Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Please contact me if this area interests you.

For the rest of the description, please see below Deep Glen is a beautiful, quiet 5 acre property at Eaglehawk Neck, gateway to the stunning Tasman Peninsula. Hiking, surfing, fishing, swimming, diving are all at your doorstep, not to mention the famous Three Capes Track and the Port Arthur Historic site just a short drive away. If you want to see the coast shown in these photos, both the Tasman Island Cruise and Wild Ocean Tasmania offer excellent trips Bookings are for two adults; children under 16 are free. It may be possible for larger groups to occupy one site - please enquire before booking. As the site is teeming with wildlife including the barred bandicoot, we don't allow dogs. There are no facilities on the block apart from a long drop dunny (byo paper) and a small supply of non-potable water so you will need to be self-sufficient though there are good meals at the nearby Lufra Hotel and excellent coffee just up the road at the legendary Cubed Coffee van. Very private valley nestled between two mountainous sandstone ranges. 3.5 kilometers from Colebrook, via Yarlington road. The property in total size is 37 hectares half of which is gently undulating grassland slopes. These slopes lead to the banks of the beautiful Iles Creek which runs nearly all year round. The western range across the creek includes numerous caves within comfortable walking distance. The highest cave provides magnificent views to the East coast. Camping options include non-designated sites either side of the creek under the huge black-wood trees, restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles during winter and spring months, with a secluded site with year-round access for all vehicles. At the entrance sits the first of the designated sites, the rest are accessed via the meandering road down 300 or so meters to the camping ground entrance for the other two sites. The last 500-700 meters of Yarlington road leading to the entrance is quite steep. Some two wheel drive vehicles towing large vans have found this challenging, while others haven't. The two main camping areas now have a 'bush loo' in each site. if you wish to use these please use your own paper. Also, now for camper convenience the whole area has access to the campers' lounge and resource shelter. It contains First Aid and snake bite first aid kits. Water is available here. This reconstructed building was once The Campania Scouts and guides, hall.

Located just a 20 minute drive from the Hobart CBD, this beautiful 0.67 hectare coastal bush property is set in a little valley right by Kingston Beach, Browns River and Tyndall Beach. It's just a short 5 minute stroll down the road to the beach, or up the road to the start of the Alum Cliffs Track. Activities you can enjoy here include birdwatching, bushwalking, swimming, kayaking, fishing, sailing, bike riding, dog walking. You'll be staying in a fairly new comfortable bedroom with ensuite bathroom tucked under my house. There's a double bed made up with fresh linen. You'll enjoy hot showers, a flushing toilet and almost complete privacy. There's mains water. With prior notice you could use the washing machine inside the house and hang your clothes on the clothes line strung between trees. Parking for two cars and/or caravan/campervan is easy. A circular driveway surrounds the house with a driveway extension. I hope to build an outside kitchen at the nearby shed, but for now campers need to be self-contained for their cooking and washing up, or else take the short walk to Kingston Beach and the excellent cafes and restaurants there for a bite to eat. Food scraps must go in the compost bin on site. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a fire when conditions allow it. Longer pieces of firewood are provided free of charge and kindling can easily be collected from around. (Please don't use the shorter pieces of cut firewood as they are for my wood heater). You could enjoy a wood fired bush bath at extra charge, conditions allowing, with advance notice. Early evening is the best time to enjoy a bush bath and star gazing with set up in the afternoon. Wildlife on the property includes birds, wallabies, possums, echidnas and bandicoots. You are welcome to bring your small dog but please ensure it's under control at all times. Wildlife are at risk if your dog is a hunter and roams free. Tyndall Beach (the Kingston dog beach) down the road is where your furry friends can have a run. Walk them to the beach on a lead and let them off there. I have an older Jack Russell who is afraid of big dogs, sorry. This is the perfect place to experience a little bush luxury before taking off on your Tassie adventures. I very much look forward to meeting you!

