Yindilli Camping and Guided Walks

Yindilli Camping Ground is set amongst some of the most beautiful open eucalypt forests and rainforests of north Queensland and is located on the CREB Track, a popular 4WD tourist route. Nearby is the iconic Roaring Meg Falls. The track is not suitable for towing caravans.

The campsites have access to a freshwater creek for swimming and relaxing. The birdlife is abundant, including the occasional glimpse of a Cassowary. Camp sites are on 2.5ha of lush green lawns, lots of shade and within metres of a fresh water creek for swimming and relaxing.

Facilities include: toilets, showers, dry firewood (on request), spacious sites 

Children and pet friendly.

Guests are advised to only light fires in designated areas and these must be fully extinguished before departure.

Leichhardt Creek Organic Farm

 . We are not open till late May due to having to repair and fix tracks, creek crossing , fencing etc on our property due to Cyclone Jasper and the monsoon. We have a 300 acre organic property which is mainly open forest with a mile of creek frontage. Smaller caravans, tents, camper vans and rooftop tents can camp in the forest next to the creek. This is a working farm and we don't check emails every day so please book ahead. You will have to confirm what time as we have a locked gate. 

Jack's Place Daintree

OPEN ALL YEAR ROUND.Jack's Place is a family-owned retreat property just back from Cow Bay Beach in the Daintree Rainforest. The property has been in our family for over 40 years, being one of the first properties established in the region, named after Jack, a career railwayman & sugar mill operator, our beloved father, grandfather & great grandfather, who 'chucked' his only 'sickie' ever to get to the auction to purchase the property. The property has a lovely seasonal creek which usually flows in the wet season and can sometimes flow all the way through until June, depending on rainfall. There's a shared shed for campers to use.Plenty of lovely freshwater swimming holes in the area and we are about 1km to the beach. Can walk via bitumen road.Good access for all types of vehicles. No amenities so guests need to have everything they need including a toilet and leave no trace.Dog friendly. Campfire permitted in a designated fire pit. Plenty of wood around to gather your own.There are no crocs here but plenty of other wildlife!

Mossman “Tati farm” stay.

Camping on a private cattle farm 7km north of Mossman at Miallo, between Daintree and Port Douglas.

The property is located at the end of a road with no through traffic, its a quiet spot amongst exotic fruit trees and large lawns. A birdwatchers paradise! Plenty of flat grass areas to setup camp. A crystal clear creek runs through the property and there are stunning mountain views with waterfalls. Enjoy a campfire or sit back and enjoy the native wildlife and cattle grazing in the paddock. Firewood is available to purchase on request.

There is a toilet and a shower on-site (only one shower though for all campers so get in quick), campers must be self contained and leave no trace.

We are 10 min north of the famous Mossman gorge and Port Douglas is just 25 minutes South East, "where the rainforest meets the reef". There is a variety of
restaurants and bars, not to mention fantastic boutique shopping. 

Just a short drive away you can explore the World Heritage-Listed Great Barrier Reef and the Daintree Rainforest and Cape Tribulation with an abundance of tours and day trips available. All sites accommodate 1 (one) vehicle and 1 (one) RV, motor home, caravan, campervan, camper trailer or tent per site.
