Polly's Paddock is a quiet camping area on the Mornington Peninsula. We are a couples, mates , friends , camping (adults only), no children, for safety reasons with a dam close by.
Only 15 minutes from Mount Martha village and Mornington, restaurants, amazing wineries, weekend markets, cafes and golf courses.
We are 10 minutes from swimming beaches and 20 minutes from surf beaches.
This is a 5.5 acre block, consisting of the host’s residence, garden and parkland. Polly's Paddock is half of the block.
We offer 2 flat caravan or tent sites, both with drinking water , 1 with limited power , the other no power.
There is also a site with a glamping tent set in the garden.
The 6 metre round tent sleeps 2, with a queen size bed, linen provided.
It is carpeted, has a fridge, kettle and BBQ. Just pack your toothbrush, clothes, food and drinks.
All 3 sites have the use of a shared composting toilet.
For a refreshing experience there is an outdoor, open air hot shower overlooking the dam.
Close by is a spacious shelter/shed with tables, chairs and a rustic kitchen area with sink and heater.
Well behaved dogs are accepted on the caravan sites, but we ask that you please discuss with us prior to booking. Dogs are to be kept on a lead at all times, wild ducks and the properties own poultry wander here.
No dogs on the glamping tent site.
Campfires are allowed during the cooler months, left to the hosts discretion for safety reasons. We supply a fire pit. BYO wood.

Amanda’s campsite is a true hidden gem — a little paradise, even better than the photos.
The place is incredibly quiet and peaceful, perfect for fully relaxing. We love camping and have visited many places, and this is by far one of the best we’ve stayed at.
Amanda is a genuinely lovely host who takes great care of both her property and the people staying there. The campsite and amenities are spotless, so if you visit, please help keep it as clean as Amanda does.
We only stayed for one night, but we definitely want to come back and stay for many more days. Highly recommended.

Lovely campsite & lovely staff! Amenities were good and clean. Only thing we could suggest for future, maybe some hooks to hang towels/clothing in the bathrooms, would be super helpful! The staff member was super lovely and helpful and tended to our needs in a timely matter. Loved our stay and would come again. Only 5-10 mins from Mt Martha beach. 🏖️

Madge and Neil were great hosts! They were extremely welcoming from the start of our trip and met us to show us the campsite. Site 3 was wonderful, with a huge space and nicely situated around some trees. It has a very small incline, but not much of a hinderance for setting up tents/gazebos. The toliet facility is clean, and the kitchen area is great for washing up. Would definitely come back here again!

We had an awesome time at Afton Park, Madge was a fantastic hostess. We have stayed at a few hip camps in the past and the facilities at Afton Park impressed us. Good for well-equipped campers. Bring your own chairs, table, firepit. The toilet is a single portajohn which could be difficult when crowded but was fine for us, even on a holiday weekend so they must manage numbers well. Nice sunrise and sunset views over the fields. Nice open space to camp with a few friends together. Clear sign for the entrance. Trees scattered around to get some shade. Very nearby conveniences - shops, food, petrol, etc - but feels like you're in the bush. Easy to get out to several beaches for swimming, surfing, or snorkeling then come back for a chill evening.
