We have several types of stay from powered caravan sites to bush camping, un powered site for vans or RVs overlooking the Dam. We have an out door shower for the van sites but no toilet facilities. This is for self contained campers.

We had such a lovely, relaxing time at the dam view campsite. Rob and Leanne were wonderful hosts and made us feel so welcome from the start. We absolutely loved the visits from their pups they were super friendly. We were also so spoilt with fresh eggs and homegrown cucumbers, which was such a thoughtful touch. The property is incredibly peaceful. It was beautiful listening to the birds and watching the ducks on the dam. A truly great place to stop and unwind

What an incredible find! Our stay at Jana’s farm was easily one of our best Hipcamp experiences to date. We set up camp in a stunning, secluded spot tucked under the shade of massive chestnut trees.
Jana is a phenomenal host who welcomed us with freshly picked raspberries right from the farm. He was incredibly friendly and even saved the day by letting us charge our battery when our solar panel failed. We were also lucky enough to be there while they were processing honey; getting to see the process and taste raw honey fresh from the hive was an unforgettable highlight. Jana even let us pick some extra berries to take home with us.
The property itself is beautiful. The kids had a blast kayaking around the dam, and it was such a relief to find a spot where our dog could run off-leash and enjoy the open space as much as we did. Between the scenery, the delicious farm treats, and Jana’s genuine kindness, we couldn't have asked for more.

We had the most amazing time at Tonimbuk Farm. The setting is absolutely stunning — right on the edge of the dam with beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. Our kids had an absolute blast exploring the area and spending time in nature.
A special highlight was the two gorgeous dogs, Marly and Max, who hung around during our stay - they were so friendly and we loved their company.
We were lucky enough to spot the resident platypus, a wombat, some deer, and a few kangaroos — such a treat!
The firewood supply was more than generous, and the little fire starter kit was a thoughtful touch that made setting up a breeze. All in all, this place exceeded our expectations. We’ll definitely be back!

Beautiful and peaceful location! Jana was a great host and kindly showed us to our site.
We had the place to ourselves apart from wallabies and wombats. It was great to allow our dog off lead and we loved exploring the huge site.
We used the plumbed toilets up at the main farm building, and also had a tap there to refill our water.
We would definitely come back again.

A peaceful and quiet campsite, immersed in nature, big and feeling private. The site is more beautiful than the photos you see on Hipcamp. My dog loves running freely to explore and enjoy her best life😄. The pond/lake and the creek are the highlights! Surrounded by berry bushes, it’s winter so no berries or leaves yet but I can imagine how beautiful when it’s summer 😁

Where to go
Summerlands
On the southwestern tip of Phillip Island, Summerlands is home to the island’s main attraction, the Penguin Parade. The natural spectacle of tens of thousands of penguins emerging from the ocean and waddling toward their nests takes place just after sunset every evening. Nearby you’ll find Nobbies Centre, outside of which you can see fur seals and birds, then learn about them through interactive displays. As Summerlands is a protected area, you’ll need to set up camp a little farther away. Nevertheless, you’ll find camping areas within a 10-minute drive.
Ventnor
In the small town of Ventnor, just a five-minute drive from the Penguin Parade, camping options include upscale glamping near Berry’s Beach and rural settings near Ventnor Beach.
Cowes
As the island’s main township, Cowes is home to several accommodation options, including camping areas. Your choices include family-friendly holiday parks with access to both the beach and nearby shops and restaurants.
Newhaven
