From the Marina, you can depart to Lady Musgrave Island, enjoy 1 hr to full day tour on the iconic Larcs and enjoy  spectacular sunsets.The are some must-visit small businesses in the area including Rusty Pelican Fish and Chips, Pancake Creek Tours, Katrina's Bar (for sunset drinks) and Marina Cafe (for best coffee and vanilla slice).There are no facilities here, campers will need to be self contained and leave no trace. Council's dump point is just 5 minutes away.

Our compacted gravel driveway is suitable for all vehicle types and will lead you up to a large flat, grassy area where you can enjoy levelled parking for a comfortable stay. Site 2 is levelled and just as peaceful but not grassed. Our property is located only a short 5 minute drive to Agnes Water main beach, town centre and 10 minutes to the iconic town of 1770. There are many things to do and see in and around the area so make sure you ask us for some hot tips on where to go and what to do. Comfort is key! Enjoy your very own 5 star eco toilet and shower block. Wash away the day while watching the sunset disappear behind the mountains from our beautiful open air rain water shower. The loo also has a great view. Trust us you wont want to miss out on this experience (Please note: shower is cold water only) Hungry? Ron's Veggies across the road has you covered. Take a stroll down the driveway to see his great selection of locally grown fresh fruit and vegetables. IMPORTANT Please note: We only offer the 2 campsite areas at any one time (top grassed area and compacted pad) to ensure your stay is as peaceful and private as possible, but please note we have live in, onsite caretakers who reside in front of the shed up the top on the grassed area and on occasions friends and family do come up to visit. Please check with us beforehand to see if we have friends or family staying before you book if this may be an issue for you. Please be respectful of our toilet block and ensure ALL children are accompanied by an adult in the shower/toilet facility. Campfires: Fires are welcome in the designated fire pit area or if you have your own off the ground pit but you will need to bring along your own firewood. Animals: Your fury/feathery friends are more than welcome but we ask that they are kept on a lead at all times and not to be left unattended during your stay. Please also ensure their waste is picked up and disposed of off the property. Waste: Bins are not provided and we ask that all rubbish is taken with you, including ALL cigarette butts. Camping is a self-sufficient affair with 2 long drop toilets. For small groups of campers we have available a hot shower and septic toilets.There is an abundance of wildlife to be seen as well as a 7km walking/bicycle track available to stretch out weary muscles. For fishing/crabbing enthusiasts it is a 15km 4 wheel drive access to Sandfly boat ramp for fishing and crabbing or 26km for a 2 wheel drive and larger boat to Ramsey's boat ramp located at The Narrows. Excellent fishing!Campfires are permitted with wood included (when restrictions aren't in place). Dogs allowed and must be on leash at all times.SPECIAL EVENTS: During the weekends only of QLD school holidays, we are open for motorbike trail rides. You need to have an MQ license and be part of a motorcycle club (we have our insurance with Motorcycling Queensland). If unsure please ask. This means things are a bit noisier on the weekends of school holidays. :)

Welcome to our 40-acre property with spectacular views and a number of paddocks with dams available for camping, plus some indoor options too. We are just minutes away from the popular Agnes Waters, but you'll feel like you are a million miles away! This is the place for ocean views, sunrises and sunsets. We have good access for caravans and plenty of room! We are dog-friendly. There is drinking water available. Campfires are permitted in a designated area when restrictions aren't in place. Firewood Can be Purchased. For camping we have a large unpowered area with some trees for shade. If you need a powered tent site, please message us and we'd be happy to arrange it for you. The amenities block features a kitchen, lounge, TV, charge points and a big fire pit. We have our new Landry up and running now. The Bus is fitted out and has everything you need to stay with your pets. Enjoy the Queen bed, a lounge, fridge, microwave, seating, TV, and air conditioner. It is set in the trees for added comfort. All linen and towels are provided, and you will have use of the toilet and shower in the amenities block. The Lani Room and the Rama Room in the Sunset Lodge each has two bedrooms, each with one queen bed and one king single bed. There are shared common areas, lounge, kitchen, outdoors shower and toilet. The property offers a range of sites set within this scenic natural environment, with more sites continually being created as the regrowth is cleared. While the track around the property currently has some overhanging saplings, it's ideal for walking and exploring, unless you wish to risk scratching your vehicle. This area is a work in progress and is constantly improving. The highlight of the camp is the large, swimmable dam, perfect for a refreshing dip on a hot day. The property also boasts approximately 250 fruit trees and is home to Brahma chickens and roosters, adding to the rustic charm. There's a 3-kilometer walking trail for those who love to hike, and you'll find potable water and ample firewood available. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Sunsets at Agnes Water Base Camp are absolutely stunning, with panoramic views of the nearby mountain ranges. When night falls, the starry skies above are nothing short of magnificent, making it an ideal spot for witnessing astrological events reflected in the tranquil waters of the dam. This camp offers a perfect blend of natural beauty and rustic charm for your getaway.

Plus, there are plenty of nearby attractions to keep you busy. You have Tanum Sands, Boyne Island (a fifteen-minute drive away), Calliope River, and the historical museum just down the road. If you feel like exploring further, Gladstone city is just a twenty-minute drive away. You can go sightseeing or shopping there, but honestly, awesome Calliope has everything you need. When you're back at the property, you can have a swim and a fire at night, enjoy the wildlife, have a beer, and have a BBQ. The pub is only ten minutes away, as is the bowls club. Do whatever you want and have a good time. If you need any advice or help with anything, I'm at the top of the hill. Cheers! I'm happy to help with anything that you need. There's plenty of firewood here, so don't worry about that. If the kids want to pat the horses, I'm happy to assist. Guests must be fully self contained with their own toilet/shower facilities and must take all waste with them on departure. Campfires are welcome in the fire pit provided. Pets are allowed on leash.

The Safe Haven can accommodate up to 4 caravans/campers with a communal central fireplace by the water. A seasonal summer stream normally runs through the length of the property from January to May. During this time access to some of the walking trails can be restricted. All sites can be left unattended and secure by visitors for day trips to surrounding areas such as Agnes Water, Seventeen Seventy, the Boyne Valley or various National Parks located within 50klms. Your hosts are always present and ready to assist in any way they can. Dogs welcome. Note: Flushing toilet is located adjacent to the Safe Haven campsite.