And there is a boat ramp just a few kms down the road to launch your boat. The Bunkhouse is a beautifully built structure, with large windows and plenty of space. It's two storey, with the upper open-plan level accommodating 8 people in single bunk beds. A further two guests can sleep on the large sofa bed downstairs. The bunkhouse is fully self-contained with a kitchenette, toilet and shower.Clean sheets and blankets . Wi- Fi and streamed TV movie channels Please note - this is not the ritz! It's a simple bunkhouse, providing shelter to sleep, in a great location. If you wish to make use of the firepit, you'll need to BYO wood, this firepit is not often used. Instead, we'd recommend bringing a small portable bbq with you to set up by the river! You're welcome to bring pets too.

It's cosy, has minimal facilities but you can boil a kettle and microwave a meal or cook outside on a camping stove (home cooked meals $20 booked in advance) Main bathroom facilities in my house twice daily at a time arranged but there's a caravan type loo in the yurt. There's an armchair, a cosy wood stove, and a single bed. Microwave, tea and coffee. Filtered rainwater. Bedding provided. I'm a respectable distance away but your privacy is as important to you as it is to me. Park on-site and you have a private entrance. There are two silly labradors who may visit you outside so you do need to be a dog person. If not.. sorry the yurt is not for you. Please note this is a female only property.

Welcome to The Bush Circus. This is where I love to play and I welcome you here. All the deets you may need are listed here so read careful. Of course you can contact me if you can't work something out. You arrive here at the bottom corner of the property on Slab Rd where there is a place to park cars around several large gum trees. There is a very short walk through bush on manicured trails to one of three dedicated camp sites all of which is sign posted. There is also one RV spot at the car park. Toilet is located within a short walk from each campsite. All sights are reasonably flat and they all have a campfire. Please feel free to pick up twigs and breakable sticks to create a fire. If you want firewood it is $1 per piece and you can put this into the tin at where the firewood is collected. RV Spot- This is marked out as a section on the car park area. There may be some other cars near you but these are for the campers. Holy Tree Camp- The first sign takes you to this camp. You will see the tree with the burnt out base. Suitable for a small to medium tent. Tall Tree Camp- Second sign leads to here. It is adjacent to the tallest tree on the property. Small to medium tent. Octopus Tree Camp- Look up. You will see how it gets its name. Small to medium tent. This is a small property and if you get lost just follow the tracks you will find the camp you have booked. There are two toilets. Toilet one is for number 2's and toilet 2 is for number 1's. Just to make it confusing. All signposted but message me if you can't work it out. The circus area is not available for campers. Very private valley nestled between two mountainous sandstone ranges. 3.5 kilometers from Colebrook, via Yarlington road. The property in total size is 37 hectares half of which is gently undulating grassland slopes. These slopes lead to the banks of the beautiful Iles Creek which runs nearly all year round. The western range across the creek includes numerous caves within comfortable walking distance. The highest cave provides magnificent views to the East coast. Camping options include non-designated sites either side of the creek under the huge black-wood trees, restricted to 4-wheel drive vehicles during winter and spring months, with a secluded site with year-round access for all vehicles. At the entrance sits the first of the designated sites, the rest are accessed via the meandering road down 300 or so meters to the camping ground entrance for the other two sites. The last 500-700 meters of Yarlington road leading to the entrance is quite steep. Some two wheel drive vehicles towing large vans have found this challenging, while others haven't. The two main camping areas now have a 'bush loo' in each site. if you wish to use these please use your own paper. Also, now for camper convenience the whole area has access to the campers' lounge and resource shelter. It contains First Aid and snake bite first aid kits. Water is available here. This reconstructed building was once The Campania Scouts and guides, hall.

