower are great. We had a swim/float in the lake, a roaring fire and a swing in the hammock. Great bit of land to walk around and explore. Absolutely will be coming back.

The swimming experience here is top-notch. The water is refreshing and clean, making it the highlight of the trip for both kids and adults. Whether you are wading in for a quick dip or spending the afternoon floating under the sun, the lake offers a peaceful and safe environment for all kinds of water activities.
One of the most impressive aspects of this location is the thoughtful layout of the camping grounds. The areas are exceptionally well-planned, allowing different families and groups to have their own dedicated space. You never feel like you are on top of your neighbors, which adds a layer of privacy and relaxation that is often hard to find at popular lakeside spots. This separation makes it ideal for families who want their own little "base" while still enjoying the communal atmosphere of the great outdoors.

This Hipcamp is amazing, with beautiful lakeside camp sites well spaced apart. The bathroom facilities are excellent and we kept clean throughout our stay despite 6 or so other groups staying on the property. Some may find the trip to the bathroom too far but many campers drove up. We ordered firewood with our booking and thought the amount supplied was good value. Highly recommended and hope to return.

Was a lovely little camp site, Mark and his wife were easy to deal with, they even brought some kayaks for us too use on the dam. Nice and secluded, they also allowed the use of the nearby hut. Would recommend.

Penzance is a peaceful spot. Nice place to visit. It has the best Hipcamp toilet we’ve visited with tank water. The Taj Mahal of toilets. Private site with easy access though the last turn could be challenging for larger vans. Fabulous camp fireplace with cooking grate, hanging pot hooks etc. If you BYO Camp oven, bbq plate and billy you can cook up a storm.

Loved it. Bernadette makes sure everyone stays to perimeter so we all see that awesome view. Didn’t go into house. But the coffee tea cakes soup etc looks great. Plus a sitting room in an over 100 year old homestead, artwork and kids area with books etc. clean toilets.
30 min walk to Riddell and short drive to Sunbury.

Lancefield lake is the perfect place to relax, disconnect from the busy city life, and enjoy time outdoors.
The campsite was clean and quiet, and the night sky was absolutely stunning with so many stars. Waking up to the sounds of birds and nature was one of the best parts of the trip. It’s a great spot for anyone who enjoys camping, hiking, or just spending time in nature.
Overall, it was a wonderful short getaway and I would definitely recommend Lancefield for a relaxing camping trip.
