Orbost is 25km’s away if you need groceries and services, ( toilet dump is near Forest park & top up your water at the toilet block near the SES building) We are a working Beef property, we have 2 working cattle dogs. We have Angus cows and Wagyu bulls and produce First cross wagyu calves. We have dorper sheep and an Alpaca for protection. Some of the sites have ocean views. This is a large paddock with no designated camp sites. YOU get to choose where you set up. There’s plenty of options so pick a site with a bit of space around you. In whale migration season you can often see the whales breaching off shore, otherwise sit back and spot the odd sailing boat or enjoy the sunsets. There’s a bush track through the bush down to a good surf FISHING beach, or Point Ricardo is 1 km away. We are 10 kilometres to the mouth of the Snowy River and the township of Marlo where there is a 2 great coffee shops and the Marlo Hotel where you can watch the sunset over the Snowy Estuary and have a great meal. To the east 8kms is Cape Conran with swimming beaches and a boat ramp to the ocean. The site setting is a cow paddock, there are NO facilities available you must be fully self sufficient. This venue will suit RV ‘s, caravans or the fully self contained rustic camper that have their OWN TOILETS!

Gordens track camping grounds is located right on the fringe of the Alberton West state forest. This is an excellent place for mountain/dirtbike and horse riders. You could ride though the forest for days and not see all of it. (Please note Motorbikes & Horses are not to be ridden on the property) the campsites are all shaded by gums and provide and excellent place relax by nature! Within the camping ground we have campsite 1 . Jakes Hut Jakes Hut an old corrugated hut that provides great shelter from the elements and gives you the experience of roughing like they did back in the old days with a few modern twist! campsite 2. The Stock Yards The Stock Yards camping area is a great little campsite roughly 40x80m it provides plenty of shade and shelter. perfect for small groups! Campsite 3. Inlet view Inlet view has 3 sites available suits bigger larger tv/ caravans or large groups of tent campers. Plenty of shade and beautiful views. RULES Campfires are welcome but only in the fire pits provided. (Pending Fire Resrictions) Pets are allowed off leash but if they chase livestock please have them on leash. The Property is situated on the pristine Wallagaraugh river near the Victorian and New South Wales border, 8km down an all weather dirt road has some bumpy sections, accessible for caravaners and boaters and is approximately 45 km from Eden and 40 km from Mallacoota by car, very isolated but has limited phone and internet reception, 15 minutes down river Gypsy Point, another 20 minutes your at Mallacoota on the coast if you need fuel, supplies, etc, 5 to 10 minutes up river the bullring , proceeding with caution you will go through a temperate rainforest and end up at the rock wall with small waterfalls and fresh water pools. A haven for many species of birds and wildlife, sea and wedge tail eagles nesting close by a bird watchers and canoeists paradise, also many species of fish so if you want to wet a line a Victorian fishing licence is needed, the river has a 5 knot speed limit from the campsite to Gypsy Point, if your more into bushwalking or sightseeing there are several national parks within a 30 minute drive or boat trip, or just have a swim, chill, relax and enjoy the peace and serenity. one site has small tinny access to the river and the other is good for a 20 ft boat, can accommodate up to 15 at one site and 12 at the other, camping and fires are only allowed in designated camping areas due to rehabilitation of river frontage and flash flooding, at both sites you cannot camp or have fires in fenced off river frontage, bring your own firewood or it can be supplied for $25 per wheelbarrow when booking in, you will have to provide your own camp toilet, shower, etc and take all waste away when you leave, I can arrange if needed by prior notice, bulk firewood, launching of boat, etc. No firewood collection, motorbike riding, shooting or 4x4ing on site, some pets on leash may be allowed by prior arrangement, if having trouble booking or any other inquiries please send message cheers John.

Our property is 5 acres comprising of a farmhouse, shed and gardens. Our campsites are grassy green flat paddocks with separate access, great views across open green pastures of grazing cattle and sheep with views of the majestic hills of Dumbalk South. There's plenty to see and do in the area from the amazing Wilson's Prom Nat. Park (40 mins), to country town shopping (2 mins), waterfalls and more. We are only a 10min walk or 3min bike ride from the Great Southern Rail Trail which is a multi-use, gentle trail suitable for all abilities and fitness levels, covering 14 towns and 130klm it runs from Nyora to Yarrum with panoramic views of lush farmland, rainforest and pristine seascapes. The Great Southern Rail Trail links several unique towns. Just across the road you'll find Stony Creek Go Karts which is at 800 metres long, the longest Hire Kart track in Victoria and one of the few tracks that have racing karts and hire out karts as well as provide facilities to bring your own. (Book if poss). They also have other games facilities and an on-site café with great coffee and pizzas! Ten minutes drive towards Dumbalk South takes you to Blue Tree Honey Farm, a great little tourist attraction where you can taste and buy honey from local areas, sample a beautiful cream tea/coffee, have lunch in the cafe or sit outside and admire the scenic countryside. Just down the road towards Foster on your right you will find a fabulous panoramic lookout platform with views of Wilson's Promontory National Park (40 min) comprised of 125,000 acres of rainforests, extremely beautiful beaches, rugged granite mountains and abundant wildlife. Trails from the Tidal River settlement lead to Squeaky Beach, with its white quartz squeaky sand. Nearby, Mt. Oberon offers views of Bass Strait and offshore islands and Wilsons Promontory Light station, built in 1859, is on the southern coast. Nearby towns for shopping are Meeniyan, Leongatha and Foster. Leongatha has an indoor pool and Foster has a surprisingly good museum which as you walk through there are outbuildings like a jail and a schoolhouse, complete with school children! There are so many attractions nearby as well as local festivals and markets just about every weekend that you will keep coming back to fit them all in.

