We live on a 3 acre farm with some beautiful views of Hartz view mountain in the lovely quiet Huon valley about 6 mins drive to the township of Cygnet, and 15mins to Kettering, were you can catch the ferry over to Bruny island.
We grow alot of our own fruits and veggies which you will get opportunity to see and taste when camping on our property.
We have a large fire pit, and a little private one, that you’re welcome to enjoy for cooking, or just for relaxing. We can provide fire wood for an additional fee.

Tranquility Now! Ian and Greggs place is just the spot to get away from it all for a few days/ nights . Great level sites beside the pristine river , we spotted a platypus when we arrived. Also works as a good base to visit Ben Lomand and an easy 30 minute drive to Fingal if you need supplies. Plenty of firewood made for great nights sitting listening to the river and wildlife. Highly recommended.

Grants directions were clear and helpful. The site only takes 3 vans at a time, Grant allows plenty of space between campers. It’s not a huge site but very pleasant view through the orchard.

Spacious and private. The road is close by, but there is very little traffic. A couple of areas with different seating arrangements were an added treat. Fairy lights around the property were lovely. . Enjoyed the short walks on the property. Perfect location to explore so much in all directions. Glad we stayed for seven nights. So much to see and do..

We loved our stay at Misty Mountains. We had a powered site which was great! We had amazing views and our 2 kids (4&7) had the best time at the trampoline, climbing the tree and the swing. It’s great not having to worry about the kids as it’s very peaceful and safe. The kids were sad we had to leave!
Grant is very friendly and was always happy to chat. We purchased the fresh produce basket and the peaches were amazing. They were small but very sweet and juicy!
Only 15-20 mins to Bruny Island ferry and a few nice cideries close by. It’s very close to Cygnet which has everything you need. There’s also a nice playground with a skate park for kids.
Would definitely stay again!

Lat 41 South is a wonderful spot on the South Esk for a swim, fish or just lazing about with the kids. The grass was freshly cut and there was barely a thistle in sight!
It's also close to lovely waterfalls like Mathinna and Evercreech, with scenic drives through the forest.

We had a very relaxing long weekend at Grant’s place. The location is great - peaceful, close to everything and beautiful views. There’s plenty of space for people to spread out. Grant is the perfect host - relaxed, friendly, kind and super helpful. As an added bonus we purchased the produce pack with plenty of delicious foods from Grant’s garden. Would highly recommend and definitely on the list to return one day. Thanks Grant!

Great spot. Close to Sheffield and Sandy is a great host. Lovely quiet seating area on the deck and the firepit was perfect for roasting marshmallows.

This spot is absolutely amazing. We had the whole stretch of river to ourselves where we could enjoy the crystal clear water and even had some platypus come and say hello. The location was easy to find, clean, and well maintained. There was lots of space for our dogs to run around and the water was easily accessible for them to have a swim.
Adam is a great host who communicates really well en provided clear directions. The views and tranquillity of this site mean we will definitely become regulars.
