The property is 600 acres of thick Victorian bush and farmed paddocks. We have a wide range of hobby farm animals - pigs, sheep, alpacas, chickens, ponies, a donkey, along with commercial heard of South African Boer Goats. As night falls, the wildlife come out to play - kangaroos, rabbits, deer and wallabies. Internally, we have in excess of 10 kilometers of roads within the property, the majority being 2WD accessible (weather conditions apply). There are parts of the property which are only 4WD accessible. Our campsites are placed to allow you to be as isolated as possible - away from other campers (you may see others as you drive past, or they drive past you). At some of our bush sites, you will be able to see other campers, but they are not close by. Additionally, we anticipate our Fire Danger Period for the 2025/2026 Summer Season will commence in the coming weeks. We have not toggled the Fire Ban on as we do still allow campfires, however campers MUST adhere to CFA guidelines at all times. On days of Total Fire Ban (TFB), no fires, including gas stoves can be lit outdoors. In event of the TFB toggle needing to be used on Hipcamp, this will advise all guests booked on that day and to all future guests. We will toggle it off once the TFB is removed. Furthermore, we reserve the right to ask you not to light a fire regardless of TFB status if we feel weather conditions are unsafe, especially the wind element. We cannot plan the weather and the request to not light your campfires will most likely be on the day and we will advise as such. We're located only a few short km's from Wilhelmina Falls and Murundindi Scenic Reserve, you get the best part of the river, without the crowds. We are a short drive from Melbourne, and easy access to the townships of Yea and Yarra Glen for supplies if you need them. Amazing, abundant and rare bird life to enjoy and photograph. Weekend Trip to Boulder Brook Valley

This was our second 🦊 Camp for our end of year celebrations at this spot. Great choicec once again. Secluded, quiet, well set out campsite to be able support a group of young guys have a great time to blow off a little steam at the end of a very busy year. BBQ'ing, swimming in the fantastic billabong, camp fires, beer, whiskey, music, impromptu cricket match and lots of laughs were had by all. Weekend Trip to Reedy Creek Camping

This is a great spot for a weekend away from Melbourne with a pooch. It's easy access, plenty of shade, beautiful large clean dam for swimming. There are a few local cars that go by and I have heard a bit of shooting both times I've camped here. Apart from that, private, quiet and very pretty.

Damiens’ Hipcamp stay was nothing short of magical! The location is great—peaceful, beautiful, and just a short distance from the beach, making it easy to enjoy ocean breezes and stunning sunsets. One of the highlights was definitely the miniature horses and goats—they are incredibly sweet and added such a unique, joyful touch to the experience. The host truly made the stay exceptional. They were welcoming, friendly, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was perfect. From helpful local tips to thoughtful check-ins, their hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. Wonderful stay at Strath Creek Station. We had a spacious creek-front site with plenty of room to relax and enjoy the surroundings. We had a gorgeous stop over on Michael's property! The site was extremely private and we pulled in nice and close to the icy creek, which didn't stop the kids getting in and exploring for hours! We were self sufficient so didn't use the toilets on site, but Michael was extremely accommodating with our questions

We loved our campsite, right next the river and under shady trees. Spaced far enough away from other campers that you feel private. Toilet facilities and bbq made life really easy and host provided really clear instructions. We are definitely booking again.

We loved camping at the Boulder Brook Valley. Beautiful nature so close to the city. Nice setup, with flowing water, and the pergola was very handy. The planes didn't really bother us.

I very much enjoyed staying at Shack’s Bottom Padock - decided last minute to come here due to the total fire ban issues at the Grampians where I had originally booked. Damian was a great host - thank you for the fire pit and watering can, and also for checking in on me when it got a bit stormy.

We had an amazing time at the site by the lake. The group of 8 were evenly spaced out on comfortable flat grass. Ammenities were great to have and is a luxury during this occasion. I will definetly come back with a rod and reel next time!
