Welcome to our not-for-profit grounds, now open to the public. The camp has been set up as a youth-oriented facility that welcomes travellers and regional people. All proceeds go towards running costs and improving facilities. We have an onsite caretaker (LES) for maintaining the property. Dog friendly (must be controlled at all times!) and good access for caravans and all types of vehicles.A large flat grassed area for camping and 200m walk to The Boyne River at Pikes Crossing with access for swimming. There is an area to launch small boats and ideal for canoeing and kayaking in protected waters. Close to Lake Awoonga (4km drive) for fishing and all other aquatic activities along with a great barramundi stocked impoundment.There is a large undercover area with tables and chairs, flushing toilets and hot showers and designated campfire area. All campers have access to this. We also offer a commercial kitchen and BBQs for group bookings. We welcome community functions, weddings, birthday parties and youth groups. Inquiries welcome.

Boyne Waters is easy to find as it is located on the side of the Bruce hwy right where the bridge crosses the Boyne River. There is a Main Roads rest area located straight out front of our Property.
The property is set on ten acres along side Boyne River. We have producing mango trees and a couple of cattle. The river and Awonga dam are well known for there fishing and Barrumundi.

Our quirky communal building has lots of power points, hot showers, flushing toilets, free Wifi, pool table, dining areas, fire place and we now have a pool-side cafe, boutique and massage on site.
We are pet friendly, "ONLY ONE DOG PER SITE" and must remain on leads or runs whilst on the property. Please note that animals are not permitted in any of the undercover common areas or swimming pool enclosure. We are a short 2 minute drive to the new Agnes Central shopping center, 5 minutes to Agnes Water town centre and local beaches, and a 15 minute drive to the beautiful town of 1770.
Our property runs on rain water and On-tap drinking water is available in the camp kitchen.

Our beautiful, peaceful 4 acre property is nestled amongst natural bushland on a gentle sloping block with 180 degree views overlooking the famous Paperbark Forest. Our compacted gravel driveway is suitable for all vehicle types and will lead you up to a large flat, grassy area where you can enjoy levelled parking for a comfortable stay. Site 2 is levelled and just as peaceful but not grassed.
Our property is located only a short 5 minute drive to Agnes Water main beach, town centre and 10 minutes to the iconic town of 1770. There are many things to do and see in and around the area so make sure you ask us for some hot tips on where to go and what to do.
Comfort is key! Enjoy your very own 5 star eco toilet and shower block. Wash away the day while watching the sunset disappear behind the mountains from our beautiful open air rain water shower. The loo also has a great view. Trust us you wont want to miss out on this experience (Please note: shower is cold water only)
Hungry? Ron's Veggies across the road has you covered. Take a stroll down the driveway to see his great selection of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables.
IMPORTANT Please note:
We only offer the 2 campsite areas at any one time (top grassed area and compacted pad) to ensure your stay is as peaceful and private as possible, but please note we have live in, onsite caretakers who reside in front of the shed up the top on the grassed area and on occasions friends and family do come up to visit. Please check with us beforehand to see if we have friends or family staying before you book if this may be an issue for you.
Please be respectful of our toilet block and ensure ALL children are accompanied by an adult in the shower/toilet facility.
Campfires: Fires are welcome in the designated fire pit area or if you have your own off the ground pit but you will need to bring along your own firewood.
Animals: Your fury/feathery friends are more than welcome but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and not to be left unattended during your stay. Please also ensure their waste is picked up and disposed of off the property.
Waste: Bins are not provided and we ask that all rubbish is taken with you, including ALL cigarette butts.

This property is a perfect getaway for anyone who loves nature. It is beautiful and peaceful, and the wildlife is amazing. You can even go fishing, which is awesome. Plus, there are plenty of nearby attractions to keep you busy. You have Tanum Sands, Boyne Island (a fifteen-minute drive away), Calliope River, and the historical museum just down the road. If you feel like exploring further, Gladstone city is just a twenty-minute drive away. You can go sightseeing or shopping there, but honestly, awesome Calliope has everything you need.
When you're back at the property, you can have a swim and a fire at night, enjoy the wildlife, have a beer, and have a BBQ. The pub is only ten minutes away, as is the bowls club.
Do whatever you want and have a good time. If you need any advice or help with anything, I'm at the top of the hill. Cheers! I'm happy to help with anything that you need. There's plenty of firewood here, so don't worry about that. If the kids want to pat the horses, I'm happy to assist.
Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure.
Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided.

Agnes Water Base Camp is a dog-friendly retreat spread over 120 acres of beautiful bushland. The property offers a range of sites set within this scenic natural environment, with more sites continually being created as the regrowth is cleared. While the track around the property currently has some overhanging saplings, it's ideal for walking and exploring, unless you wish to risk scratching your vehicle. This area is a work in progress and is constantly improving.
The highlight of the camp is the large, swimmable dam, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The property also boasts approximately 250 fruit trees and is home to Brahma chickens and roosters, adding to the rustic charm. There's a 3-kilometer walking trail for those who love to hike, and you'll find potable water and ample firewood available.
