We have several peaceful campsites available on our 175-acre property, 10km from the town of Crows Nest on the Great Dividing Range. 50 minutes from Toowoomba and 2 hours from Brisbane. The hill on the property (Flat Top) is one of the highest points in the area at 660m altitude. From the hilltop, you can enjoy 360-degree views of the surrounding area, with views across the Esk Valley towards the Sunshine Coast, sunsets over the hills surrounding Crows Nest, and even glimpses of Cressbrook Dam. Unbeatable stargazing at night! There are two separate campsites on the hilltop, one at each end (out of sight from each other). We also have two secluded bush campsites down the paddocks. And there is a flat site, ideal for Caravans at the front of the property overlooking the escarpment. We feel very spoilt living here in this beautiful place and would love for others to share it. It is extremely quiet and peaceful, yet less than a 15-minute drive to Crows Nest. There is currently one long drop toilet located alongside the driveway, closest to the Kookaburra's Nest campsite. Otherwise camper's will have to be self sufficient. There is plenty to explore in the area, including: Crows Nest Falls National Park Ravensbourne National Park Bullocky's Rest and creekside walk in Crows Nest Crows Nest Museum Cressbrook and Perseverance Dams Muntapa Railway Tunnel towards Cooyar Horse riding at Cowboy Up French patisserie and other cafes in Crows Nest. Also antique, boutique, and craft shops (the second-hand book store is my favourite!) Please note: the driveway is long and rough. 2WD accessible, but bumpy. Off road/hybrid caravans may not be suitable. Please enquire, and we can see if there are any suitable sites. Pets are allowed, but dogs on the Hilltop sites must be on leads, please.

THE PROPERTY Ideally loacted just 3 kl from the township of Esk this 50 acre farm offers campers the perfect retreat to relax and unwind. With large level and mown grassy sites there is plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the space. Firepits are provided for campsites. An amazing covered communal area offers basic cooking facilities and great seating areas overlooking the dam to relax and enjoy the outlook. The farm has a variety of animals including alpacas and goats and we invite you to join us to feed and pat them in the afternoons. You will also notice a group of 6 geese that wander around the property plus a vast array of native birdlife and you may also be able to spot the odd koala. The property used to be a fish farm and there is 13 dams. The main dam is large and provides the opportunity for a swim, kayak or paddleboard. We invite guests to bring these with them. The farm also borders Sandy Creek. Whilst this has little water it is a great spot to take the kids down to and play in the sand and maybe a bit of a paddle. All the fencing on the farm is 6ft high dogwire and we do welcome dogs however with the geese and also free range chickens dogs must be kept controlled at all time. PLEASE NOTE. There is no power. All rubbish to be removed when you go. No showers. Toilets are available.

We have 178 acres of beautiful land hidden in the hills of Tarome in the Scenic Rim community. An amazing view of the national park and Cunninghams Gap. There is a hidden creek at the back of the property that never runs dry, running from Gap Creek Falls at the top of Cunninghams Gap. The location is perfect for a quick getaway or long stay, complete privacy and little reception depending on your phone service, ensuring a peaceful camping stay. There is lots of activities within a short drive from the property including fishing at Lake Moogerah, hiking the mountain tops or having brunch at the amazing local cafe's in the area. Our campsites are hidden in the hills, down by the creek or out in the open. You will need a 4 WD to access the rear of the property. There are 3 x 2WD camping options for caravans over 17ft or those not off road. Depending on the type of vehicle and van will dictate your camping locations. Maximum caravan access for the rear of the property is 17ft off road van. This is due to the hill climb and a tight corner at the top. Dogs are welcome but must stay within the camp, be under control or on a leash. If you have friends who you want to invite but don't have camping gear that's okay, we have the option to hire a camper trailer. All they need to bring is food and drinks. Only 1 available, please see Extras. We welcome self-contained campers who bring their own camping toilet/shower, and drinking water. All human, food and general waste is to be removed upon leaving the campsite. We have fireplaces set up but if you prefer a different site for your fire please bring your own fire pit. There is an abundance of birds and wildlife including Red Necked Wallabies, Possums, Rufus Batongs, Bandicoots and Echidnas. There are seasonal creeks and waterfalls and wildflowers. Campers may occasionally be visited by a herd of friendly goats that like soft drink and chips. We often have baby goats and alpacas that are being hand reared which are popular with kids and adults alike. Dogs are permitted but have to be quiet and restrained. Campfires permitted at our discretion (please ask first - depending on weather conditions). You'll need to BYO wood. Campers MUST have their own toilet. The standard "Pack it in. Pack it out" rules apply. All sites are accessible by STANDARD HEIGHT 2WD however 4WD may be required if towing. There is a 'special' site reserved for Larger RVs and Caravans. Cooby Dam is only minutes away for fishing, Kayaking and canoeing

We are a life style property of approximately 700 acres in the Toowoomba region located close to Crows Nest in QLD. We offer space for campers, Glamping Bell Tents, Rustic events barn and a renovated lodge for those looking for comfortable indoor accommodation. You'll see sandstone outcrops, seasonal creeks, spectacular sunsets, open grassy areas and seasonal wildflowers. Many tree varieties and an abundance of bird species. Farm Donkeys too! We don't have any amenities for campers so guests must be self-contained leaving no waste behind. Flushing toilets and hot showers provided at The White Cow Barn for an extra fee to campers and included in Glamping Bell tent pricing. Pets are welcome but must be controlled at all times. No pets in Glamping Bell Tents. Campfires permitted in designated areas when restrictions aren't in place. Check with us on arrival. Please do not cut down any trees. Enjoy the true Australian bush experience at one of our designated sites along a 3km 4WD track on our Mountain Top, with bush seclusion and/or panoramic views with fire pits on each site. Our Mountain Top sites are for camping only (tents, swags or rooftop tent) and can only be access by 4WD. No trailers or caravans are permitted. Our Picnic Area offers accessibility to trailers, off roads campers and vans. It is situated on a creek flat beside a seasonal creek with sandstone cliffs framing the backdrop. The Elysium Lodge is a renovated farmhouse with a unique architectural design and serene feel leaving its guests relaxed and rejuvenated. With 3 bedrooms, spacious bathroom, laundry and large lounge /dining there is room for the whole family. There is a covered outdoor space with a fantastic outlook and nearby fire pit for relaxing with your favourite drink. There is a double carport for your vehicles. The Gum Tree Glamping tents contain queen bed bases with innerspring mattresses made with snuggly bedding. Tea Coffee facilities as well as hot showers and flushing toilets at our barn. Use of kitchen facilities at the barn are also included. A Romantic getaway or family time we have something for everyone the perfect home away from home.
