The large campsite is located alongside our 14 acre dam with a pontoon and dam banks to explore. The site is flat and mowed, with easy access from the road for caravans. The dam is perfect to launch a SUP/ canoe out on, float around on floaties and spot some turtles or eels. Great to swim in/ try your luck with a fishing rod, but NO JUMPING from the pontoon as water levels vary and submerged debris/ trees etc. (common sense swimming in dam and water sources.) The pontoon is perfect for evening sunsets (or a sneaky proposal, which has happened a few times already!) ** Please be very conscious of deciding to camp with children in close proximity to an open water source. Safety is our highest priority. The recent addition of our feature windmill makes for gorgeous photos and country feels. The campsite is bordered by seasonal crops. We also have Cattle that rotate through different paddocks on the property, depending on feed and crop cycles. (Not all guests will have cattle about sorry kiddies!) **Pets welcome, but to remain under STRICT supervision. Not to chase cattle or wildlife. ** Our property is also home to the local remote controlled airplane club. Guests will be able to see them fly around of a weekend. You can watch from the campsite but we ask not to walk through the paddocks or approach the club. During weekday stays (and some weekends) you will have the pleasure to see fighter aircraft, KC-30s and the impressive C17 Globemasters doing some low flying and pass overs as we are just on the edge of the Amberley RAAF Base circuit area. Such a beautiful location with fantastic views! The horses just added that extra farm stay touch and made you feel like such a part of nature. We were unlucky enough to get caught in some big storms but the property was so well maintained it didnt affect us at all and no issues getting the caravan in and out. It was very windy though so don't make the same mistake we did by putting the awning out if the weather isn't 100%! Overall very private and relaxing location and only 10 minutes out from Dayborough. Will definitely be back.

Absolutely outstanding Hipcamp. The beautiful, peaceful setting and the use of Kayaks were much appreciated. One camper did use a generator, but let us know that his van had lost power and was being remotely repaired; we were offered the opportunity to plug in. It wasn't noisy, allowing us to recharge our own batteries. Would highly recommend the Hipcamp. Thanks Mitch and Holly for allowing us to return and enjoy your property once again.
