Most cars are safe but if you have a low set car or if you are delicate with your car I would not recommend. Only 30 mins from natural arch and 20 mins to great fishing and crabbing in the tweed river. Dog friendly (must be well controlled no aggressive dogs). Drop toilets and hot showers. There are 2 cabins available each with private portable toilet and hot outdoor showers. Campfires permitted ( when fire bans not in place) and wood can be purchased in advance during booking process. No fire wood to be collected off property BYO or purchase in advance. Not a place for loud music and parties, happy for everyone to have fun but noise is restricted. *********** SORRY WE ARE FULLY BOOKED FOR EASTER *********** The River Orchard is a majestic 165 acres property nestled between the Oxley River and Mt Warning. The working macadamia farm boasts five campsites each positioned in different nooks with only one group booked in per campsite. Pets and campfires welcome. Hot water shower and compost toilet cleaned several times a day. The Flats Site - The Flats is an extra large site closest to the Oxley River enjoying direct water access with two levels. The first is sheltered by an overhanging sour cherry tree and overlooks the bottom plateau and swimming spot. This site is a short three minute walk to the shower shed. Riverview Site - Riverview is perched on the raised riverbank looking down upon the swimming spot and rapids. A sprawling old tree shelters this extra spacious campsite ideal for large groups. We recommend Riverview for guests with younger children as it does not have direct river access and is the closest to the shower shed. Orchard View - Situated next to the Riverview campsite, this location is close to the river with stunning views across the macadamia orchard. The Grove - The Grove is one of our cosiest sites framed by a towering tree complete with stag horns, with branches that sprawl out over the campsite offering an abundance of shade. Close to the shower shed & a short walk to the river. The Pine Hideaway - This is our most private and stunning site. It looks out over the lotus flower filled dam to mountain panoramas and a secluded island. We look forward to welcoming you.

Jandarra Farm offers a comfortable and peaceful camping experience on a working farm in the Gold Coast hinterland. Certified through Ecotourism Australia, Jandarra’s goal is to model and inspire responsible ecological stewardship and foster harmony and creativity to build a regenerative and abundant future. Jandarra means 'place of peace' and we honour this by having a maximum of 6 campers at a time. There are over 1200 communities globally diverting material from landfill and creating habits of reuse rather than single-use. Therefore, drumroll...please bring reusable rather than single-use (eg beeswax wraps instead of cling wrap, real containers rather than takeaway) and take home any rubbish (you won't find any bins except for the food scraps). We would be very happy to show you how to make a boomerang bag for keeps on the industrial sewing machines that live in the garage. ABOUT REGENERATIVE AGRICULTURE Jandarra is the 40th property in Australia to undertake the Ecological Outcome Verification (EOV) Process through the Savory Institute. EOV was developed in collaboration with leading soil scientists, ecologists, agronomists and an extensive network of regenerative land managers around the world. EOV is a practical and scalable soil and landscape assessment methodology that tracks outcomes in biodiversity, soil health, and ecosystem function (water cycle, mineral cycle, energy flow and community dynamics). Jandarra has 10 Short term monitoring sites plus one long-term monitoring site. By recognising both land regeneration targets and trends, EOV endorsement is bestowed as long as land health moves in a net positive direction with the third year monitoring event in April 2023 confirming the positive trend. We believe EOV gives the land a voice and through this process, provides us with feedback to make better management decisions. We welcome a conversation and to share more information when you visit. Tandem hang gliding gift vouchers are very popular, as you get to take off from the property and flyover you’re campsite and then up to 2500ft. Then come and land right next to your friends and family at the Oz Sky Ranch. We pride ourselves on keeping the property lovely and clean. We are also opening our home and farm to you. So please respect it and enjoy it as we do. We have 5 designated campsites positioned around the property. Within the designated sites, there are camp spots that we rotate. Please check with us to see what ones are open. We need to rotate the sites and rest them. This is how we keep them well-maintained and looking amazing. If it is wet weather we will close down sites and recommend other spots. We rotate the sites and rest them. Then they don’t get overused. We want our camp sites to look lovely for you. We pride our self’s on having a lovely property. If it is bad weather, we will recommend another site or we can give you a full refund. Campfires are allowed at designated camp spots when fire bans aren't in place. Firewood is available to purchase . We have a no dog policy. We accept groups however we have strict rules around this, so please discuss with us first. If you are up early in the morning you may be lucky enough to see the best in QLD barefoot water skiers training on the lake and also tandem hang gliders getting towed up from the airstrip. Our sites are completely isolated from town, with views and not visible from the road. Sites are set among nearly 100 acres of a mix of open land and rainforest. Multiple natural springs exist on the property and a few small spring-fed waterholes are scattered down the cascading hills. Friendly ducks, geese, fish, horses and an abundance of native wildlife live here. This location is home to several endangered species due to being one of the last isolated pockets of rainforest in the area. Sites are part of The Bush Clinic where we specialise in designing and making natural creams, soaps, teas, dodorants and other products as well as running regular Meditation courses and topics such as Energy, Frequency, Grounding and Advanced Organic Growth techniques for those wanting to join in are formally available during your stay. We are new to HipCamp so have limited facilities at present, but they are in progress and we have loads of space per site, comfortable, and lots to offer for those wanting to reconnect with Nature.
