Dog friendly (must be controlled at all times!) and good access for caravans and all types of vehicles.A large flat grassed area for camping and 200m walk to The Boyne River at Pikes Crossing with access for swimming. There is an area to launch small boats and ideal for canoeing and kayaking in protected waters. Close to Lake Awoonga (4km drive) for fishing and all other aquatic activities along with a great barramundi stocked impoundment.There is a large undercover area with tables and chairs, flushing toilets and hot showers and designated campfire area. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted.
All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms.

Purchased in 1988 as a block of Bush, the majority of clearing was initially done with a small Massey Ferguson Te20 a long length of chain a shovel and chainsaw.Built originally with nothing more than the chainsaw, shovel, hammer and nails the log cabin that I still live in has undergone a few changes over the years but we have tried to keep it looking the same on the outside made mostly from large hardwood posts and paperbark slabs and half rounds for walls concrete floor with sunken lounge room. The hand built rock chimney is the feature piece of the front of the cabin so be sure to check it out and get a few pics.

A beautiful name for these beautiful and unique 75 acres (30.45ha) facing north directly onto tidal Euleilah Creek (part of the Baffle Creek system) with huge 859m (approx.) creek frontage.
For those of you who love fishing or going out in the tinny, you can take your pick at Kotuku as you have both an on-site pontoon and boat ramp. Baffle Creek is well known for prawns, crabs and fishing - think of the fun to be had. The property is very attractive with open grassed areas and mature Eucalypts for shade along the creek banks. This campsite is located at Captain Creek. 15kms from Agnes water 1770. on 40 acres with a seasonal creek. We have a lovely natural bush setting with privacy. Suited for off grid campers. You will see kangaroos and lots of bird life to watch.
Our region is well known for surfing, however Agnes Water and 1770 are also home to calm inlets tailor-made for stand-up paddleboarding and kayaking. BYO paddleboard or explore the coastline and waterways by kayak. You can even paddle past Captain Cook’s landing point and on towards the headland to watch the sun set over the ocean (a rare sight on Australia’s East coast).
Follow the trail or take your mountain bike along boardwalks and across stepping stones on the 1.5 hr, 3km Red Rock Trail. You can start your adventure at the end of Springs Beach and head south along rocky trails peppered with pandanus palms all the way to the far end of Red Rock Beach.

It is a lovely open large camp area very quiet even though it is close to the road you cannot hear much of the road noise , boat ramp great fishing very peaceful and relaxing. Jason comes down and empties the bins and always asks if there is anything you need . We have been there 3 times and each time with different grandchildren and will definitely going back .

Korner’s Bush Escape is beautiful, Phillip has site located in beautiful locations ensuring privacy, shade and close to water. He was the perfect host, helpful but not intrusive. It is a little further from 1770 than I anticipated but it’s a lovely drive, the 4x4 track is fantastic with secluded beaches. Loved our stay.

Bret’s property was perfect for our two night stay. It was peaceful hectic to the river and close to the main residence. We are early risers so didn’t mind the rooster’s wake up call close by. And Buddy the dog was friendly and visited at times. Thanks for letting us stay Bret!

Beautiful campground near to Agnes Water. Connection to nature is key here, the hosts built an impressive boardwalk to walk into the forrest (pram friendly) with signage about animals and trees. Clean facilities and nice hosts.

Ripper spot, just out of down. Everything you need and plenty of space to setup and have a peaceful camp. Beautiful property with lots of fun trails and attractions! Would definitely stay here again. The kangaroos and kookaburras are the cherry on top! Hosts were lovely and had great knowledge of the local area.