A circular driveway surrounds the house with a driveway extension. I hope to build an outside kitchen at the nearby shed, but for now campers need to be self-contained for their cooking and washing up, or else take the short walk to Kingston Beach and the excellent cafes and restaurants there for a bite to eat. Food scraps must go in the compost bin on site. Visitors are welcome to enjoy a fire when conditions allow it. Longer pieces of firewood are provided free of charge and kindling can easily be collected from around. (Please don't use the shorter pieces of cut firewood as they are for my wood heater). You could enjoy a wood fired bush bath at extra charge, conditions allowing, with advance notice. Early evening is the best time to enjoy a bush bath and star gazing with set up in the afternoon. East Coast Tasmania..nowhere better! Enjoy lots of activities in the area and come back to your serene surroundings. The COTU Yurt is basic and rustic glamping. It's cosy, has minimal facilities but you can boil a kettle and microwave a meal or cook outside on a camping stove (home cooked meals $20 booked in advance) Main bathroom facilities in my house twice daily at a time arranged but there's a caravan type loo in the yurt. There's an armchair, a cosy wood stove, and a single bed. Microwave, tea and coffee. Filtered rainwater. Bedding provided. I'm a respectable distance away but your privacy is as important to you as it is to me. Park on-site and you have a private entrance. There are two silly labradors who may visit you outside so you do need to be a dog person. If not.. sorry the yurt is not for you. Please note this is a female only property.

We used the place as a base for 6 nights to explore Richmond Port Arthur Maria Island wine tasting at Pooley Winery and golf at the Coal Valley Golf Course. Great and easy to follow instructions from Paul. Highly recommend this place for all types of camping. 10/10 (a little windy but not much you can do about the weather and you are on a ridge)

Ein sehr schöner campground. Nette und umsichtiger Gastgeber. Man hat dort seine Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit ohne auf Annehmlichkeiten verzichten zu müssen. Viele Tiere sind zu sehen, man kann sie beobachten oder selbst füttern. Die Anfahrt ist etwas verwirrend, aber wenn man es gefunden hat wird man belohnt. Wir empfehlen es unbedingt weiter.

being my first time in the area, it was very convenient for me to travel to MBP.the camp made it easy for me having the ammenities like toilet and hot shower. i didnt get to use the laundry and bbq. but it is there when needed. the place is neat, peaceful & relaxing. It is very safe as well. I got to just leave my tent for the day and it was still the same when I got back.I would definitely use their services again when I go back to Maydena

I watched a whale breach multiple times through the binoculars from the deck, had a relaxing soak in the outdoor fire bath, wandered the beautiful forest that surrounds the property, and enjoyed all of the wildlife even a white goshawk and pademelons with joeys! The cottage is located a short walk from the white sands of White Beach and a short drive from Port Arthur Historic Site, natural geological attractions, amazing walking tracks and secluded bays. Featuring 2 beautifully decorated bedrooms, updated kitchen and bathroom and an open plan cosy living and dining area. All beds and appliances have been purchased new with the intention of providing you with a most comfortable and enjoyable stay. There are two staircases off the front deck but reasonably flat access is provided at the rear of the property which will be your first entry point. We have gone to some lengths to include a wide selection of DVDs, games and books to keep you occupied in the house. We strongly recommend a daily walk on the beach and that you explore the many many attractions located on the Tasman Peninsula. Just prior to your stay you will be sent a unique code to access the property. The access code will promptly expire at the conclusion of your stay. The keypad for the access code is located at the entrance door under the carport at the rear of the cottage. The majority of the property is free for you to access. The garage has been excluded but there is a large carport which we suggest you use given that the property is surrounded by natural bush. We are available by phone from 8 am to 8 pm if you have any questions during your stay. We would love it if you could message us when you have arrived safely and also a message on leaving is appreciated so we can clean as early as possible for our next guests. Please please let me know as soon as you can if there are any issues at all so I have a chance to take the appropriate action to ensure your stay is it should be – totally stress-free and relaxing!! As I am not in the area I am unable to personally check the house before your arrival – I am heavily reliant on my housekeeper and I need to know as soon as possible if you and therefore me have been let down in any way by the presentation of Boho Cottage.
