The creek runs around the outside so there are a number of viewing points to see the wildlife mentioned above. A set of solar lights hang over the firepit area allowing for more light while cooking on our wonderful swinging hotplate BBQ. Site 2 Our newer spot work in progress not so ideal for camper trailers. your situated under our tree line away from the main creek. A smaller paver firepit, plenty fine for sitting around an open fire while watching the stars at night. Swimming in the creek is not recommended. So please check by internal message before confirming your booking that way we can confirm a spot while discussing your needs to ensure you have a clear view of your camping area. (Please note Gordonvale Woolies is closed on Sundays, Mount Sheridan shopping centre has Kmart, Coles and Woolies). A cane train line runs across the front of the property so during cane season the trains come past a few times during the day and night. They can be noisy but are fairly quick. Fresh and crystal clear swimming hole/ creek at the end of the road if you continue west down Maitland Road. Please stay in the front block and before the horse stables. Loved this little property! We changed spots after chatting to Margie on arrival as she said there was a spot we might see a croc! It was a lovely spot, with beautiful views around. Margie was very accommodating and helpful! Great spot to then Hike Walsh's Pyramid and check out Behana Creek. Would stay again

Stunning location, beautifully managed with gorgeous surrounds. I even got a luxurious massage off Miyuki-the owner. We DEFINITELY plan to come back (if there’s ever a vacancy - it’s generally booked up). Great weekend.

Beautiful grassed area very quiet. Creek nice an refreshing. Bonus toilet which was nice an clean (portaloo) Only downfall was access to creek is poor and not suitable for older people of kids.

A little spot of paradise right here on earth. I felt as though I were wandering the Amazon. Dead white sand, crystal clear water, cool and green, jungly trees reaching across the creek, a place to restore your soul. Jodie and her dog, Blue, were super friendly. Simply fantastic all round.

This place is truly your ultimate camping experience. The land where we camp is large enough for multiple caravans and level. Right in front of where you camp is the most magical fresh water creek. Plus your own private waterfall which is a short walk from your site. This place is truly so special and magical. Hubby and I have a rule that we never return to the same place twice. In 15 years of travelling around the world- this place is the only exception Jodie is so wonderful and welcoming. Please please please respect this place and leave no trace. Jodie thank you so much for allowing us to stay here. It really is one of a kind Oh my god! I forgot to mention the 2 most friendly and kind camp doggos that will come say hi and Blue will lead you to the waterfall like a little rainforest wizard guide haha

Weekend Trip to Barrine Farmstay And Camping

We had a real magical time here, Emma was a brilliant host! She showed us and the kids around the farm letting us meet her goats, feed the cows and collect eggs from the chickens. She even brought baby goats down to the camp-site to let the kids feed them milk and meet some very friendly dogs. She even gave us trays of eggs that where collected that day from the chickens! Luckily we got to see a baby cow being born during the night and she walked straight up to meet us in the morning! Your kids will love this spot! Camp site had everything we needed from toilets, showers, fire pit and power. Only a short drive away from other activity spots like lake eacham and yungaburra. Was a lovely trip full of memories will definitely be back

Beautiful little private spot next to the creek filled with fish and turtles. There were small rubbish and recycling bins provided, as well as an outhouse with a portable toilet which was kept very clean. Couldn’t swim in the creek as there has been recent croc sighting nearby but still great to camp by.

Great spot on the creek with a really well maintained and flat camp spot, plenty of privacy. Fireflies were a great addition at night, will definitely be back with some friends