Camp in a semi-sheltered paddock on our 25 acre family farm "Ennisvale", on the outskirts of Sandy Point. You'll be on the doorstep of the most beautiful beaches, fishing, vibrant local towns and Wilson’s Prom. Wake up to birdsong, go to sleep to the sound of the waves, and spot a koala if you’re lucky. With a flush toilet, a cold bore water shower, an outdoor fridge (old but works fine!), power for charging devices, and a drinking water tank, you’ll be very comfortable as you explore the local area. We love it here and we know you will too. You’ll have your own camp area (unless in shared summer site), but you’ll be close enough to the action to see the comings and goings of our multigenerational family as we potter around the farm, veggie garden and orchard. Say hi! Say g'day to the curious chooks and friendly dogs and enjoy the top-notch "equine views" from your site with three lovely horses in the next paddock. Sandy Point beaches and store 2 mins drive Shallow Inlet Marine and Coastal Park 5 mins drive Fish Creek 15 mins (cafes, galleries, pharmacy, general store, pub) Foster 20 mins (local IGA, Aherns grocer, butchers/fish shop, pub and take-away) Walkerville North beach 20 mins Wilsons Prom 25 mins to gate / 50 mins to Tidal River It's now the declared Fire Danger Period - fires allowed in our fire pit only when not windy, & we may add a fire ban during summer if conditions dry out. Check with hosts if unsure and byo firewood. We only allow one group to book at once (except in Dec/Jan - shared) - site suitable for anything from 1-2 travellers or a larger group. The camp site has a large flat area and can accommodate most vehicles. The ground surface is level, but grass is a bit rough and expect some sticks and twigs and holes around. Horses sometimes graze the paddock and poo is picked up but if you're lucky you might find some remnants! No wild party groups, please! Please respect the peaceful surrounds, our family & neighbours, so please keep the noise down after 10pm. The farm and surrounding bush is an Owl habitat and the property has an amazing abundance of bird life. It is just 25 minutes from Bairnsdale and the Gippsland lakes where you can explore the beautiful beaches and walking tracks. There are shops available for basic supplies within 10 minutes. We border the Mitchell river with the farm so there are about 1 km of secluded banks to sit or swim from if you want to just stay put. For those wanting pure relaxation, meditation, and soul grounding. We can personally show you some tremendous places on the farm to go within. Pure solace is something that many take for granted. Use our pyramid to draw in Quantum/etheric energy, go to the top of our crystal hill and feel the energies. There is so much to be thankful for when you can release in these spaces. Alternatively sit amongst the cows and feel their energy surround you as their curious nature brings them in closer and closer until they relax around you. Alternatively if you want to chill with a beer on the river bank and try for some bass, or watch the eastern water dragons play in the sun and water, then that’s a great way to unwind, or soak up the sun rays as it drops below the horizon on the crystal hill or rolling flood plains. A personal favourite of a campfire and a few drinks with the stars is a great way to unwind when you have so much space and privacy. The sites are located next to our rental lodge where we sometimes do retreats, or holiday let it as well. The privacy is wonderful if that's what you are looking for. A walk each morning from one end of the farm where you will stay to the other and back is a leisurely 2kms so maybe that is your morning start, but walk the lanes and check the fences and cows while you're at it please 🙂, ticks a job for us while your relaxing. Want to learn about the history of the area? Well a session with us will teach you everything didn't know about the Dargo High Plains, the mountain cattlemen of the high country and much more. Take advantage of your time to enjoy the history of the area and the wonderful past times enjoyed. What is available off farm? Number one, the pub with great counter meals is across the river, 5kms away. Lindenow Farmers Hotel is iconic in its design and history, the reputed Lindenow Long Paddock Cafe is also a few hundred metres from the pub, and the Post Office and Store have all your essentials. Need a few more things? Bairnsdale is 24kms away from the farm and offers all you need. Lakes Entrance is about 40 mins for a day out on the beach. Paynesville around 30 mins. If you want to venture up into the mountains then why not go through Dargo just 45 mins and up onto Mt Hotham (Summer only) via the Dargo High Plains. It’s a great track and on occasions I take people up for a guided tour and secret camp spots on my yearly run up there for my own relax time. East Gippsland in general is a wonderful region to stop and relax during all seasons but especially summer with the water activities available, the camping in the high country, and the markets that abound the area. Coos and ewes was easy to find from the highway, the sites Are very well planned and sign posted in there positions on the property and far enough apart that you feel like you're the only one there. It did get very windy on the pepper corn tree site but the views over the wetlands was phenomenal and with extra reinforcement from the picnic table and lots of ropes I was able to keep my marquee from blowing away.
