My partner and I came down for a weekend getaway and this was the perfect little camping spot for us! Wasn’t too far from the beach and the pub, both Matt and Kendra were amazingggg such lovely and friendly people! We were able to have a fire with wood provided which was so handy for us during those cold nights. And the toilet and shower were close by and were really convenient after swimming and surfing. Will definitely be staying here again in the future would 100% recommend staying with these lovely people on their beautiful property!

3 nights at Aireys Inlet - Home Base 1

We had a great time at Home Base 2 with our caravan. It’s a small bush area at the back of Kendra and Matt’s property so not out of the way feeling, but an amazing location near the beach and centre of Airey’s Inlet. Proper toilet and enclosed outdoor hot water shower were both fantastic - we really appreciated the shower after coming back from the sea cold and sandy! Matt had left out keg fire pits and wood for a camp fire in the evening. We would definitely come back here if we wanted another long weekend at the beach.

Pretty much what you’d expect from a recreational reserve. The facilities were basic but functional, and the bathrooms were kept clean, which was appreciated.

Stayed here 2 nights over Easter, hosts kendra and Matt were so hospitable, super friendly and welcoming. The site is lovely, only a short walk from the beach and Aires inlet but still feels like you're in the bush. We'll be back for sure

What a fabulous town, showgrounds and facility! Everything we needed, and all so easy to get to and do. Facilities were cleaned regularly, lots of space to camp in, play equipment, room for kids to run around and so much more. Everything was so easy. Thank you so much!

Great caretaker could not be more helpful and great spot to explore Otways from. Only downside was not enough toilets and showers for the amount of campers. Porta loos were helping but only a couple of showers for hundreds of guests. Enjoyed our stay.

Kendra is a fantastic host, super friendly and had some great recommendations for the area. The camp ground has plenty of space and is very peaceful, having a clean toilet and shower with hot running water was such a bonus. Clear Springs

Clear Springs is a very special spot, offering sweeping views over rolling hills, and across to the ocean. King Island lighthouse is visible on clear nights, and there are koalas and wallabies in abundance. Whilst we require you to BYO toilet, we do have hot shower, woodfired hot-tub, power, water and phone reception. The site is all-weather access, and is just a 7-minutes drive to the Apollo Bay township. Once you catch your breath after initially taking in the sweeping, majestic ocean views, you can find a spot to pitch your tent or park your van. You drive in through a locked farm gate into the fenced camp area. There is not an abundance of flat area, so may not suit if you need large level space. We don't accept multiple bookings, so the space is all yours. You can choose from a few different spots with near-level ground (choose grass or gravel). The site is open to the amazing ocean views to the south yet the area is nestled among mature trees to give privacy and shelter. There are very few houses dotted around the area and not a single busy road within earshot. There is 240v mains power (BYO lead and plug into switchboard). And a tank with spring water (natural and untreated, we've been drinking it for years) and a pressure pump (BYO hoses as needed). There is an outdoor gas-heated shower. We also have a woodfired hot tub available for guests, BYO firewood. Our listing is intended for people looking for a private, tranquil and well-serviced camping area with several bonuses such as firewood, power, water, telstra reception, and a hot tub. And no other guests to worry about. It's much more than a patch of grass! But please BYO toilet - this is mandatory - and leave no trace to allow other people to enjoy the beauty of our property. Sorry pets are not allowed.
